This Midas has an amazing staff! They were extremely efficient and attentive to detail. I needed 4 new tires and brakes and a brake flush and alignment & I found out that morning! The car was ready with a full set of new tires, new brakes, new rotors, wheels aligned and brake flush done that afternoon. Awesome job and very friendly service. I highly recommend this shop. I do not recommend this location- I spoke to Jesse over the phone about the issue with my car & she said they'd definitely be able to help. This was not the case when I got there- they will not service your vehicle if you do not allow them to complete every recommendation ($$$) Do not waste your gas or lunch break like I did. Jesse was rude, abrupt, and smiled sarcastically when I told her I did not have the funds for all of the services. There was zero compassion or even a discussion about what other options they had, while mostly everyone is struggling financially at the moment. read more

Brought vehicle in for service on 8-26-24. The next day, when I picked up the vehicle, I noticed two hubcap centers had been destroyed and the tire pressure sensor did not work. I called Midas and they told me to bring the vehicle back and admitted they did in fact damage the hubcaps and that I should order new ones, and they would reimburse me. Midas then attempted to reset the tire sensor but kept insisting that I would need to bring it back at a later time. They would not give me an appointment time. They also told me I paid too much for the hub caps and would need to "send them back." After about a week I got the sensor repaired at a dealership at my own cost. To date Midas has offered to reimburse me for the hubcaps but refuses to reimburse me for the sensor stating that the reason it failed was simply a coincidence. I do not recommend doing business with this location. It cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket to have them work on my car plus the cost of repairs. Still no resolution. I went for an oil change and my husband needed his AC and window checked. Midas was quick, efficient, and very helpful. Romi was helpful, attentive, and answered all questions. Went for estimate on exaust system for 2015 murano. Car was taken in right away as I had appointment. 2 employees stares at computer screen for hours asking each other questions & making phone calls. Did not install confidence at all. $6000.00 quote given, I declined & went to rainbow muffler in largo. Quick service $1500.00 quote for same job. Shame on you midas for trying to rip off a disabled senior. YOU SUCK!!! read more

I had to stop by in a panic when my tire warning light was on with 25 lbs. air pressure. I pulled into my neighborhood Midas and met John, the owner, who was great and said he would put air in my tire free. He wanted to look at the tire and there was a big nail thing in there. He recommended removing tire, patching it from the inside and then balance tire and back on. I really appreciated his care. The store is so clean. When I drove by the other day I saw all the guys outside cleaning the parking lot, painting areas in the parking lot. I told John I noticed it and it looked very nice. I was not surprised when I went into the restroom and it was spotless (this is a garage/grease man's world environment). That was so refreshing. I would recommend this shop due to the care they give in appearance and for the wonderful customer service I received. I will be back. Thanks John and team. read more

I have to say John and his team were Awesome. I pulled in thinking I was going to need an alternator or a power steering pump or both. His crew looked under the hood and immediately saw my problem was broken belts. What a relief that will be a lot less than the other things I thought. His team had face masks on, even when we were outside looking at my car. They were very professional, got my car right in and started to work on It. The lobby and work area were clean and I was even offered a complimentary water. I am Very pleased with the quality of work and how efficient they were. Since I've owned my car (9 years), I've complained to many different mechanics about the rough and noisy ride.... solutions have always been struts, brakes and tires, but it never took care of the rough and noisy ride. I wandered into Midas and the tech took a test drive and diagnosed the problem, I should say problems. I was given an estimate and given the order of importance for repair. Highly recommend this shop! Just had my front break pads and rotors replaced. They didn't try to sell me things I didn't need, they were fairly priced and even helped me find a coupon to save some extra money. Once I had been given a quote for the work, Gary found a couple small parts that were worn out and threw them in for free! Only $30 value but still! Most places would try to add that to the bill. Delivered a part as a Postmate's driver a few months back from an AutoZone that was 30 minutes away from their location. I delivered the product successfully then as I got in my car to pull away they realized they didn't need the product anymore so the manager runs out to my car and throws the part in and says "we don't need this anymore return it". By the way, the product was 8$. And they were kind enough to tip me 1$ for the hour round trip both ways! If I ever need anything done to my car I will not be dealing with them. read more

Come here. No doubt. I went in for a rotation and balance, about $85.00 or so, and was happily informed that I didn't need the rotation. The balance job was well done and the little shimmy between 59 and 72 mph went away. Happy to return for an oil change and next time, the standard free rotation. I took my car in for a routine oil change and a free a/c check. Luckily my car just needed a wire repair to get the a/c working again. They fixed it right then and I drove away with ice cold air conditioning. They did give me estimates on other recommended services and were not pushy at all. I have taken my car to Midas 4 times now and spent over 2,000 dollars at Midas have called off of work and rented car rentals from enterprise because of this location and the work they're doing to my car. I've been having the WORST Experiences with Midas!!!!! Paid 580$ for my breaks and roaders and it's like they've never been fixed and I thought I had an oil leakage so I took my car in AGAIN since I had warranty on my breaks I wanted them to redo the breaks and see if it was my oil leak... I also tell them hey please look over my car good and if you find any problems go ahead and work on the car I don't care about the cost. They eventually told me I had a issue with water pump and cooling and oil leakage so they had to keep my car to order all the new parts... then I get my car out of the shop about two days later my car sounds like it's about to break down and fall apart .. OH AND MY BREAKS ONCE AGAIN SOUNDED AND FELT HORRIBLE!!!!! So I take it back and Midas says to me, "oh it looks like the guy that worked on your car is no longer with us he quit and opened up his own shop so he didn't have good intentions and put on an old water pump and didn't do it right..... so once again my car was in shop for that and breaks so I had to get another rental.......now once again here I am backing up my car slowly out of firehouse subs and my car sounded so loud again going to break down and 1 minute later I hear a metal drop from my car onto the road.... I park it and look and it's everything that holds the belt and the Polly water pump on the ground!!!!!! This has to be a joke I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY the professionalism is a fucking joke!!!!! I then bring it to Firestone and they tell me that Midas never fixed my oil leak problem and they never even changed my oil like I paid for. All the time and money I spent here was a waste of life do yourself the biggest favor in the world and please listen to my story and go somewhere else!!!!! read more

Most excellent. Been to the Midas on E. Bay near US 19 in Clearwater twice (11/2014 & 07/2015) for routine oil change & whatever else might ail my 2005 Toyota. Both times I received competent, courteous, cost effective & professional auto care & customer support. As a senior female, I appreciated being treated with respect & concern for my automotive maintenance needs & my personal financial limitations. These guys are simply the best.
