Luis was our technician he was professional and great to work with. He came out replaced the panel. The first panel that LG sent was defective had clusters of dead pixels. They orderred another panel and a few days later Luis was back and the second panel is looking good. I would call them up for any TV related issue moving forward in or out of warranty. read more

We have a 6 month old LG OLED that we bought from Costco that started projecting a wide vertical band. Since we are well past the 90 Day Return Policy, we had to file a claim with LG for a defective unit. After submitting the warranty repair request online, Eddie from Mid-Valley TV messaged me to inform me that they were assigned the claim. I had sent him pictures of the issue and he informed me it would take a few days to receive the replacement part. Within a couple of days he messaged me again to try to schedule an appointment. Saturdays were hard to book and cannot be confirmed until the day before, so it was a couple of weeks before I could schedule the repair around my work schedule. I ended up taking a first appointment on a Friday morning instead. Luis showed up on time after calling ahead. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He did his assessment including pictures of the banding, informed me of the process to get LG approval, and started to dismantle the TV. He was methodical and worked efficiently to swap out the 65" display. After putting it back together, I helped him remount the TV and he made sure to test the display and sound. The whole process took about 30mins -- arrived at my door at 9:15am, out at 9:48am. That said, I feel good about the service, especially when covered by the manufacturer's warranty. read more

I was having trouble with the WiFi connection on my LG OLED tv and was referred to Mid Valley by LG. Mid Valley sent out a technician but he was unable to duplicate the problem and said he would get in touch with LG. LG then contacted me directly to say that a repair part had been ordered and had arrived. LG followed up a couple of times to see if my repair had been performed. As of more than two months after the original visit the repair had not been done. I then called Mid Valley to see what was going on. They had not heard that LG had my part and proceeded to tell me that the part likely would not fix my problem but did say they would order the part, which LG already had, and would replace it, under the condition that I agree that the part was ok even if it didn't fix the problem. They offered no sensible explanation for what they thought the problem actually was but gave me a nonsense analogy about using my mesh router with the TV was like putting diesel fuel in a gas car. Not helpful. Then they refused to replace the part if I was going to complain that LG had a problem with the TV other than the WiFi part in question. The conversation degenerated from there ending with me hanging up. All in all a very unsatisfactory interaction over a legitimate problem that LG seemed to be trying to help with. Mid Valley was unhelpful, confrontational and talked to me like I was a moron. I really can't recommend these guys, though your mileage may vary. read more

After contacting LG about my OLED tv with a screen burn issue they referred my case to Mid Valley TV. A new screen was ordered and within a week the screen came in and a repair appointment was scheduled. Eddie called me twenty minutes before his arrival and was very helpful in assisting me to take down the tv from the wall. Quickly, he got the back removed from the tv and realized that a retrofit cable was not packaged with the new screen. This was needed due to a design change. He got the cover back on and we hung it back on the wall. A new appointment was made and in two business days I had Luis at my door. He was just as helpful. I was so amazed how efficient he was at changing the screen. It's like watching a brand new tv all over again. Just a great company to deal with. read more

CCC Mid Valley TV and Electronics appears to be Asurion's sole service provider in southern California. My Sony OLED TV began to dim compared to a few months ago, so I filed a claim with Asurion. I've been told to contact this company to arrange for a repair. After two claims with Asurion, there was still no resolution. The technician on the phone (Edward or Eddie) was combative and appeared incompetent to document what they were doing with the television. He told me that my issue was caused by normal use, but he can't even articulate that on the service ticket that they gave to Asurion. If you have a choice, request a different service provider from your insurance company to save yourself the trouble. The two technicians who came to my house to pick up and deliver my television were prompt and professional, but it is unfortunate that they are overshadowed by an incompetent technician with whom they work. read more

