Went to them for an oil change, running light, and brake light replacement. Oil change was smooth, brake light replacement was normal. Then they informed us AFTER the fact that the turn signal bulb was out, and replaced it without consulting the customer. If they had told me what they were doing, I would have approved, IF they showed me it wasn't working. It worked driving there. There was about a two hour wait time for parts we were told would take "five or ten minutes". Overall, we were there from 1000 AM to 1420 PM, most of the time with the mechanics standing around. There needs to be better communication between the wrench benders and the front desk, and parts need to move in a timely manner. If you don't have it, tell me and I'll go elsewhere. I wonder if because we were from out of state, on vacation, and they'd never see us again, we were easy marks. Worst part was the lack of communication. We were told nothing unless we asked, and the staff didn't communicate well with each other. read more

I went in for a routine oil change. It was my first time there. I had called ahead of time to ask how much it would cost. The person on the phone told me about $60 and that would include the tire rotation and checking/topping off all fluids. Great. It went pretty quickly, and when Carlos told me they were almost done I asked whether the tires had been rotated. He asked if I wanted them done, and I said I thought that was included and he said no problem they would do them. I was a little surprised because that supposedly is included with the oil change. Then I went to pay the bill and he told me it was $107. What?? I told him about my previous phone call with another gentleman that worked there and what I was quoted. He ended up saying he would delete some things (?) and reduce the charge which he did and it ended up being about $53. Despite Carlos being very friendly and polite this left me feeling very unsure about the whole operation there. I won't go back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs! Scratched my and another customers wheels and overfilled another customers oil all within two hours! It has come to my attention that manager of this location has left Munro. He informed my via text when I was trying to resolve this issue. Luckily he forwarded me an email to his corporate overlords admitting fault before he did! Frankly I don't blame him. While I was at your store located on 194 Endicott street in Danvers on 2/4/2026 several customers were complaining. One had their oil overfilled risking engine failure. Another had scheduled a tire change but they were unable to perform the job due to over booking. As for me, my wheels were scratched by your COATS TIRE CHANGER 70X-EH-3 X-SERIES which he informed me had done the same to another customers tires which he referenced earlier in this email thread. He told me he asked his district manager to fix it several times and it has never been done properly. In my own research I have learned the scratches like the ones on my rims can occur when the machine is not used properly. Either way Munro is liable. Furthermore the "technicians" forgot to install my TPMS sensors which is listed on my receipt from tireEasy.com and i personally handled to the person who took my car in. Additionally I had to wait an hour for a "solution" when Carlos and I discovered my wheels were scratched. During this time he did not help me because other customers were constantly complaint and the phone was ringing the whole time. He was the only person in the waiting room. He eventually forwarded the email that he sent to all of you as proof he was trying to address the issue. Finally when I went out to my truck to leave I discovered the wheel lock key was missing. I had to ask for it 3 times and wait an additional 15 minutes for one of your employees to return it. I have emailed you with my contact information. I expect a call in ASAP! read more

No stars....I had made an appointment at the Medford Ma location on Revere Beach parkway. I wanted to take my dad's car in be ause he is in the hospital. I had made an appt. for 530pm at 1pm this afternoon during my lunch break . I received my confirmation email & was happy. I left my job 15 min early so I could make it on time. As I was about to turn in i noticed a call that said missed call at 5:24 pm & 5:26 pm. I called back as soon as I saw it . I said hello I have a missed call from you. He said yup you had an appt at 530pm we called you 4x to confirm & since you didnt answer we sent the tech home. It was literally 5:31pm. I said im pulling in ,why would you send him home. He said you did not answer , I said you just called me & it wasn't 4x it was 2x and why no voicemail ? He responded- it didnt give me an option to do so. I said huh, weird, I got a couple of VM today with no issues but for you it didnt give you an option? He was condescending in the way he spoke to me & I was in no way mean or rude definitely I was annoyed but I just left my Retail job early from Lynnfield to go all the way to Medford just to be cancelled just like that. I have been waiting for a response from Monro about a very bad repair experience that took place in February 2019 since I became aware of the problem in April 2019. I brought my car to Monro Auto in Danvers, MA, Endicott Street in February 2019 as my emergency brake light was on and would not shut off when the emergency brake was manually disengaged. They looked at my car that same day and determined that the brake fluid was leaking and that they needed to replace the caliper, rotors, brake lines and pads, I believe. The job cost over $600. I brought my car to another service shop in April 2019 for oil change, inspection sticker and other service and they discovered that there was a hemostat clamped on the left brake line. This was preventing fluid from flowing through the hose. This tool being left on the hose indicates a level on incompetence and their failure to reply to my complaint indicates a lack of concern for their customers and willingness to stand behind their work. My main request to them was to let me know how the tool could be left on the line and how they would make sure that this does not happen to someone else. I am angry that I paid $600 for work that was clearly not done as it should have been and they also couldn't bother to reply to me. I am posting this in the hope that others will avoid this business and the similar careless and dangerous work that I experienced. I am so glad that I brought my car to another shop following the February service as I am sure that had I brought it to them, I would not have known of their failure to properly work on my car. read more

Had my front and rear brake pads/rotors replaced here by Colin. He was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable. Colin thoroughly inspected my vehicle for other problems. He showed me a small leak in the transfer case under the car which was likely caused by a technician where I get the oil changed. I had no clue that my car was even leaking fluid. No worries. Colin took care of it. The waiting area is a little dirty and assistant manager's appearance is very sloppy, but I guess I'll overlook that. I just think a business and its manager should take pride in their appearance, even if it's a garage. I'll be back to see Colin for my 105K mile service. read more

