I got my invisiligns as a groupon, so i got a significant discount, Dr. Eliadis is very attentious and always comes in to take a look even when im only over to get trays for my invisilign. They can be a little messy about the wait times and all but who isnt specially at a doctors office. But when you have an issue, he will not only help you but also make sure to follow up. He wanted to help me who needed a periodontal surgery and he took x-rays and explained to me what my otber periodontist was saying and never charged me for it. I am really greatful and happy that i came to him, becaus i can safely say he got your back no matter what, he is more than just an invisilign and dentist, he becomes someone who cates about your well being. When I first visited this office, I felt hopeful. The staff seemed knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely committed to helping me start my orthodontic journey. I paid for my Invisalign treatment in full, trusting I'd receive quality care. Unfortunately, the experience took a sharp turn. I was told I'd hear from Invisalign within two weeks--but that timeframe came and went with no update. When I followed up, I was met with vague explanations and shifting responses. No accountability, no clear communication. After requesting to cancel treatment, the orthodontist's wife--who helps manage the office-reached out to me in attempts to explain the breakdown in communication. Her first reason for their office disorganization was due to her staff whom she called "clueless". Later, she used a personal death as an excuse for the office's delays which was neither here nor there for me due to the fact that it was only communicated only after I had already expressed concerns multiple times. While I absolutely sympathize with personal loss, it should never be used to deflect from a pattern of inefficiency. If there are unusual circumstances that knowingly creates a lag in business, That information should have been professionally communicated to clients as soon as it occurred. It is a form of courtesy in the least and at best, shows consideration and respect for the client's business and time. While speaking with the doctor's wife, what was most insulting was her assumption about my finances. She told me I should continue treatment with them because it would be "too expensive" for me elsewhere--as if she had any insight into what I could or could not afford. That level of overstepping was completely inappropriate. Not only did they delay my treatment but I had to repeatedly DEMAND cancellation. Instead of honoring my decision, they repeatedly tried to convince me to continue, using pressure tactics rather than professionalism by having mutliple people reach out to me (doctor, staff, wife) when I clearly stated that I did not want to speak with anyone and simply wanted to cancel. And when they finally canceled treatment as I requested , they retroactively charged me for a cleaning I had received at the start--one that was originally presented as complimentary. This felt retaliatory and only confirmed my decision to walk away. As previously stated, the doctor's wife repeatedly emphasized how great of a deal I was getting and how I wouldn't be able to afford any other provider or find that price else where. Ironically, I found another provider offering the exact same price, with a more modern facility, efficient communication, and respectful staff--no manipulation, no excuses. If you're considering long-term orthodontic care, I encourage you to look for an office that respects your time, your intelligence, and your investment. And to the staff I'd be careful working for an employer who disrespects and throws you under the bus privately to their clients to save face for "the business". In truth, unknowledgeable staff says more about the management and leadership. Lastly, (this is the kicker) I called the office to request my X-rays so I could transfer them to another provider. The receptionist informed me that there was only 1 shot availble from the full set that was taken initially. When I ansked what happed to them. She said..."I Don't know." She emailed me the image which I have uploaded for your viewing pleasure. As you can see it's unlabeled/undated and truthfully. I'm Not sure how even the doctor read that one. I am an anxiety ridden mess when I see a dentist due to past trauma but everyone is sweet and so understanding of my needs/concerns and make my visits a breeze. I truly am so grateful for Dr. E and everyone in his office for their kindness and professionalism. The care Dr. E provides his patients is unmatched! He cares deeply and it shows in every way. He even made it a point to text me the following day after implant surgery a few years back to make sure I was okay! Unbelievably bad. He put a crown in, it keeps falling out. My girlfriend had insurance, he asked her to pay for her work, he promised to give the money back when he got the money from her insurance. Despite several calls and emails, he never gave the money back. Now, he keeps sending me emails and text messages (like "special offers"), even though I asked that my name be taken off his list. Like a bad dream that keeps coming back to haunt me. When I first met him, I liked him. He has a good bedside manner. But he is a terrible dentist and a crook. Ok first off I went with a amazon local deal for An Invisaline