After many excuses from the front desk on why they couldn't service my 2500 GMC (which they have serviced in the past) I went to mavis and I was able to get tires rotated, oil changed and fuel filter changed for 400 dollars less then the quote I was giving by this Midas before I showed up and was refused service. So glad Midas didn't do the service. I saved 400 dollars and have a better mechanic shop! Thank you for sucking Midas! Good riddance! read more

Drove over 20 miles to a specific location with the understanding there'd be an oil change and tire rotation. I confirmed it when the appointment was made and confirmed again when I dropped the vehicle off. Upon pickup, I asked about the tire rotation and was told it couldn't be done for some (*insert corporate excuse*) reason. So I asked if the rate would be discounted since there was no tire rotation done, and I was told that's not how it works. So I got screwed, could've gotten a mediocre oil change much closer to my house. Please verify ALL services at this location before leaving a car with them. I won't be back. read more

My A/C was in need of repair and I went to Midas because they offer a Flex pay program and is the only reason they get 2 stars. It is a nice program if you don't want to dish out $1500 to $2000 for repairs on a car you paid $2000 for. At first it went well then not so much. Took them over a week to do my AC and put a new strut on. I would go there every few days to check out the progress and I noticed at one visit my radiator hose looked flat. Think of how a plastic straw looks and now picture it after you put a 5lb weight on it. It looked like a pancake radiator hose (see pictures.) On pickup day I go to leave and about 5 min later my car starts shaking horribly. Honestly felt like it was going to shake itself apart. I turned around and brought it back. They took it for a spin and said it feels sluggish but other than that normal. Well with a quick google research I found that my car has an anti theft system installed that when triggered will shut down key electrical systems to cause exactly what was happening. I did what the instructions said and fixed it myself but with no help from Midas. They thought I was crazy, until I fixed it. I understand it gets busy, and they won't know every issue or problem and how to solve it instantly, I do on the other hand believe and know that their QA/QC procedures are lacking and if proper ones were implemented, would easily have solved it and honestly would solve even the most peculiar and difficult of problems. I'm sure Midas has a fancy go-to system where they can plug in issues and the computer spits back solutions but often those are outdated and the guides difficult to understand. It's always good to have a in house guide for the mechanics. Maybe they had an off day or maybe their mechanic was not in a good mood and was over-worked. (Very common) Regardless it falls on the management to solve problems and not sweep them under the rug hoping it won't be an issue later which it most always will. Hence my review. HEY MIDAS, HIRE ME AND IN 90 days time I would have that shop running like a well oiled machine. Then copy and paste my methods at other locations making small adjustments to fit that shops culture and setup. read more

Do not bring your car here. Everyone that was over charged and posted a negative review on here has a reason to complain and I'm one of them. The manager lied to me on the phone and lied again to an investigator with a completely different lie. The so called owner will post his contact info on here to make it seem that he's trying to work things out but I've noticed that no one has updated their negative review to show that this business made any effort at all to correct any over charges. I have three written estimates that show a cost that is one fourth of what this Midas store charged me for the exact same job. One was from another Midas store! To the owner, don't play games and post your contact info here, pretending to care. You have my info (which is not my title on here). When you make things right with me, I will update this review. I'll be watching on here for your response. Update: I just received the same response that's sent to everyone else. I specifically said not to send me a canned response, this only shows that you truly do not care about your customers. So there you have it everyone, buyer beware! Again, to the owner that keeps giving a canned response, stop telling me you'll fix your mistake when you don't mean it. Call me and fix it! I have now received a third canned response from the owner indicating they are not serious about fixing this price gouging issue they have. Had to get a couple of things fixed after neglecting my car for a few months. I needed three new tires, my alignment was terrible, my ac was blowing hot, and I had a engine light on for months. Well the process was not as bad as I was expecting, it was actually enjoyable. The gentleman in the front was handling a bunch of phone calls, walk ins, and I guess calling customers back with part prices and such. Well he handled it with a great attitude and was super efficient and friendly. He explained everything super detailed and tried to find me the best prices and deals. Based on the customer service experience, this is not the place I would take my cars. Last week I sent an email through the website requesting an estimate for to alignment and transmission oil change. A couple of days later, I got a message asking to make an appointment for the services. So, no estimate provided. Today I decided to give them a call. Scott answered the phone and put me on hold for a couple of mins, which is understandable. After he came back to the line, I told him I was calling to find out the price for to an alignment and transmission oil change, and he just hung up. I am new to this area and I was trying to find a new place where I can take my 3 cars for maintenance work. If this is how they handle first interactions with customers, I am certainly not taking my cars to this location. There are plenty of places in the area. This is definitely not "speedee" took 50 minutes, after my car was lifted, for a conventional oil change. Had an offer from this location for a 20 dollar oil change with a car wash and vacuum, but they said they don't do that. 5 stars all the way around. Great customer service, professional, and understanding. I went in for an oil change, i was in and out within 45mins. As a courtesy they did a visional brake and tire inspection. Plus topped off my fluids(brake, transmission, etc). If they find anything wrong they will let you know but they do not preesure you into buying anything you dont want. Kudos to Kenya and the entire staff for Excellent Service!!! read more

