I love this Midas location. Period. Why? I drive a foreign car and Midas was recommended to me by my mechanic. Midas was able to repair my exhaust issues in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. My husband drives a Jeep. The muffler fell off last year during a trip and when we returned home, I took the Jeep to this Midas location. The muffler was replaced while I we waited and the cost was reasonable. On December 1st, 2022, my 25 year old Ford Escort sounded very loud. I took it to Midas and their assessment determined it needed a new muffler. I was able to have the work done while I waited. They honored my Midas postcard coupon and I received a discount. I am very particular who services our vehicles. This Midas location employs trustworthy, honest, service professionals. The cashier explained everything to us accurately and was always polite and respectful. I highly recommend this Midas location and we will definitely return for our automotive service needs. M.I.D.A.S = Misrepresent Information, Deny All Solutions Took my car in for a brake repair. Was overcharged $210 for optional services that were never declared. Additionally, they refused to put one of the lug nuts back on but offered to do it for $26. I declined and did it myself for $3 from Autozone. HUGE RIP OFF - overcharge and will charge for services they didn't declare. Called Corporate and was directed to the store. Store management denied refund. Called corporate who sent it to district manager (Shane), who never got back to me but I was told by Corporate he denied refund. Called corporate (Fernando) who said it was out of their hands. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS - OR ASK VERY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MINIMUM WORK TO BE DONE!!! read more

Dishonest manager and incompetent mechanics. This place made so many mistakes on my car repair that the manager called in a panic telling me to pull over right now and have car towed back to them. Then he lied about this. Worst place EVER! They deserve 0 stars. read more

Zero!! I usually go to Fair Muffler on Coliseum & Lake but they couldn't get me in. Midas a block down could get me in at 1pm. I get there & they take till 2 to pull my car in. But b4 that he has me sign a piece of paper he said, "sign this & will get started. Don't everyone sign? So when I see the estimate & the ridiculous amount. I said no & he says $35.88. I'm like the estimates aren't free. He says, "You signed the paper" REALLY!!!! What a way to do business.... read more

Wow Midas does charge different amounts Coliseum is $29.99 but if you go another mile to Coldwater rd. they only charge $20 & so does Illinois rd. Just like my other review They SUCK........ read more

I visted yesterday afternoon after returning from long vacation to my incomplete project of removing rusted license plate screws to put on the new plate from the DMV. (Before leaving I tried wd-40, screw drivers & pliers... and was gonna get a drill and try drilling them out before I ran out of time.) Luckily I called Midas who was able to get me in in an hour so I avoided possible fines of driving with expired plates while I kept driving around trying methods to get the screws off. I'd like to thank Cameron Vaight for the the professional & quick solution to get the screws off and my new plates on, so that I could resume my day worry free of getting a ticket or spending more time trying to fix the problem myself! read more

Terrible service. The people were friendly but thats about all good I could. Brought the car in because of electrical systems were messing up. Car got charged and got the oil plan replaced. They failed to diagnose the original problem. Recommended me to replace some stuff that never really needed to be replaced. Over charged like hell. For a charge from a charging station and an oil change ran me like 650$. If you know what's best for you, dont go. read more

Visiting Midas for the first time was a great experience for me. They all looked professional and serious ,at the same time very friendly and patiently listened to me. Their services very fast, I couldn't believe they repaired and changed the alternator in my van in a short time. They are accurate ,on time and reasonable . Took my van to the Illinois rd location in Ft Wayne. They replaced the rear breaks. But instead of removing the rust from the bracket they ground the brake pad down. Now the brake pad moves and sounds like a chair scooting across the floor. Took it back to them and they wanted me to replace my front wheel bearing. They didn't even address the brake pad issue. Took it to another mechanic he said the wheel bearing is fine and pointed out the issue. I took it back and the manager said it's standard practice to grind the brake pad to fit. So now I replace my rear brakes again.... read more

Went in for an oil change. Hate people working on my car but I didn't have a place to do the work myself. They were very knowledgeable about my car. It was nice to talk to car guys who knew the car and what to look for. While they had it on the lift they found a couple of things. Both inner tie rods needed replaced and the drive shaft intermediate bearing boot was torn and the bearing was dry. I verified that the parts would indeed need replace and scheduled to work. They were able to order the parts and had the car back in the shop in 2 days. I had my car back and running order that afternoon. Greg made me feel good about letting them work on my car. An absolutely horrible experience. 3 visits and $1200 later, I still have issues with my brakes. Never again. Do they quality check their work? Oh, and when I got home to verify new parts were installed (master cylinder) I decided to check the oil, as an oil change was one of the initial services I wanted performed. I pull the dipstick and I find dirty oil! THEY NEVER CHANGED THE OIL!!! Hopefully the owner will return my call Monday. I will post more once there is a resolution. Terrible customer service. When my vehicle dropped off it ran. It took two weeks to get it back and in the mean time it suddenly stopped running and cost me $2100. When I called to see how long it would take to get it back, they said to stop calling, they would call me when it was done. Awful service, terrible prices, long long long long wait.