treatment at that I paid $3000 for in full to them. For a Complete session, now my teeth weren't that bad I just wanted to close the spaces so I only needed to wear for eight months which is very short for braces I asked in the beginning and went though my paperwork very meticulously if my retainers were included and I was told yes. But nothing in my paperwork it didn't say anything about retainers just the braces that is why I asked. Given the yes that my braces would be covered my retainers and my x-rays and indentations I agreed to that Because I fit the profile to get them now I'm coming to the close of my eight-month session I'm on my last two retainers and when I went to go pick up my last four retainers I was told that I would need to buy my retainers for a price of $750 this is very shocking to me. Because I did a lot of reviews with plenty of retainers being included in the price or some of them not but being the fact that I asked beforehand and thought it was included I was very confused the front desk assistant asked me if I knew about it and if anyone told me and I told her no and she said all of it was in your paperwork and I said It wasn't and she said yeah it is ,would you like to check .I told her yes and when she went to go look at folder and papers there's nothing there and I told her I know what I signed off on and that's really weird. Now my Invisaline session went really well given the fact that it was very short and I really didn't have any bumps along the way. If anything one of my bumpers which is an attachment they attach to your teeth fell off and I told him it never got replaced but that's okay because my teeth so moved accordingly. The Office was okay clean and professional the staff was very friendly this is why I was very confused this new information given to me. Although I have witnessed a few angry customers yelling at the front desk screaming but I never really got into it I would just leave not really know why they're upset but I can see they do some shady stuff. So I don't know what I'm supposed to do. if I was told beforehand that $750 was the extra fee towards my $3000 I would really re considered because that an extra $1000 that I have to pull out of the air I'm still paying for my braces right now what am I supposed to do with that additional fee. I only went along with this because I budgeted properly for this amount of money so I can still be able to pay my rent my insurance my bills school ..etc. so I'm really upset with the office. Why hide and wait to tell me this kind of information when I'm literally at the end of my Invisaline there's no way that you can't get retainers because then it will be $3000 wasted because I can't afford $750 . The owner and the main Cosmetic Dentist William G. Eliades, DDS who is seen in all of pictures was there in the beginning and treated me once or twice and then after that I never saw him again I never really thought anything about it because I figured he might just be at his other office located in Astoria because I'm in the one Flushing after he left I was treated by two different orthodontics. And I have a lot of questions I would really like to ask him because I was never informed by him or any of his staff . it's really disappointing. So given the fact that this kind of information was withheld from me I feel really mixed about the service here they're very friendly when I was getting it done but why not tell me something so important that could of changed my whole decision. I had previously put in a bad review due to untimely reimbursement, and limited customer service, however, once the owner saw my review, he made a personal effort to reach out to me and address all of my concerns. He even offered to whiten my smile for free to apologize for the inconvenience. That's good business!! I got my Invisalign done with dr. Lai, who is amazing at her job. I gave 4 stars because unfortunately, she is only in on Thursdays which can be restricting due to patients' schedules. It also takes a really long time for your trays to come in when they're ordered. But if your Thursdays are free, I highly recommend seeing her. Other than that, it's a very clean dentistry with a variety of options for your dental needs. They also have good deals running all the time so you can fix your teeth at a bargain! read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. this is the most fradulent dentist office i have ever experienced in my life. lets begin... i arrive at the office with a tooth that been bothering me within 5 minutes of sitting in the chair he "the dentist" suggested i need a root canal and also remove al 4 of my wisdom teeth?? he made it seem/pressure me into thinking it was a bad problem so automatically i panic and wanted to fix the problem. before i had anytime to think about it he was applying anesthesia on my gums to file the tooth for the root canal, i even had to stop him to ask what exactly were we going to do at this moment. while we waited for the anesthesia to kick in one of the staff brings me a form to sign up for the payment loan which at this point i was still freaked out with the diagnosis i received so i filled out the form. after he filed my tooth and puts some plaster on it and send me out the door my spider senses started to kick in and before i left the office i asked the receptionist to not sign me up for any loans i wanted