I want to start by saying that, originally, I was happy with the work that was done by Monro in Danvers, MA on June 25, 2020. The manager was pleasant and helped to get two front tires on. I left there feeling satisfied as the tread on the outside looked incredible...two brand new Yokohama. Secondly, I want to preface this by saying that I usually go with economy tires ($60-70 a piece), making this sting even more as the tires were $107 a pop. Before I left, I asked the mechanic how everything looked...he said tight, nothing was loose, to which I replied "when do I need an alignment?". He said "within the next 6 months". You see I am unemployed with two toddlers, so money is a little tight right now. Fast forward to August 9, 2020...my exhaust broke. I had it fixed by another shop. In doing so the mechanic told me that my two front tires were SHOT. I was incredulous. I said that is impossible as I just got two brand new tires. Come to find out, Monro put two "new" tires on my front end from 2012. From the outside, they looked good. He lifted the car up, however, and showed me that the tread was completely gone on the inside. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even driven 1,800 miles on them. The mechanic said he would NEVER have put 8 year old tires on a car, or maybe they were even used! I realized I hadn't even checked the inner tread when I got them. I looked at the receipt and, thank my lucky stars, the Yokohama had a 65,000 mile warranty! Wait for it...when I returned to Monro in Danvers they told me that is only covered if you have an alignment done immediately. Looking at my original receipt, it states they should have done a complimentary alignment check, which was never done. Also, hadn't the mechanic told me that I had up to 6 months before I needed an alignment? Yes! I said that if they replaced my tires, which hadn't even gone 2,000 miles yet, then I would get an alignment right then and there. NO problem. Not only that, but if I knew they would have gotten chewed up that fast I would have gotten the alignment the same day I got the tires, rather than be out almost $300. The manager called the district manager, I was told was at a wedding and didn't want to be bothered, who offered they would give me a free tire if I bought one. I couldn't believe it. I left with the number for "customer care" in corporate. The first woman I spoke to, Shawna, was rude off the bat. I didn't even get my first sentence off before she interrupted me to say that I should have gotten an alignment right away, to which I reiterated if I knew that I would have! She cut me off several times before I asked for escalation. Her boss, Theresa, was even ruder and pushed me off with every word claiming no matter what they stood with their district manager. I've worked retail management for over a decade and just couldn't believe how this was customer support. Next, I was pushed up to Mackenzie. While pleasant at first, Mackenzie soon went into the same rigmarole of siding with the district manager instead of searching for a solution for me. I said, so you stand with an employee telling me that I have six months to get an alignment? Mackenzie said that was hearsay. So now I'm a liar. She said even if that was true, the employee could not tell if you needed an alignment by looking at it, to which I responded then they should have done the complimentary alignment check that's on the receipt. She said again, hearsay. They wouldn't believe me. I asked to be given her boss and she refused, said there was nobody else to talk to. I feel this should be made right for a customer that is not happy with their overall experience. read more

Fast oil change for $26 including the taxes. I've made appointments before going. Once there was no one else there, the other time, there was a line and they were turning people away because they were too busy. They sounded helpful on the phone and with customers while I sat and waited in the waiting room/front area. No entertainment or free coffee, so bring a book and water, though if you are just getting an oil change, it won't take that long. If you had to wait for a couple hours, the mall is across the street, so there is stuff to keep you busy. I'll continue to go here for my oil changes. Maybe for repairs when the time comes. While visiting my daughter in the area, we noted that her front turn signal was not working to her 2012 Mazda 6. The first three garages we tried told us that it was too complicated to change easily, they would have to put the car on the lift, or they would have to remove the front tire. Excellent, quick, service! Manager Mike is friendly, efficient, happily helps you find the best options and price. I had my rear tires replaced and was in and out in less than a half hour. I also had my oil changed at a later date. In the past, Firestone has told me on numerous occasions that they will not change the oil on my car (2004 Mini Cooper with 342K miles). Mike & his mechanic let me know that it would absolutely no problem to do so, and unlike Firestone, I wasn't forced to wait for hours, even though I had an appointment. I usually dread getting my car repaired, as, I am sure, most people do. However, this trip turned into a very pleasant experience! I had gone in a week earlier and talked to Charlie about my muffler. I was very concerned, because I am on a fixed income, and had been told by others that it was going to be a costly repair. Charlie inspected my muffler system and assured me that the problem was a minor one and that he could, in fact, repair it right then in about an hour. I declined and told him that I would be back the following week when I get my social security check. I arrived the following week (today) and again was pleasantly greeted by this polite gentleman. He then proceeded to work on my car, as promised, and change the oil, as agreed. My car was repaired and the oil was changed in less than an hour. The price was outstanding! Charlie and I talked about possible future recommendations to keep my car running in tip top shape. I recommend this place; and I will return. They do a lot more than just mufflers and oil changes. Air filter mind you there Half the price next door at advanced auto.. long story short I did n't need the repairs he recommended, but to top it off a week later I noticed one of my back tires missing a lug nut I checked them all and they were all not tight what so ever just enough to hold them on i can't believe this is have 2 kids aged 2 and 3 I'm so disgusted and will never return . read more
