Easy to book an appointment for an oil change. I was in and out fast and customer service was great!

We've been customers for YEARS and usually deal with Kathy, who was there today and has always been great. Unfortunately, she wasn't the one who made my appointment. I made an 11:00 appointment last week and was very clear that I needed an oil change done in about an hour. Instead, I arrived to a packed parking lot and was told they had several customers ahead of me and could possibly have it done by the end of the day. Kathy offered to reschedule, but I needed it done today, which is exactly why I made the appointment in the first place! I have a busy schedule and simply couldn't sit there all day. After being treated this way after years of being a loyal customer, this was the final straw. You need to get your house in order when it comes to communication. You've lost our business. read more

Wow. Five years ago I google reviewed this place as 5 stars,today, I am speechless I dont even know where to start. I made an appt, for an oil change and tire rotation-online. I made appt for 9am. I dropped car last night. I got call at 8am that I could drop car anytime. I told them car is already there. They asked what name do I want it under. I said my name,not daughter's name. I call at 230pm to see if car is done. They said it's not due for inspection. I said it wasn't there for inspection. Then they said we did the brake fluid exchange. I said it wasn't there for that. It was there for an oil change and tire rotation. On hold again. Now next person gets on phone ANNOYED AT ME ...I actually had to say I dont know why you're upset with me...turns out Kathie was her name and I know because she still had attitude when I finally got there and then they couldn't figure oit where the car was because it was under my name,not my daughter's. I had to then say "I can't be the only step mother there is w a different name". The girl at the desk apologized ,I heard her say she was there for a month filling in, she did the best she could and gave us the oil change free because it was such a mess. Then they are giving me a part, I had no idea it was a wheel lock key (why would i?!?!)and Kathie seems annoyed i didn't know that either. I mean, why wasn't it pit back where they got it?!?! I brought my F150 for an oil change, and let's just say things got a little sideways because of a new employee not following procedures. When I discovered what happened, I contacted Dan, the manager and brought my truck in to discuss a resolution. He accepted responsibility and he and I worked out a plan that was fair to everyone. I was so glad that we were able to keep things calm and amicable rather than turning into an ugly scene. They did what they promised without argument, so all is good in my eyes now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Anybody can make a mistake. It's about how you recover from it. Brought my ford in for inspection which they said they could do. They were unable to do a reading on the emissions and couldn't connect. Told me to take it to Ford. I paid $50 to put air in tires basically. I shouldn't of been charged anything for this since they weren't capable of doing the job. Definitely wont come back. read more

They were very professional and I highly recommend them. We had state inspection for both of our vehicles. Their service was completed in a timely manner. They gave a list of work that we should be looking down the road. Very happy with the service. read more

I had a custom exhaust installed on my Toyota Tacoma that I supplied, I dropped my truck off to have the work down the next day, an hour later they called me my truck was finished wow I was so happy and my steering wheel was clean when I got in my truck that is a big thing to me that they respected my truck. read more

STEER CLEAR!! Scammers. We took our vehicle for inspection. We knew it needed a new sway bar from taking it to another garage earlier in the day. Dan (the "manager") couldn't have been ruder or more condescending. He told my husband it would be $1300+ but could have it fixed in 2 hours which says to me the labor doesn't cost nearly what they charge since it would have been a 2 hour job. My husband politely and patiently explained that we had found the parts for 1/3 the price online and would come pick up our vehicle. Dan argued saying the parts wouldn't be the same quality even though he had no clue what site we were speaking of and ended the conversation with my husband by hanging up on him. I called back to pay since we were struggling to be able to get there by 5 and he said they didn't take payment over the phone. I asked if I could pay online, still no which it's 2024 and you have my vehicle with the registration, insurance, address, etc on it.. how could one possibly steal someone else's credit card to pay a $24 balance when all their information is with the merchant?? Regardless, he was excessively argumentative instead of behaving like a manager should and understanding that sometimes there are disagreements with the customer and the way you handle it is the most important thing especially as management. My reason to call back other than to pay was to discuss his inappropriate behavior by hanging up on my husband which he denied then told me "our conversation was over, that's why I hung up" I was so shocked by his behavior I couldn't believe he was actually management!! After looking back I see they're a 2 star shop & I can see why. They find things you can't prove to charge a crazy amount of money basically holding your car hostage. When we got home we found they kept our key lock and had to drive all the way back over there. Way to run a business And then to top it after swearing he didn't "hang up" on my husband, he hung up on me. Go elsewhere. Only left a star because I had to.. read more

I went to get a diagnostic but they checked only one or two things based on what I told them when I came in then charged me almost 90 dollars to tell me to go somewhere else for a second opinion! These people will try to scam you, be very careful. I've had two in a row bad experiences here. First they said they couldn't pass an inspection without 1000 dollars worth of work. When I told them Id take it to my own mechanic instead they backtracked and said they'd make a mistake and passed it. Then I went there again due to an emergency situation, and I should have known better. I ended up paying 500$ for work that didn't solve the problem and I was later told was completely unnecessary. Went in for brakes and after a few weeks heard a rattling coming from the rear. Dealership showed me they put in pads that were obviously smaller and barely reaching the clips. Paying for new brakes and Midas (mike) said there's nothing they can do. Told me to put the wrong pads back on and drive it over so they can verify. Safety first, Mike. Customer satisfaction not honored at this garage. I'd recommend steering clear. Better options in quakertown. 07Nov17 Update: Costumer service contacted me through email and after a month said they reviewed my case. Unable to provide refund as the shop was unable to inspect the car. Said the store tried to contact me many times, however, I have no record of them trying. I provided the shop with the receipt and work order from the dealership but it looks like I've gotten the runaround. Be careful consumers. read more