to think about it a little bit more. she informs me she had already sent in the form (remind you i filled out the form less than 20 minutes ago) she proceed to say that she was going to call them to see if she could cancel it that she will call me with an update.fast foward 3 days later no update and the tooth started to hurt even more, the plaster he put on the filed tooth had almost fallen completely off so i stopped by the office so he could put more of the plaster on it and check out why was i in so much pain. HE COMES IN THE ROOM, DOES NOT EVEN INSPECT THE TOOTH JUST PUT MORE PLASTER ON THE WRONG TOOTH!!! AT THIS POINT I START FREAKING OUT, SO HE SENDS A YOUNG LADY INTO THE ROOM WHO PUTS PLASTER ON THE CORRECT TOOTH AND INFORMS ME THAT HE'S NOT A GOOD DENTIST. I REPEAT THE YOUNG LADY THAT WORKS FOR HIM ADVICES ME THAT HE IS NOT A GOOD DENTIST I SHOULD GO SOME WHERE ELSE. At this point i don't even want to breathe the same air as this so called "dentist" so i walked to the front office and ask them if the loan application was cancelled, the receptionist tells me no once u sign we have to bill you for the work already done and they will reimbursement me? why if i have insurance and the only work he had done at this point was file a tooth and put plaster on the wrong tooth? well they billed my insurance for the work they did which its understandable but also bill me over $2000 from the loan they were supposed to cancel in the first place. This dentist visit has affected my credit due to the fact i refuse to pay for a fruadulent account, not to mention i also had to pay for a REAL dentist to do the proper work who also informed me there was no reason to take out any of my wisdom teeth. I have never had a better experience anywhere at any time with anyone in the medical profession. Dr Eliades and his staff have lived up to their name "Family Dentist". I felt the genuine care and welcoming embrace of a family. This is a happy office, the staff smiled a lot and everyone stopped and asked me if I was ok after the procedure. The address I went to was in Astoria - not the Flushing address listed here. I believe the dentist truly wants a new attitude towards his business...and maybe he even did things to fix it. My review is old - so you need to check it out for yourself. ====== This (following) is my original and previous followup review. 2/13/17: I have been asked to change my review since my money was refunded. This is my change: I changed my star rating to 2 from 1 because they did, in the end, refund my money and I finally got my xrays. My experience was well over a year ago, now, so you cannot take it as current...things clearly may have changed. I understand that the dentist had some family issue when I was going there and there certainly was a revolving door of part-time dentists. I spent two years to get one crown - including six months with this dentist and then for the correction with another dentist and an oral surgeon as my gum had to be cut because of the poor work done in the first place. In the end I say to you: be careful. If something seems off or wrong - it may be. The dentist tried to blame his part-time dentist on all the issues, however one of the issues was that the main dentist glued the crown in before checking to see if it fit. (and see other issues with the staff not ordering my crown, not keeping appointments, not calling with updates). One of the part-time dentists left for lunch (me in the chair!) because he (forgot?) to do the adjustments to the crown (yes more than one crown didn't work - one had a HOLE in the top....too much grinding adjustment I think is what happened. I promised to change my review - which is what I am doing. I will not lie about my real experience. The dental care and office experience was pretty awful. It cost me two years to get the tooth/crown fixed. Yes, they finally refunded my money after a cleaning at another dentist pointed out that the crown wasnt right. I would rather have not gone to this dentist at all. Would *I* recommend them based on MY experience: no way. Original review follows: I tried very hard to work with this office. It took six months to get a crown which I have just found out from two other dentists is still not right (as I suspected). The office staff is not reliable in what they say they will do, I had appointments confirmed only to find out the "case" (my crown) was not, in fact, in the office. One time I got there only to be told they never ordered the crown (which I had just waited several weeks for it to come in), and that the crown (now on the third or fourth attempt) now be started again from scratch. At my first, Dr Eliades and his staff were very accommodating. After my cleaning and exam I was told that I needed a crown. Okay no big deal. I was charged $700 for a crown and was told they were going to put a rush on it. The dentist wanted it in before a left for vacation. As promised the crown came in. About a month later, the crown fell out while I was flossing. I went back to the dentist and was told, oh I only put it in with temporary cement to make sure it fit. He then said I'm going to put it in with permanent cement. Okay great, needless to say the crown fell out again the same night while eating pasta on a Saturday. I texted the dentist and was told I'll be in Tuesday. Not okay come in now I'll meet you there. No I'll be in Tuesday. I