My wife's van had worn front brake pads, after they replaced them van shook violently when braking which it was not doing before simply changing brake pads. Then when we took it back they claimed the brakes are good we basically just need to replace the ball joints and suspension. Took it to another shop and the brakes weren't installed properly. Midas essentially stole money from my wife. I would give zero stars if possible. Will never go back and will warn others of the same. read more

A friend of mine took his 4x4 truck to the Henderson Midas and spent a lot of money on new tires and other repairs. He is an 83yo man that was taken advantage of by this place, first they tried keeping his old tires that were worth selling as used, then 7mos later his left rear wheel came off on the hwy 41, went across the on coming traffic. Mind you these are very large tires that could have killed someone if it went through the windshield of their car going 45-50mph, not to mention he could have wrecked too and been injured. They are refusing to take responsability for it, saying it's been 7mos. I don't care, if they torqued them lug nuts to specs, it never would have happened. I'm pushing him to sue their asses for it, somebody could have been killed and they can't even fix it and cover the tow bill either. I wouldn't trust them to work on anything read more

Trickery is a precursor to sabotage. At Midas on N. Green River Rd a simple exhaust repair system seemed to turn 'magically' into a $830 attempted "shake down" by Assistant Mgr Destiny -- along with a list of invented car defects about other parts (that unknown to her at the time, some had been recently replaced). I contacted another shop afterwards who said they would have done the exhaust job and even include a new muffler at almost half the price, but Midas overpriced labor, parts -- and wouldn't source a new muffler without demanding more money. To be fair, the "trickery queen" felt obligated to right her wrong on the apparent price gouging and adjusted the outrageous cash price upon my complaints ... but didn't adjust the figure on the actual bill/receipt and a few days later (WALLA!!!) my car now leaks antifreeze likely from the water pump. Every thing is Cumulative and they know it! Unnecessary 'selling-up' in the office, exploiting customers thru price gouging or negatively exaggerating a car's mechanical condition is unscrupulous. My girlfriend has spent over $8,000 with these con artists. And her car is in worse shape than before they got a hold of it. She keeps taking it back, nothing gets fixed, it just gets more screwed up. It's apparent she has been taken advantage of because she's a woman. I dont know if they are criminals or just incompetent. Midas used the wrong tool on my tires, stripped my locking lug nuts. Then sent me off to die and kill everyone around me at my children's school. They told me that my lug nuts were bloated and damaged when I brought it in, when I had literally just had them replaced and they were literally the only ones that touched them besides the dealership that replaced them. They claim to be no bs and to back their work. They not only damaged my vehicle, but knowingly sent me out on the streets in a death trap to pick my children up from school and possibly kill everyone else on the road. When given the opportunity to fix it, they didn't. I lost time, money, sleep, and trust! The claim to be women, veteran, first responder friendly, but they're 100% not. Everything they represent is complete utter BS! A few minutes of driving, my tires began wobbling off of my vehicle. I had plans for a great weekend with my kids, paid for and ruined because what I thought would be a simple oil change would instead be an attempt on my life and everyone around me. I understand people make mistakes and he could have said "I accidentally broke your lug nuts". Things happen. The last mechanic stripped them as well and that's why it was replaced just before. Not a big deal. But this mechanic didn't just break them, but he knowingly sent me on the road to a school,, with them broken to die and killball the kids! He knew that I was heading to a school to pick up our children! I lay up at night and I am still shaking, thinking about how badly it could have gone, had one of the tires come off as I was rounding the turn around the corner where the kids are standing to be picked up, because I was running late from the mechanics. read more

I had Brakes Replaced a few months ago. Midas was able to get me in, and get the Brakes Replaced quickly! On my Work Schedule, that's quite a problem for me at Many Places! Very Competitive Pricing and Excellent Follow up!!! No problems whatsoever with Midas! Actually pleased with the Work and Follow up!!! My experience, not many Places practice, Following up with Customers. I don't know why? I received a Call from Midas the next day, possibly 2 days later? Asking me if I had Any problems with the Brake Work? I haven't! Recently got a Call, asking if I needed any other Work done? Something Other Businesses don't seem to do any longer? I like it! First shop in history that can perform a inspection and "Computerized Four Wheel Alignment " and still miss bent suspension and steering components. If you have the misfortune of taking your car to Midas and you and receiving the same quality service, you will find out that the incompetence goes all the way to the middle when you get a chance to deal with the "regional manager" who plays block and tackle for the ownership group who clearly are not concerned with their customers's experience. We won't even mention that their incompetence put a car back on the road that wasn't safe to be there even after they stated they test drove the car only to later find out that too was inaccurate. So save your time and money and find a quality shop with technicians and not lube techs disguising themselves as professionals and management that lost the art of customer service. They receive one war because zero star isn't an option. And to the "owner" don't waste your time with your "customer service link" it and you are a waste of time What's more laughable is when I returned the $100 control arm they charged me $250+ to put on, try to get the other parts they forgot to put back in my vehicle including my caliper pins (they forgot to put back on my caliper), Jason Lucas called me personally to let me know if I step foot onto their property, I will have charges filed on me. I'm not one to leave reviews but my complete amazement of how terribly someone can conduct business is too much to not share. So I will start with a compliment. This location used to be GREAT! I WAS a long time customer with a Midas Credit Card. However, they have rapidly become a con artist mechanic shop. My daughter was gifted a car. I wanted it checked out completely to ensure if it was worth keeping. I explained this in great detail, but all the old professionals are not there anymore and the new staff/management there is trash. They didn't even completely check over the vehicle, no test drive as asked, and had to be asked 2x to check the AC (my main concern) . They said could be operational under $2000, suggested a belt for AC to work, didnt complete recommended AC recharge revac and said 1 right arm control needed replacing... Come to find out after dissatisfied with service the car would need 3000-4000 in work done, they didnt catch it needs whole new AC work (not just a belt), radiator, and much more and they over charged for a part. Matter of fact as I drove away from the place AC didnt work and car was over heating. Asked for the recharge amount and the belt on a dead system back... not worried about the arm control, although the check didnt mention the left needed to be replaced too. They are giving me a hard time. So basicly I suggest only going here for basics like oil changes. Otherwise you might get scammed. I will now only use my credit card for gas purchases. read more

Mitas totally ripped me off for 160.00 bucks I paid that much just for a belt to be replaced lady told me nothing of a pulley problem but snuck it into my paperwork. 4 days after I get my van back belt snaps again and apparently I was informed which I was not. I have a severely disabled 9 year old child in a wheelchair who relies on this van to make medical appointments at Riley's 3-4 hours away from our home thank you mitas for nothing read more

Desperately needed an oil change. Drove into Midas, knowing that appointments are normally required, and there were no customers at all! So I asked if they could fit me in real quick (should only take 10 minutes), and they said I didn't make an appointment, and they were booked for the day.......really? Four mechanics sitting there twiddling their thumbs, no customers to help, and they still didn't want my money. Pathetic. I started going here for oil changes about a year or so ago and have been happy with the service. Josh the manager has always been friendly and I like that you can get a free oil change with a punch card after 4 or 5 oil changes. I do recommend making an appointment ahead of time as they tend to stay booked up - however they tend to get it done pretty fast. Its convenient for me since its so close to my house it takes me a matter of minutes to get there. read more

Integrity and trustworthy repairs are the way of the shop and I can see a difference since he took over as manager in 2017. He is making the necessary changes to improve the shop.
