The guy behind the counter was extremely disrespectful at one point laughing at me when I stated I would simply hangout till the job was completed. He than explained this simple four wire installation would take 3 hours to install. His excuses was a relay needs to be installed (a relay consists of 4 wires 5 at most) After I explained to him that I am a mobile mechanic and have knowledge base behind the install he then got very disrespectful going as far as calling this "entire conversation ridiculous". Clearly this company does not care one bit about their customer service. I would advise any other towing / Mechanic shop in Albany Oregon.

This is a BMW with complex electrics, and good security measures. He arrived promptly and did an amazing job, including locating the charging lugs once the car was opened and the hood up (battery is in the rear). Something was wrong with my starter, which I had never heard of, so he popped the hood to show me. Even though he did not know where the starter was in the make and model of my car he helped me look for it and explained what it did. I think car repair companies get a lot of negative reviews on Yelp because, frankly, repairing cars is expensive and it's easy to feel crummy! Don't let the less than perfect score on Yelp deter you, it seemed to me that the workers of Bob's Auto Repair are honest and considerate.
