When I hurt myself back in Feb and broke my ankle wrist but the big injury was both my knees. I was in bed for over 4 months. I did a lot of research and checked out 3 places. When I first started, I could barely walk with a walker. Coming 3 times a week for the last 4 months has made a world of difference. The best part is that the staff always has positive energy and jumps in to make sure you do all your sets to be in and out as fast as possible. ***BEWARE*** RUDE-LAZY STAFF!!!!! First time patient with verified referral from my primary. My primary physician gave me their contact info over the phone along with referral # advising me to contact them for an appointment. I have an actual hard copy of the referral at home but I was on the road. I spoke to MARIAH at Vargo (SCV) who is the utmost incompetent individual I have ever spoken with thus far. I mean if this is the face of your company and it's 11 locations and being Therapist owned, I highly suggest you reevaluate your staff immediately!!!!! Y I K E S ---Mariah advised me that the referral was not in the system and she would not be able to schedule the appointment. I offered the referral # to assist, she advised she is not able to look anything up especially because it's LA Care? I asked her if she could call the primary to verify, she advised unfortunately she would not be able to, I would have to do it myself. Mind you I just got off the phone with the with referral coordinator advising me it had been done but they would go ahead and fax it over again. I called back Mariah and advised it had been done, she said I don't see it in the system. I then asked what is the difference with me giving you the referral # over the phone opposed to the actual hard copy. She said CODES & I need to LOOK at it there are things I need to see before I can schedule an appointment. I've never had this problem before with any referral. I asked her again can you not just call? She said, what's the number and when WE call they don't give US any information, but what's the number. What? I wait she calls me back and asks what's their # again? I think I have the wrong # even asks me my name AGAIN. (WOW JUST WOW-3rd time) mind you I'm on the other line with my primary advising them of the problem I'm having just trying to make an appointment. They confirm yet again it's done, and advise me Mariah could have just called them. I'm sorry but if you can't get the basics down for something as simple as a phone call, especially when their recording says: they provide fast and courteous service, provide exceptional care to every client getting to personally know them beforehand!... Wait, W H A T! I received none of that! I WONT be going here, this is a BAD FIRST IMPRESSION! I cannot trust that they will take care of me the way they should be, and definitely do NOT trust them with my physical therapy needs and expectations. I called back to get the name of her supervisor and suggested she TRY to be patient friendly at least and suggested some pointers. She couldn't handle it, said I'm not comfortable speaking with you. Put me on hold and NEVER came back. I called back TWICE and they sent me to their answering machine. Quite immature might I add. This is a business!! It was 5:12 and we had been going back and forth since 4:45! Mariah said they close at 5:30, yet their website says 7:00??? I NEED my appointment it's crucial to MY situation. I have NO problem with process & protocol and provided all the requirements?! FOR GOD SAKES DO YOUR DAMN JOB!!! Did I add this call was a follow up call as I had left them a voicemail during their lunchtime with all the pertinent info to make it smooth. I advised her of that as well, made no difference to her. Not even an apology. On the contrary she tried to talk over me, like it was my fault throughout this conversation . All I asked was for her to provide a solution for something "I" did all the legwork on! This MUST be / IS poor management, I mean she's learning it from someone. AGAIN BAD FACE FOR A BUSINESS PLACE! I called today 6/26/24. I was told there were no appointments until September 11, 2024!!! Over two months!! At first I thought she misspoke. I confirmed the date, she said that's right!! I don't understand. Maybe my insurance? I don't know, but that is unacceptable. I'm in pain and my says PT is necessary. I will contact Facey and let them know they are referring to people who don't care. When I said I couldn't wait I would have to look elsewhere, she said "okay, bye". Could be more professional. They need to make sure the clients are doing their exercises correctly it is easy to To do them incorrectly. They should be more aware of when the client finishes their exercise. read more

Not a great place to go to if he need physical therapy they don't seem like they take care of you.

I had to come back to do PT on my neck this time for my headaches. They did happen to change locations, which I can say is way better. It's in a better location and it seems bigger, but it just has more space to move around. Same great team, with new assistant. They treat you with respect and ask questions concerning your pain, and make sure to talk with them about anything going on so they give you the best help to healing quickly. read more

I have been to physical therapy in the past but Vargo Physical Therapy is, by far, the BEST. The staff are exceptionally helpful, encouraging, etc. Brando and she is have helped me through the exercises and make sure I do them properly! Tore my calf tendons in September my doctor recommended this place. They where very friendly in the beginning of my therapy. But after time they where less and less attentive to my needs. Then I called to cancel appointment because I was called to work and ask them to call me back to make appointment. That was 2 weeks ago and no call back, they don't care. Your just a $ sign there and they don't have time to waste on you. Don't recommend this place !!! read more

I was told they ran my insurance and cash, out of pocket payments would be $75 for first session, and $60 for each session thereafter. I paid each session and just received a bill for over $200. They never once told me those were estimates. Careful what you sign there because they will make it seem like the payments are already approved by your insurance and then you will receive a surprise bill which they will do nothing about. After numerous injections and multiple tries with medication my back pain was so overwhelming that I was ready to try nearly anything. I do not like using painkillers because of the way they make me feel. I asked my pain management doctor what else I could try. He sent me to Vargo for physical therapy. Within a few treatments the pain lessened but i was also doing my part with daily exercises as prescribed by the Vargo team. Love love love the Vargo PT in Valencia. When I transitioned from home PT to this facility I was in a bad way. I was using a walker with my right leg dragging. Recovering from TKR with multiple brakes in that same leg I was uncertain if I would regain my independence. I had never been in PT, so I was skeptical of what this team could do to help my condition. Working with this team, I regained my independence and my functionality so much better than I ever could have imagined. My son is a competitive tennis player and unfortunately broke his elbow and required surgery to put a plate in his arm. We were not sure he would ever be able to play tennis again let alone play at the level he was playing before the injury. So glad I got to go here... these people are incredible, they understand and treat each patient as an individual. they want you to get better. My pain management suggested I try physical therapy. I went to this location, I am a fit young female who works out daily. As expected this office gave me beginners stretches to supposedly fix my issues even though I mentioned I had done the same moves earlier that day. The therapist that did the assessments was pleasant and knew what she was talking about. The first assistant that came to direct me with stretches had absolutely no personality and was extremely rude (young hispanic male with glasses). Not something I'm going to deal with from some young kid. Another assistant replaced him fairly quick after the first one walked away like a stubborn child, this guy was friendly and knew how to explain things. I would never visit this office again even if my visit wouldn't have been a complete waste of my time. They wasted 70% of my visit with pointless stretches, gave me a 5-minute deep massage that was what I actually needed... and ended with some ice. If you've never worked out a day in your life this place might be for you. read more
