Midas is shady AF! I've been getting my oil changed here fairly regularly for a few years. They always send me coupons for that sort of thing. I've gotten quotes for other work and their prices are always outrageously high . double or triple the price that other shops in the area are charging for the same work. They recently quoted me around $800 for a tuneup that I got done at the dealership for less than half that price. The quote on brakes was $200 more than other shops in the area. I asked them to do a PBOT inspection after a recent oil change. They told my brakes that have less than 20,000 miles on them need to be replaced in order to pass my inspection. I took my car to another shop to have it looked at. No issue with the brakes. Went to a Les Schwab location to have the inspections done and passed with flying colors. this shop is just not honest or trustworthy. Make sure and get quotes from other shops before you let them do any work or just avoid this shop all together.

The folks here at Midas are great. They are friendly and helpful and don't try to sell you things you don't need!! I highly recommend them.

Luis is the face of their Customer service, He was personable, and easy going. I flew from Seattle to take my son's classic Bronco in for an easy steering box replacement. They also upsold me, recommended an alignment. I'm not sure why, the steering box doesn't affect the toe in/ toe out or alignment of the frontend. I arrived a little before 9 am, was told I would be put in queue. I waited in the waiting area...At 10:45AM I asked if there was any update.on my position in the queue. I was told I would have to reschedule for another day.. I also had already procured a new 1966 steering box. Wished I had read more of the poor service reviews here before booking the 1st appointment and wasting 3 hours of my Saturday. Thank you for saving me the pain of a poor service experience! Well, since I had dedicated this day to the job, I ended up just doing it myself. Took me 30 minutes.. Easy and quick. I don't recommend these guys for any service..

I only paid for labor because I brought in my own Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and oil filter, which I bought across the street at Wal-Mart. It's much cheaper to bring in your own materials as long as you buy the right parts. At first, I brought in synthetic oil that they said was specific to cold weathers rather than all-season. So they gave me the opportunity to no have their oil poured in, but rather, go buy the right type of oil (all-season) since they knew I wanted that. That was a great gesture of them and I appreciate their honesty. The customer service was top notch and they didn't mind me watching them work on my car by standing outside the work zone. There's also a waiting area inside the shop with coffee and TV. I would recommend anyone to get their car fixed here because they don't nickel and dime you, but rather, tell you the straight facts about your car's issue and let you decide what to do before working on your car.

Factory Wheel Outlet - Silver OEM wheels painted gloss black by FWO.

Overall, we are very pleased with the way our project turned out, but the experience could have…read morebeen better. Jim means well, but I think he gets busy, and can't meet the lead-times he originally states. My daughter wanted the silver OEM wheels on her Chevy Cruze Premier repainted to a gloss black, so we brought them to FWO. The end result is exactly what we wanted, and it was a lot cheaper than trying to find the factory "Redline" wheels. The paint job is high quality, and it looks really nice. The areas for improvement include communication and lead-times. Initially we were given a completion date of 2 business days, and I told them they could take 3 if needed. When I called on the third day, they told me three rims were bent, and they needed to be straightened (for additional cost). I gave the go ahead, but I think they had our wheels confused with another project, because they never added on any other charges. The wheels & car ended up being ready for pick up on the sixth business day. As stated, the paint job is great, but the tires seemed haphazardly filled to random pressure levels, differing by a few PSI from corner to corner (that was an easy fix). They all hold air just fine, though; so no worries there. I would definitely recommend the work that Jim & FWO do, but just allow a little extra time for project completion.

New wheel from dealer was $750.00. Called Jim at Factory Wheel Outlet and he said bring it in we'll fix it if we can, and no charge if it doesn't work. He fit me in on a super busy holiday when 3 of his staff could not make it in due to ice storm. Wheel fixed, fair price, honest dude. Side note: took car in to Les Schwab after fix to get alignment and all wheels checked, told them about FWO and they said, "oh yeah, if Jim fixed it then it is good, he is the expert, we send all of our wheel repairs to him." nuf said.
