I made an appointment for an alignment here this past weekend. WHAT A JOKE. Desk man, being a salesman, thought I was an idiot girl driving a truck and knew nothing. Told me i had "warn out parts" because my trac bar and front end linkages were moving. THEY ARE ON HEIM JOINTS. they are supposed to move. i somehow held myself together without ripping this man a new one politely said thank you and left. 01/28/25 I went to the Midas on St. Joe Ave location in Evansville, IN for a front-end alignment for some new tires I purchased. I was told after 30 minutes of waiting they could not complete the front end alignment due to items that needed attention on the front end of my car. I was told I needed both Lower Control Arms replaced, both In Tie and Outer Rod Ends replaced before they could align the tires. Total Estimated cost with labor and discounts would be $1,465.00. I never noticed any problems with Control Arms or any other noises before this visit so I took my car to my local Honda Dealer (with a mechanic I trust). The only thing I ended up needing was one Control Arm (replace of bushing). The other Control Arm and In Tie and Outer Rods Ends were fine. Total Cost to repair this at that Dealer (which is usually higher) with labor was about $600. Good thing I doubted the Midas quote and took my car to an honest and a trusted source. My car drives perfect now, best in years. Shame on this location and their staff for trying to gauge one of their new customers with un-necessary work and a hefty price tag. I would not recommend going to this company or location. The staff was nice, had no problems there however not a good experience. Just a company trying to pocket some money for work not needed. read more

Okay and December 27th I went to Midas at 1435 Green River road in Evansville Indiana to get an oil change and my check engine light kept coming on for like 3 weeks and I went in there and stayed 2 hours again three times in a row and services were not rendered at all I wouldn't recommend bringing my car here to tell you one thing and if next thing you know your car is screwed up so you get a zero rating and not to mention how you cussed me out and I cussed you back out for cussing me out in front of customers really it's not the way to handle things not really read more

They are ok. My car was done in a decent amount of time, but no one would come to the desk to check me out for quite a while, despite me standing there. They also wouldn't let me use a coupon because it wasn't printed off. Also they did not update the sticker on the windshield to show when the next oil change was needed. read more

We were LUCKY when the new manager came to Evansville (I think in late 2017 or in 2018) from a Midas in Tennessee -- and his name is Lucky! We had been having problems with my grandaughter's 2008 Jeep Patriot -- and again yesterday morning, I got the call that my grandaughter needed to take her Jeep to a repair shop AGAIN! -- she chose to go back to the Evansville Midas on North Green River Rd -- where she had a new alternator installed Oct 2018 -- and we met Lucky for the first time. He had not been at the Evansville Midas very long and -- we are the lucky ones. My review is in regard to Lucky finding the electrical problem in this wiring harness (not easy to isolate and locate real problems when electrical) and now we understand where all the codes and problems stemmed from -- a short in a wire in the harness that was due to placement of the harness in manufacture that allowed it to rub against metal and wear through after a number of years -- remember, this is a 2008 vehicle -- there were 6 codes showing and as he worked some more appeared and finally -- he found the real culprit(s) and time will tell BUT he found the wire that was shorting out and has repaired and replaced what was needed and we can hopefully look forward to a span of time without visits for repairs!!! Jeep is usually a reliable vehicle -- I am on my 3rd one and every one of them was basically trouble-free -- so kudos to Lucky for spending the time and not giving up on finding that specific wire and getting that vehicle back on the road on the same day as we brought it in. read more

Do not take your vehicle to this place for any type of mechanical work. My son took Jeep in just because it was slowly getting water temp up. I had the water levels checked prior to dropping it off and it was good. Next day they said it was leaking from water pump which it had no leak when we took it in. Then the more i questioned it they changed their story to it was the timing cover gasket. So they charged me 903 dollars and my son picked it up a drove only a few miles and parts started coming off. They didn't replace all of the bolts which caused the pulley to come off and ruined the serpentine belt. My son was stuck out in the heat and when he called them they just told him to get a toll truck to bring it back. They didn't offer to help him until i called. My son was out in the heat 3 hours and when he had to ride back to Midas in the toll truck Midas didn't even offer him any water to drink. I believe this place takes advantage of younger drivers and up diagnosis things to help their revenue. This issue was clearly the thermostat that turned into a nightmare. I will be reporting this place to the BBB. read more

Took in for a repair that was over 500$. Didn't even drive 2 miles before more issues occurred. Called immediately to report continued issues. When they inspected it there was a new issue (with parts they removed to fix the original problem). The "new" issue will cost 550$. I feel that this new problem was caused by negligence on their part. They removed the parts and then there was an issue that I now have to pay to fix. Unacceptable. They will not get anymore of my business. read more

Incompetent, and rude staff. Didn't get the oil change but the priced are low.