I went through LG's warranty department and ended up with Mid Valley TV by a stroke of good luck. My tech was Luis, and he was AMAZING!!! He was courteous, professional, and quick. Most importantly, though, there was some error in the paperwork and he called LG, stayed on the line, got the approval fast tracked, finished fixing my OLED (which, let's face it, with the state of the world, is critical) and had my TV kicking ass again! When I called to confirm, they claim they had a different phone number for me and although I had a confirmed appointment through SquareTrade and they had my address, they did not show up and would not honor appointment. I was sent to this company by LG to do a warranty repair. I will echo what others have said - they are dishonest about their representations of communications, as they are incapable of scheduling an appointment and want to do everything last minute. When my schedule didn't revolve around them, the owner, Edward, wrote to essentially threaten he would tell LG and not do service. When I sent him the texts that contradict Edward's contentions, he then insisted he would only schedule an appointment if I personally called him on his personal cell. I don't know if that is so there is no written record to contradict a lie or just plain creepy. I went back to LG and they set up an appointment with one of their own certified techs. I am having some issues with my 10 month old LG tv. After multiple calls with the LG customer support line (they suck too btw), they finally said they would have someone come out to look at my television. LG says they will send out a certified LG repair company and mentions Mid Valley TV and Electronics. Being the inconvenient people that they are, LG mentions that I am only allowed to set up and confirm appointments 3 days in advance. Since like most normal people, I have a job and cannot be there on a weekday from 8 am to 12 pm, I made an appointment for the following Saturday and was told to call the 3 days before to confirm my appointment. Jump to today, when I call to confirm my appointment: Mid Valley TV: "Sorry but according to your file you did not confirm with any of the phone messages we left you so your appointment has been terminated". Me: "I'm sorry , what phone messages..what file?" Mid Valley TV: "We left you numerous messages confirming your appointment and you never called back" Me:" Um..I have no clue what you are taking about...I am pretty sure you guys never called me" Mid Valley TV: "The file says we did, you will need to speak to a LG supervisor" Wow..just like that huh? Considering that I rearranged and inconvenienced 3 other people I am going on vacation with all for this stupid appointment...I am pretty sure I would react to a phone call from you Mid Valley TV. Bottom line: I NEVER received a single message from these people. Not a missed call, not a phone message, not an email. And what makes me even more upset is that they had no apologies, no way of rectifying the situation..they just threw me back over to LG. After only 14 months our 47" LG TV started developing dark cloudy spots on the screen. LG Customer Service was awesome and offered to replace the panel even though it was out of warranty. We were referred to Mid Valley TV and Electronics for the repair service. From the initial contact to the final repair, Mid Valley TV and Electronics was fantastic! Daisy in the office was professional and efficient. The technicians that came out to our home in Oceanside (North San Diego County) were very polite, respectful of our home, and extremely competent at making the repair. The technicians were meticulous, removed all of the packing material, and even made sure our swivel chairs were put back exactly where they were originally, leaving no trace. I'm an electrical engineer, and also have a home service business. I appreciate skilled technicians who work hard and are on time, and who respect my home. Seldom do we come across such conscientious service people. The TV now works like new! We are very impressed with LG Customer Service and their partners at Mid Valley TV and Electronics. We were referred to CCC/Mid Valley TV as a Warranty Repair Service for a 2017 LG OLED TV. The panel had one vertical row of dead pixels. I was proactive about contacting them as LG had screwed up with a previous work order. LG had sent the repair order to a company which was no longer in business. The receptionist who answered the phone was very helpful and had all the information on hand with answers to all my questions. She also requested pictures of the TV showing the damage so they could pre-order any parts they might need. I was able to email the info and received a reply stating they had received the pictures. I called the next day and they said they had used the pictures to order a whole new display panel and would let me know when it arrived. I called again a couple days later but only because LG was sending appointment dates and times when I had set everything up with Mid Valley. The receptionist assured me the parts would arrive soon and they would schedule an appointment. The next day, Friday, the parts arrive and they setup a morning appointment for the following Monday. They said the technician would call when he was 20-30 minutes from my home. When Monday morning came, the technician called just as they said he would. I met him at my house and after a quick verification of the failed screen, and a phone call to LG to receive approval, he replaced the display with a brand new unit. The technician was very nice and accommodating, as he let my four kids watch him work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the response and service I received from Mid Valley TV. I would guess that warranty work isn't the best paying job, however everyone I interacted treated me as through my project was their top priority. I cannot speak to other's experiences, though I would venture that most people are treated with the same level of courtesy and respect which they first treat those who are serving them. Just had Edward over to replace my screen and a module in my LG OLED TV that was years past warranty and it was the most pleasant and informative experience I've had in many a year. Turns out it was a faulty command module that runs pixel correcting program (among others) that cures burn in. Edward has those rare qualities of politeness, knowledge, technical know-how, proficiency, and customer service that I've haven't seen lately. They need to pay him more . Heck, he wouldn't even take a tip! This was like Christmas coming early for me. A brand new screen and processor and all I had to pay for was the labor. I'm buying only LG from now on since they're covering defaults in their product way past warranty. Who does that anymore? That processor also runs the audio and it's even better than before as well. The picture is so much better and the screen has a smoother texture to it as well. This is not some refurbished unit. If anyone needs something repaired, even if you have to pay for it, go with Mid Valley TV as they know what they're doing and they do quality work. Edward went to great lengths to explain things to me that cleared up a lot of my misunderstanding of how TVs and Cable companies operate. He's the best. read more
