    went to midas and they wanted 1800.00 to replace my exhaust. went on ebay bought the whole system under 500.00 had it put on for 60.00

I was only waiting for maybe 60 seconds before a gentleman came and checked me in. I explained my situation with having a nail in my tire but not wanting to purchase 4 tires since it's an AWD. Gentleman went over all the things that they'll look for to just do a tire repair and not have to replace. He also said they'd check to make sure they could just do the 1 tire before doing anything if the tire couldn't just be repaired. Perfect! Ends up being the gentleman that helped me wasn't even working that day and was just being nice and helped me sooner so I didn't have to wait in line. A+ customer service. They ended up being able to repair my tire so no replacements. I think this shows a legit community business that didn't try to push the most expensive route and instead just did the right thing. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

No big deal...the person I spoke to was knowledgable enough on the subject, and easier to understand than many foreign customer service reps. I was specifically asked if I would be dropping off my car or waiting while the work was performed. I said waiting, because it should be a quick job. I arrived a few minutes early today only to be told by an employee (who I think was the manager on duty) that they were only taking drop-offs because the wait would be at least 2.5 hours. I thought he misunderstood, so I clarified that I had an appointment, to which he rudely replied 'so do a lot of other people', and something about being short staffed. He also blamed the "A-rab's" (his pronunciation) that work at the call center for the scheduling problem. Throughout the whole interaction he never apologized and was downright rude to me, as if I was the unreasonable one for expecting to have my service done at the appointed time. I should also mention that I received no less than three text reminders about what time my appointment was, but no effort was made to inform me that it couldn't be honored. I was told I could bring my car back at 2:30, which I initially agreed to, but then re-thought. Called up another local shop that got me in right away and charged less than the last time I had this service at Monro. Will never be going to Monro again!

    I wanted to be far to this company as the saga did finally come to a conclusion. I went in and…read morethey did the right thing and replaced the tires and only charged me the portion of the tire that I didn't use (not sure if that makes sense). My only real complaint at this point is the fact that when I got the new tires the sound I had been complaining about all along went away! So all these BS and it was a bad tires all along. Now one might say, well then why wouldn't I have got new tires for free? I called and didn't get a great answer to that, but left it alone. The reason I am still giving them 4 stars is because the people are very nice and they really do bend over backwards to make sure you are happy.

Paid $500 for sensors two weeks ago and my engine light went on and they told me to come in the next day they looked at the car for a half hour told me exactly what I told them what was wrong that the connector wasn't put on correctly and five minutes into driving it after they gave it back to me a second time, the engine light went back on, and I called and told him I was bringing the car back and they wanted to give me another appointment for the next day where I proceeded to yell saying that it wasn't done right the first time and now the second time and they want me to come back for a third time! They clearly do not know what they're doing and they do not provide their selves on any type of customer service! Please don't go here!

I ran the pump which had signed in and confirmed my loyalty discount at .10 a gallon for regular gas. I only use regular in my car. I filled up over 16 gallons and looked at the price of $71.44 !!! Shocked I discussed with Wally at counter, he said nothing he can do. You must've hit the wrong buttons. Come back tomorrow and talk to the owner. So I did. He said maybe the hose hit the premium button when you dragged it to the car? That happens sometimes. I said no... the pump confirmed my loyalty discount at $3.39 a gallon and THEN I filled up. He said well there's nothing I can do... you got premium gas and we can't take it out of the tank. Wish I could do more! I said I am not the guy that wants to screw you out of 17.00 in gas money, you have a glitch on pump 5. I won't be coming back to this station because you don't seem to mind screwing me for that $17.00 gas money. Anyone else have this happen to them at this station? I mean, a small gesture of acknowledgement that I was telling the truth could have changed the outcome here. But my weekly fills at that station have come to a final and screeching halt. Buyer beware.

    Would've put 0 stars if I could, I went to Sid's auto "repair" a few years ago because my truck was…read moremisfiring and I couldn't figure out the problem for the life of me, they looked at it and said I need a new engine because "there's metal shavings in your oil" i didn't believe it for a second and little did they know I grew up wrenching on cars so I went home drained the oil and not a spec of metal in the oil or the oil filter, few weeks later I went to Jeff's automotive and they found out it was just a bad lifter on cylinder seven charged me 100$ to fix it, I've now put over 25 thousand miles on my "blown engine" and not a single problem since, all they want to do is drain every penny out of you and not actually FIX THE PROBLEM!, I hope they hired some better mechanics since then if not I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this shop.

I called Sid's and they told me it would be $40 for a diagnostic check, so I said sure and brought my car in about a day or two later. They took about 4 hours to get back to me after the 1 hour diagnostic they ran. They told me what the issue was with my vehicle, then proceeded to tell me the total for my diagnostic check would be $150. I told them that I was told the diagnostic would be $40 and they said: "Alright we can get it down to $80, how does that sound?". I wasn't going to continue going back and forth with the guy so I said screw it and paid the $80. I ended up buying the parts I need for the repair for $200 on Amazon and called Sid's back to get a quote on just the labor. I was put on hold and when they came back to the phone I was told that they would call me RIGHT back but they never did. I called 15 minutes before they closed and the shop was already closed for the day. All in all, they tried charging me $850 plus tax and fees for parts & labor for a job I only had to pay $250-$300 for with parts & labor. These guys suck and will try to clam you out of every penny if you don't know any better.