Pros: Really experienced employees who really care about their customers, pretty big shop with lots of equipment, decent location, pretty easy to dash in and out (depending on what you're getting done), they're up front and (to my knowledge) honest. Cons: Pricey (it cost me $80 to get two headlights replaced- 17.50 per light and 37 for "labor" (it took him fifteen seconds to put them in after I waited an hour for someone to deliver them)) I guess really, my complaint is price. If he would have just given me the bulbs I would have put them in myself, but oh well? I mean, my car is road worthy again, and I know that if I have a problem and go back to these guys they'll make it right, which is a good feeling, but even so...$37 for fifteen seconds worth of work? I don't understand how people feel okay at night know they do they... :/ read more

Joe wasn't there this time and I was up sold so hard. It was very disappointing. The oil change wasn't bad (about $20), but they strongly advised that I get a headlight restoration kit done. I wasn't going to do it until he advised that it was a lifetime warranty and that I can come back in anytime and they'll fix it up, no charge. I bought in and that kicked up the bill from $20 to $80. I would have been fine with that, but Dennis put all of my information in my brother's record and placed the warranty on his car and not mine. He tried to play it off like it was nothing, but that just bothered me more since I essentially had no record of coming there and getting any work done on my car. I had him change everything in the end, but it was just very annoying and stressful this time around. I didn't feel like I was getting honest service. So I agree with Nicole, price is a big factor, but I'm starting to question the honesty of this location as well. read more

Ultimately, they were not able to fix our particular problem and we had to take our car elsewhere, but they did NOT charge us despite the fact that they spent time and man power helping us with our issue. I have never felt pressured for an upsale, and in many cases they've looked for alternative routes that were affordable, fair, and fixed the problem. Got a great discount on a full fuel service and oil change. Wait wasn't too long and the staff were friendly. Great for basic car maintenance especially if you aren't a fan of waiting for hours like I usually would do at the dealership. I got a fuel service cleaning as well as an oil change and I was in and out in under an hour. Not sure if it was because they were having a slow day or if they are always that fast but the fast efficient service was definitely appreciated. Absolutely the biggest rip off there is charged my daughter 1,600.00 for brakes and rotors for a volkswagon tourag. 1.5 hours of work. The most expensive brakes and rotors I could find are 500.00 for the parts. I was told all the sensors are shot and they would be 156.00/ each to replace. The sensors are 11.00 apiece. Stopped them before they got her deeper. I am having the car examined by another volkswagon dealer to determine if I will take action against this ripoff. I can't tolerate people who rip off young girls because they don't know better. Took my F150 in for dual exhaust replacement, instead of 90 degree with chrome tip they do about 40 degree with chrome tip. The lady at the desk was exceptional. I will chalk this visit up to communication I should have spoken with the person doing the install before agreeing to the work. DO NOT RECOMMEND. SCAM ALERT. This is the second time they had tried to rip me off, even after speaking to not only the manager, but the owner as well. Got the price of the oil change before I dropped off my vehicle, which had other work that needed to be done on it as well. The full synthetic oil change was fairly inexpensive at $60, but the up charge on the parts and labor for the additional work needed on my car was outrageous. They wanted higher then dealership prices and attempted to up charge me $170 for a part I bought at the advanced auto parts store right down the street for $90, and another one they tried to charge me $190 for a part I bought for $130. On one occasion, I had a nail in my tire and the honest technician came in and told me the nail had not gone all the way through & I was good to go! I was not charged one cent! Got my very own first car and it was driving fine for months. I started having trouble getting the engine started so I decided to take it here since they seemed professional. Midas tells me I need a new battery along with a ton of other things, and in the end it cost me $1000. It drove fine for a week before it started having starting problems again. So I take it back to Midas and they tell me I need to buy a new engine for around $1500-2000. I couldn't believe it so I took my car to a little momNpop car shop and they told me it just needed a part replaced that costs less than $50. After that the car was driving great, no problems getting started or anything. Be careful about these people. If your like me and don't know cars, take your car to other places if Midas says you need something drastic or expensive done to your car. Chances are they are just trying to rip you off. read more
