Ayalew and his team are the absolute best. I have a 2009 Tacoma that gave off a crazy mixture of noises and symptoms. A dealership couldn't figure it out. They said it was everything from the brand-new brake pads to the headlights (I wish I were joking). They took the truck through some genius-level diagnostics, working through each problem and isolating multiple failing components along the driveline. I've been to this place a couple of times, and will take my business here again in the future. The area is kinda tight for parking, and the neighboring businesses don't seem to like anyone to park their car in their spaces, even on Saturday afternoon. But that's also the nice thing about this place. They open on Saturdays. They don't do tires (i.e. alignment) and oil change is a bit on the expensive side (around $40). But they do everything else with a very reasonable price. read more

I recently needed to fix my 2011 Scion tC. It had been making a really sound for the last year and a half. About a week ago it began making an even louder, and more serious sounding noise I knew needed to be addressed immediately. I had searched Google and Yelp for the best auto repair in the area, but was unsure due to the overwhelming choices and reviews in my area. I posted on the NextDoor app, and a fellow neighbor had confirmed what I had read about Addis Auto repair, stating the owner was very trustworthy and did work for a reasonable price. My water pump needed to be replaced, as well as a full tune up, and my battery needed to also be cleaned up as well. The owner did all of this for me, and for less than what he had initially quoted me! He was done when he said he would be, and called me when he was done to let me know! Great follow up, as well as communication! I appreciate his honest work and help so much! His work is also guaranteed for one year or 12,000 miles, whichever one comes first. I am so glad I took my Civic to Addis. Ayalew, and his team of mechanics, are honest, knowledgeable, and friendly. My parents have been going to Addis for over five years and they referred me. Here's an example of the extreme honesty of Addis: my check engine light came on and I took it in. After the diagnostics were ran I found out my transmission had a problem. I was given an estimate on what it would cost to fix it, and I was about to spend the money, when Ayalew told me that my transmission was still functioning at 95%, and I if I was okay with a slight reduction in MPG, it would be fine to wait a few months. I had him replace my starter, and I also asked him, if he had the time, to take a look at my Idle Air Control Valve (IAC), as I suspected it was going bad (based on some internet research). He had several spare IACs sitting around, so after installing the new starter, he simply replaced my IAC with a new one completely free of charge. What service!
