As a patient requiring frequent visits for blood work, and critical infusions, the efficiency and comfort of these visits are paramount to my ongoing care and well-being. All my experiences have been consistently characterized by excessively prolonged wait times, often extending two hours or more beyond my scheduled appointment times for both my physician and infusion therapy. This creates a deeply challenging and, frankly, disheartening situation, particularly given the already demanding nature of chemo treatments. A significant source of distress is the perception that patient safety and comfort, particularly for those with weakened immune systems like myself, are not being adequately prioritized. Being confined to crowded waiting areas for extended periods not only exacerbates physical fatigue but also presents a heightened risk of infection. The operational practices observed, such as seemingly pervasive overbooking and the resulting congestion in patient waiting rooms, strongly suggest that the current scheduling system is not effectively managing patient flow or capacity. This systemic inefficiency significantly detracts from the quality of care and transforms what should be a supportive and efficient medical environment into a source of considerable stress and anxiety. I am leaving MSK, Harrison and moving to an environment that is not only medically excellent but also compassionate, respectful of patient time, and prioritizes the safety and comfort of all individuals seeking care....unfortunately, this is not the place.

Current standard of care is to attend actively to distress. The staff and policies actually caused stress--switching doctors, iffy advice on taking hormone-related therapy for my hormone negative tumor, poor in-office communication. One doctor left work for the day before an appointment with no notice and on another day one didn't show up at all. I show up, no doctor, and no one explains what has happened and if I will get my treatment. On each of those occasions my BP reached at least 200/90. Is that good medical care?

New gleaming hardwood floors and extra room and furniture for guests. They have free valet parking for patients and a super comfortable waiting / lounge area with a piano player on occasion. I am here weekly/bi weekly & from the minute I pull up in my car & the valet guys or girls take my car to me walking in the door to the center, I feel the love, compassion & hope! We were sent by angels to Dr Howard Bruckner…read more. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable pancreatic cancer that spread to her liver. Her tumors are big & mostly in her liver. The oncologist we visited in other facilities were giving her very little hope. We were recommended to Dr Bruckner by Dr Schwartz (the head surgeon of oncology in Mount Sinai). Upon first meeting Dr Bruckner we felt we made the right choice. His experience & success rate with cancer (especially pancreatic cancer) made us feel we were in good hands. My mother's tumors are shrinking and her test get better and better. All the patients we speak to in the treatment room have improvements with their numbers as well. I can't stress enough how happy we are with Dr Bruckner's treatment. He thinks out of the box.. his cancer treatment is different from the rest. He produces positive results. My mother's blood test are proof she is recovering. I highly recommend this facility to anyone suffering from cancer. Not only is the doctor amazing..his entire staff works hard and diligent to make sure your stay there is quick and pleasant. My mother's nurse, Maribel, is one of the best! She's caring & always in high spirits.. she brings happiness where people need it the most. We love you Dr. Bruckner!