Excellent service, brought my FIAT for an oil change, dealership wanted $85.99. I have used Midas for our other cars and scheduled my appointment easy for drop off and pick up; $44.99 plus Kevin, the owner updated me on some other issues blubs, etc. I'm sure dealership wouldn't have said anything. Super happy with the Quakertown Team.. I bought a new Kia Seltos, took it to my regular "repair shop" and was told by the "customer service professional" that there is "no such car" and that "I must have a Sedona or Soul, but there is no such thing as a Seltos" --As if I don't know what kind of car I bought!!! Stopped in at this repair shop after my exhaust system fell apart. The shop looked extremely busy. The lot was filled with cars. I asked if I could get an estimate to repair my vehicle. I was told if I could wait 15 minutes that a mechanic might become free to look at my vehicle. I waited and my vehicle was pulled into a bay and was looked at and I got a quote. I asked if I could get the work done and was told that if I left my car there, they would try to get to it but it might take into the next day to get done. Later in the day I got a call saying that the repairs were done. When I asked if there were any discounts that I may be eleigble for, I was given a $25.00 off labor discount. When I got home, my wife told me that she saw that seniors (which I am) get 10% off on their bill. I went back to the shop and asked Kevin, the manager, if i could get that discount in place of the labor discount and he gladly did that for me. This repair shop not only gave me fast, excellent service but was also very fair and honest. Something that is often hard to find. I have no issues recommending this business and would go back to them again in the future. read more

Took two of my vehicles to Midas there LOL repair on Muffler and it was a catastrophe they ruined pretty much the inside of my vehicles not to mention the job they did on my muffler they had to use a ball ping hammer toe slap one of my pipes and place and it didn't pass inspection so they had to redo it and but they wouldn't replace it they also broke my fuel pump during the process they had to replace the fuel pump and then I have to go back a second time because the fuel pump failed the new one that is took two of my vehicles to Midas there for repair on muffler and it was a catastrophe they ruined pretty much the inside of my vehicles not to mention the job they did on my muffler they had to use a bowl ping hammered up slap one of my pipes and place and it didn't pass inspection so they had to redo it and but they wouldn't replace it they also broke my fuel pump during the process they had to replace the fuel pump and then I have to go back a second time because the fuel pump failed the new one that is so it's been just all downhill and reference to service from this specific Midas the manager will lie to you and they will try to take you for as much as they possibly can so read more

I was very pleasantly surprised with the wonderful service I received by Dan and his staff. Brought my car in for a catalytic converter replacement. Not only was the repair made as promised the same day, I was offered a loaner car so I can run my errands without having to wait around for my car to be finished, and was able to easily finance the repair. Overall, a wonderful experience. I very highly recommend this shop. read more

Disappointed ... thought Dave's Midas shops are better (trustable/genuine, yet reliable) than other auto shops but this one looks to me same as the typical repair shop 'bait-and-switch' style high pressure sales team. I used to take my cars to the Colmar store and was in general satisfied but I found out that store was transitioning to another owner. I know Dave owns 5/6 shops in the area and found out this Quakertown store is one of them. So I took my car to this one for annual inspection. Guy failed the car for a 'passenger wiper, brake pad, and more - total suggested repairs $1100.00'. I'm aware annual inspections are in a way for shops to suggest possible repairs but I was hoping for reasonable suggestions as I have come to expect from Dave and his Colmar team. In the auto-repair space trust is valuable since majority of service managers are not so much. I thought I found a reliable and yet trustable shop in Dave's shops but this particular one appears to me nothing different from others. And, smelled smoke when I drove car off shop (I am non-smoker and car is never smoked inside). Yeah, really disappointed! read more

Went to get my car inspected and they gave me the emissions sticker. The mechanic here said I need to replace control arm bushings to get my safety sticker. They clearly tried to squeeze money out of me. I got the sticker, my local honest mechanic said the bushings will last another 3 years. They didn't even recommend replacing the whole control arm, which in the end is cheaper than replacing one little bushing! read more

Went in for a simple oil change, they for some reason took my brakes off, when they put them back on the mechanic did not bleed the line. He backed my car out of the shop and into someone else's car. They then never filed a claim with their insurance company for the damage on my car to be looked at and fixed, I had to call their insurance company to file the claim myself! read more

If I could give them a zero*I would be worse place to go in Quakertown the manager of the store is a joke and a rip off stating things that were done correctly that were and then backtracked saying only one or two things wrong and then charge $110 to do it when I personally know your took 10 minutes to do. This is a joke never go there at all called the manager on it and did nothing for me at all. This company is a rip off and I bunch of liars They should be ashamed of having these kind of people work for them. I hope some from corporate gets back to me on this because I want my $110 back plus the alignment cost. read more

Broke down on my way home from the mountains in June. Not knowing the area, was towed to the nearest Midas. They put a new starter in my car. Since I was there and it was almost time, I asked them to inspect my car. They told me my tires were practically bald and I needed new ones. I'm a sucker, and let them do it. The work they did caused the engine light to come on, then they tried to make me pay for an inspection they claimed they couldn't do because the light was on. Left there with a really bad feeling I had gotten ripped off. Fast forward to January - car does not start. Low and behold, it needs a new starter. They must have given me a bad one. Only I can't go to any Midas for the warranty - they are a franchise - I'd have to drive all the way back to Quakertown. Yeah, ok, so you can mess with my car even more? No thank you. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The first and the last time I will ever deal with Midas again. Shady! Shady! Beware!!! read more
