Took our car in for Axle/boot replacement. We left and heard a noise from stepping on brakes. Went back and they said it was the ABS sensor/ module and we needed to go to a dealer. Dealer pulled the axles (necessary to get to the ABS module and said the axles that were installed were installed damaged. The dealer said the damaged axels that were installed DID cause the ABS module to go out and we needed to not only replace the axles but also the ABS module for safety reasons. They gave us the parts to show Vern at Mid Vally Auto and explain to him the parts that were in stalled were damaged. Maybe he bought them that way who knows. Vern seemed more interested in how the dealer over charged us for new parts than acknowledging the issue with his company. He even said to us when we showed him the damaged parts that he installed " How do I know those our the parts we put in".. WHAT? He has yet to reach out to us in over a month as to a refund of some kind for what happened. Still waiting for him be make it right and take accountability for this issue. read more

I was experiencing a few problems with my vehicle. Took it in...clerk was very rude, when I talked, he wouldn't look at me or answer me! He did absolutely nothing on my car and charged me $137.82 ! This included $4.66 debit card fee, $2 for shop supplies and cleaners and $2 hazardous materials waste disposal. He didn't do anything to my fluids and I don't know what hazardous waste he is talking about! I had 9 issues to be addressed and he did nothing. His diagnosis was take it to the Fiat dealer! So what did I pay $138 for? Closest fiat dealer is in Vegas or Phoenix. I used to go there when Corky the owner was there but has since passed and the shop has gone to hell! Never go back. read more

I took my vehicle for a diagnostic test and the cost was $128. They told me what the problem was and I let them do the repairs. The total cost of repairs was close to $1000. I didn't look at the receipt at the time but when I did, I noticed that they did not remove the diagnostic fee. I took many of my vehicles to other mechanic shops and had them do the diagnostics and they never charged me for the diagnostic test if they did the repairs themselves. Do not take your vehicle there without full disclosure and check your quote for unnecessary charges before letting them do the repairs. read more

As you are know it's hotter than hell out here in Bullhead city... After $1700 and a year without air conditioning I finally quit my mechanic and went to Vern at mid Valley auto. Within 12 hours my air conditioning was ice cold he charged me 2/3 of the price the other certified mechanic charged me and I have not had a problem since. Since then he's also repaired my daughter's brakes had her tires changed and taken care of all of my mechanical needs. Brought my truck to hear for oil leak they replaced everything under the hood plus stole the high performance heads motor mounts had to be redone another . When i got it back it still leaked oil and the work was sloppy as hell . The second motor had a knocking sound as soon as I got it back . Fortunately the manufacturer agreed to replace the motor and discovered for some reason mid valley opened up the engine . They replaced the gaskets and were not the originals. This was so bad I sent everything to the state attorney general. read more

I was referred to Mid Valley by a collision repair shop. I had already taken my car to two different auto repair shops for mechanical problems I was having. My car was inconsistently starting and a brake warning light was intermittently coming on. Both places checked the battery, said it was fine and it was probably an electrical problem. I didn't trust either of them. I took it to Mid Valley they did an assessment and said battery is fine. The warning light was a loose connection, my battery was good and I needed a new starter. It would take about two hours. I had them do the work. I waited 3 hours and walked out to the bays to find my car unattended. I asked what was going on. I was told the battery had drained due to the key and radio being on.... duh three hours! Number 1 when a starter is being replaced the first thing you do is disconnect the battery. So no reason to drain battery! They then informed me that my battery would need to be replaced within two months and they could do it now for, of course more money! I asked why they had told me two days before my battery was fine. Mumbling about something was misdiagnosed, was the explanation. They would be happy to replace it for more money! Number 1 you cannot replace a starter without disconnecting the battery! So why was it drained? And why was I disrespected by them thinking I would buy this explanation and pay them more? They couldn't even be bothered to reset the clock etc. My battery is less than two year old. DO NOT TRUST THEM. read more

Please read the below posted review of A&G Towing and Auto King repair shop. I will be using Mid Valley in the future with no fear of being ripped off. They we very helpful and took care of my fan belt quickly. No maybe to day, maybe to morrow, maybe a bad pulley, we will see. Judge yourself. A&G Towing, a AAA Towing company, towed my pick up to Auto King. I had no knowledge at the time of where to bring my vehicle to for repairs, as we were passing thru. The driver said the best place for repairs is Auto King. It is right next door to A&G Towing. I found out from local people that there is 2 not 1 AAA towing company's. That AAA towing company's are to refer brake down to AAA approved garages. This makes sence. After that it is up to the driver/owner to direct. When we arrived at Auto King they said I needed to come in because I owed them money. I ended up taking my truck and paid them nothing, they did not do any work on my pick up. You decide read more