was able to get another dentist to look at it and was told that the crown was poorly made and didn't even fit. The new dentist, when fitting me for a new crown realized that Dr Eliades left decay in that tooth. He didn't even take all the decay out. I would've had to have root canal if it was not taken care of. My new dentist said don't ever go back to this guy and go ask for your money back because you were robbed. I want my $700 back that you charged me for your shoddy work. This dentist even robbed my girlfriends insurance company. Charging thousands of dollars for only xrays. When she called the office, they won't even adjust the bill. They said bring the $600 check first and then we'll refund you. She asked to have the credit done first and have the insurance company adjust the payment. They told her that if she keeps the check she'll be charged with fraud. She advised them that she will report then to her insurance company because they are clearly committing fraud here. Please stay away from this practice. read more

Started off not that bad, the staff seemed friendly and the doctor was friendly. I knew something was fishy when it took several months to finish a root canal I had to get done. The crown ended up falling out and I went to another dentist and they told me the whole root canal job was done poorly. While visiting relatives in New York, I had a bad tooth ache. I was immediately taken to Queens Family Dental and boy, did they take care of me! As soon as I walked in and they saw my cheek, they hustled me into a room and got me settled...Dr. Bill came in and greeted me with concern and "let's see how we can help you" attitude....poking and probing he found the problem and did what needed to be done....experienced very little pain while all this was going on and felt so much better when I left....great service at this dental office....nice people too! read more

If I could give ZERO stars to this place I would!!!!!!! But before I explain why, let me clarify that it is not due to the dentistry aspect. This pertains solely to the HORRIBLEEEEEEE STAFF that works there. Starting from their INCOMPETENT secretary--- Not only is she incredibly rude, nasty and mocks patients when they call, she doesnt not have the people skills nor the communication skils to address any issueswith a PAYING PATIENT. I have had a year of hell and message and appts screwed up bec she deliberately cancelled my appts, would NOT replay messgs to me from the manager --- the list goes on!!!!!!! The owner, head dentist is mainly in Astoria. The Fliushing office is a shit show. RUN,RUN,RUN as fast as you can. I went there a couple of years ago for a broken veneer. The dentist started to grind my tooth down even farther and when I asked him why, he responded that we do them differently. Differently? All he had to do was clean it up and glue the new veneer on. He ground the tooth down TOO FAR and thats when the pain started. He did a root canal at no charge.( how could he charge me for his screw up). He botched the root canal, went too far past the apex. ( this was confirmed by 2 other good dentists and also screwed up another root canal which I probably didn't need by not sealing it correctly. HAD TO HAVE THEN BOTH PULLED AND THOUSANDS FOR IMPLANTS AND NEW CROWNS. HIS OFFICE MANAGER THREATENED TO PUT ME IN COLLECTIONS AND RUIN MY CREDIT !! I PAID AND I.M STILL PAYING! Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE. Bought an Invisaline deal for my wedding, I was told that the process would be done before my wedding which was 9 months away, so I gladly handed the coupon over instead of returning it which I should have done. I do not have bad teeth, just wanted a slight alignment. I was slightly calmed by a sign they have on their front door that said they are Invisalign certified, boy was I fooled! The dentist had a "dental assistant" applying my bumpers (clear little cement dots that help the retainers fit and align your teeth), really not sure if an "assistant" is supposed to be doing such work but she was clearly not experienced and did not know what she was doing. First she put too much cement and it seeped between my teeth not allowing me to floss which is very important with Invisaligns. The dentist had to come in twice to put this saw like tool to clean it out, who knows if that has damaged my teeth but I needed a filling in the area since it has happened. She also dropped some glue on my face which burned and left a slight scare, no apologies. Wait there's more, she also burned my lip while holding the light gun they use to help the cement adhere to your teeth. I had to see a dermatologist since I did not want to see scares in my engagement pictures. They wanted to charge me to have my bumpers taken off for my wedding since the treatment was not finished, even though they told me it would be, so that is when I complained about the assistant. The office manager did not offer any apologies, took a look at my face and said I can't tell, you're fine and that I would have to pay for the removal and to have them put back on after the wedding. Other than that, the place appears clean and the front desk is nice but you can tell flustered. The office manager was rude and the inside staff seemed disgruntled. They make you feel like you're bothering them when you show up for an appointment, I feared when I sat in the chair sometimes.
