Stay away if you care about your safety!! We paid to have 4 snow tires put on and oil changed. We drove away and the car was shaking violently. Had to turn around and go back - Patrick the "manager" refused to stay open past 5:00pm to help us. He conveniently "ran out of" wheel weights so he couldn't re-balance for us. He actually suggested we to the tire place down the street, because they were open until 7:00. So we had no choice. The other garage discovered all 4 tires were not balanced correctly, which can be very dangerous. A coffee-cup worth of weight was taken off of each tire!! Midas had also overfilled our oil. SCAM Stay away. Tech tried to talk my wife into unnecessary brake repairs when she brought in for an inspection sticker. Said he couldn't pass it due to "rust" on the rotor. Said that pads were fine, but recommended they be replaced with the rotors. Total BS. I called and he stuck to his story. Said NH is very strict on this, very common for around here. Anyway, she brought to Volvo dealer same day and vehicle passed no problem. We are out the cost of the inspection to Midas shop, but could have paid hundreds for bogus and unnecessary brake repairs. read more

From out of state- fan belt snapped. Called Meineke first. They were SO RUDE and refused to help us. Called Midas-they could not have been nicer! We made it to their shop-they didn't have the part there-went to get the part. Knew we had a 400 mile trip ahead of us-ensured we would be safe. I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I also requested that they put some air in the tires, as my low tire pressure light was on. Upon leaving, I noticed that the low tire pressure light was still on, but figured it needed some time to turn off. It did not. Over the next few days, I also noticed a stronger-than-usual exhaust smell when idling. I took my car in to a different mechanic, to discover that the oil drain plug had not been properly tightened and was leaking, therefore causing the strong smell. It had to be cleaned, tightened, and the oil required topping off. I am extremely disappointed that a basic oil was botched, and required that I take my car into a mechanic a second time. read more

Horrible experience. Bought four tires , only customer there at the time. Took 3.5 hours to install 4 tires and oil change. Drove away and car shook like a mixmaster. Called back said they were closing for night. Wouldn't fix their screwup. Patrick knew I needed to get home 4 hours away so he told me that he was out of wheel weights and couldn't do anything to help me. Flat out lie so he could close at 5. Tire shop out of wheel weights, kind of like Dunkin' Donuts out of coffee. It doesn't happen. He told me to go up the street to fix their screwup which I had no other choice but to. Place up the road pulled of over 6 oz of weight off each wheel and put in 1/2 to 1 oz on each, car was perfect. Midas in Seabrook NH are a bunch of losers. I would rather walk than go back there. read more

I continually receive constant excuses as to how they are always backed up and so busy. For this reason I called and made an appointment for an oil change this morning. The gentleman on the phone said they are wide open and made an appointment for me for 10:30 AM. I get there at 10:30, 20 minutes after my phone call to find them "backed up". There are now suddenly two cars in front of me and it's going to be 20 minutes before they can even get my car in. His excuse was that the gentleman who made my appointment did not ask the gentleman in the front before making my appointment. How is it that someone working in the bay area does not realize if they are busy and have no availability to work on a vehicle? They need to square their shit away! read more

A young visitor from out of state brought his car in for a front end alignment after running off the road and ended up being charged more than the car was worth. He was totally taken advantage of due to his naïveté. The car should've been totaled. Mechanics all knew. Plus a majority of the parts replaced were grossly over priced/doubled compared to auto zone and area garages When I called to talk to the manager, Patrick, he told me it was none of my business & no one twisted the boys arm. I'd give them less than 1 star if I could...took my car in for some work and they not only replaced the wrong parts, but they used the wrong hardware as well. My tires ended up being crooked so I took it back to them. They admitted their mistake and gave me 2 new tires (I just bought 4 new tires before all this work was done...) and they replaced the hardware. Thinking I was all set, I drove off. I called about 20 minutes later with a concern on a creeping sound. They told me it was safe and it was just the hardware. Unfortunately for them, my car was found to be very unsafe because they once again, used the wrong hardware. All 4 of my tires needed to be replaced, my subframe needed to be replaced because of the hardware that ended up cracking the subframe, and all the hardware. That came up to be another $1200 to fix the issue that they didn't fix and issues because of what they "fixed"...putting 8 new tires on my car in less than a year because of these people should tell anyone to not use them. And to think it all began with an oil change...I wish I could post a picture of my tires and all the work that they messed up. Good luck to anyone who uses these guys. I wish you luck. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE I brought my car for their $15 oil change and tire rotation special. Unfortunately they used the wrong oil filter, and didn't tighten it, so as we were driving the car down the road all the oil poured out damaging a perfectly good engine (not to mention the 5 quarts of oil on my road. The car started smoking and shut down in the middle of the road. My girlfriend had the car towed to our mechanic. Imagine our surprise when they opened the hood and saw there was no oil filter. When I went to Midas to discuss the problem the manager was friendly and acknowledged the error on their part. But when he got the owner on the phone she just yelled at me and called me a liar, and kept asking why I didn't bring the car their initialy, even though I explained my car was billowing smoke and broke down in middle of the road and the last thing we thought it could be was NO FILTER. It ended up being an extremely costly decision bringing my car there. A mistake I hope no one else will make. read more