I was coming home from Lake Havasu City when I lost my transmission front pump seal just outside Needles Ca, not knowing where to tow my truck for repairs I started calling some of my local friends around the area and they told me to have it towed to Mid Valley Auto repair in Bullhead City about 30 miles from Needles. This was on a Monday evening fortunately I was able to borrow a car for my drive home back to Long Beach, Ca leaving my truck in the hands of a unknown repair facility. To say the least, it was a very pleasant and professional experience, fast service and reasonable pricing. I broke down about 2hrs outside of Bullhead City and had my car my car towed to Mid Valley on the advise of AAA as Mid Valley was on their list of dependable repair shops in the area. Although my car was running rough like a spark plug wire had come off or a spark plug had fouled out or perhaps the distributor cap since the car was running a little rough but running nonetheless. We dropped the car off at the garage and waited at the hotel for a call from the Mid Valley with the news of what the problem is. When they finally called, they told us that our car was done. The engine was blown and we had 2 dead cylinders. They only knew the cylinder number of one of the cylinders but couldn't tell me the cylinder number of the other "dead hole". Well, I almost followed the "advice" of Vernon at Mid Valley as he encouraged us to leave the car behind and just abandon it and they would find a salvage yard for it or I could pay $5,200 for a new engine and they'll put it in for me. Instead, we rented a large U-Haul truck with a car trailer and towed it back to San Diego so I could have a mechanic I know and trust look at it. Turns out, I didn't have a blown engine at all nor did I have 2 "Dead Holes" as they put it. I have a broken valve spring which is a $5.00 item! I almost left my car with them and walked away from it on their "advise" when my car didn't have a blown engine at all. My car is a classic Police Interceptor sedan with a police interceptor engine that is designed to last over 500,000 miles. This car has about 100,000 miles on it and runs smooth like an electric hybrid car and gets 23mpg! Bottom line is they were trying to convince me to leave them my car so they could keep it. Don't trust this garage at all!! read more

Came here because our truck was acting up on the way to Laughlin for a vacation. We though it could be something to do with the tranny and they came back saying they needed to replace Shocks and do alignment, costing over $1000. Went to drive home after getting all that replaced and it did the same exact thing as coming. The staff and owner were nice enough but I believe they took advantage of us since we were not locals and didn't seem to know much, especially after speaking to a friend with more knowledge of vehicles. Also, they never called like they indicated they would the next day when it would be ready, I had to call them twice and we ended up just waiting around because it was 2 hours after the time they should have it ready that they finally picked us up from the hotel. If ever in that position there again, I will be trying another shop. read more

When I asked why they wouldnt honor their warranty on a brand new battery only 1 year old the chubby kid got angry and rude and said to drive to the battery company corporate office in vegas and tell them. My poor dad who is 78 years old was stranded at McDonald's because his car wouldn't start. Mid Valley Auto Center came to tow my dad and instead of showing up by 11a like they said they would, they showed up at 1:30! Never called to let my dad know! And they are only 7 blocks or so from the McDonald's on HWY 95 & Hancock. My dad stood there for an extra 2.5 hours in 110 degree heat WAITING! The guy never apologized or anything. Very disappointed with the quality of work and replacement parts used for a simple repair of a heater hose. On vacation in Laughlin and had a broken heater hose brake at quick connector. Called Mid Valley and they stated they had the part, but couldn't give a price until job was looked at. A job that should've cost well under a hundred to a hundred and fifty bucks ended up costing $255, which is a total rip off by any means. They were sent by AAA when my battery died. They happened to bring a battery along which they installed for $125.00 It stopped working shortly thereafter. I complained to the owner, Corky and he ordered me out of his shop. I'm an elderly woman and he intimated me. I complained to AAA but they are still the towing service for AAA. read more

We had to have our fuel pump replaced, leak was massive. We had it towed here and were told by the shop manager Mr. Harmon it was going to be 730.00 to fix. Heres what happened to us there,,we were treated rudely,,information was with held from us,,our car experienced another,,MASSIVE FUEL LEAK,,only 7 days after we got it out of this shop,,then when we asked for our AAA discount the first visit,,we noticed on our billing from the second visit .were never given discount,when we brought it to the attention of MR HARMON ,,he lied to us and told us we got it on the first billing, it just didn't show,,but it was there, The bill was 730.00,,we asked for the discount to be deducted from our bill the second time back there, so,,MR. HARMON,,got out a calculator,,then printed out a new billing,,it showed a 10% discount of $30.06....but the bill still said 730.00...he had ADJUSTED THE LABOR ,,UP,,then took the 10% off,,we got nothing but treated badley,,never apologized for having to bring our car back 7 days later,,by the way,,the reason given for the fuel pump leaking,,again,,the NEW PUMP,,was defective,?? AVOID THESE PEOPLE,,S-H-A-D-Y!!! We tried to contact them through PM on FB,,they blocked us,,and we filed a complaint with the BBB,,they are ignoring us,,,we will be on every social media we can with this until they make it right. My truck broke down on a Sunday morning towing a large 5th wheel trailer. AAA sent tow trucks and handled my situation very well and recommended Mid Valley Auto Center since its an AAA approved shop. Mid Valley Auto immediately diagnosed the problem first thing Monday morning and called me with an estimate before noon. Since the vehicle had been worked on at another shop, we decided to tow it back to the town we live in, and pay Mid Valley for the work they had done.
