I went to…read moreTake 5 Oil Change on Douglas Rd, Toledo OH in February to have my oil changed & they almost ruined my car with their method of changing the oil. The guys at this location told me that my transmission was leaking. I have a 2017 Ford Escape & I had oil dripping on my driveway where I parked. I took my car to Earl Brothers Transmission on Laskey Rd, Toledo OH a couple days ago to have my car looked at. Mike at Earl Brothers told me that I had oil in my air intake & other places on the engine that shouldn't have oil. Mike explained how Take 5 uses a suction method to change the oil & the metal rod they use to go down into the oil pan didn't go down all the way bc the line has a slight kink, so they didn't go down all the way into the oil pan. They only took out about 3 qts of oil instead of the 4 qts needed. They replaced the 4 qts of oil that my car requires, leaving 1 qt of oil to go into my air intake & other places on the engine. I paid $460.00 to have my car serviced bc of Take 5 Oil Change mistake!!:(

When I got there at 8 a.m., there was already a line in front of me. They had opened early apparantly. They told me they took no reservations and that they were booked up and I would have to wait in the back of the line. That would have been fine, except they were extremely rude in doing so. Being a woman from Kentucky after having to transfer here for my job, I don't know if they thought they could pull one over on me or if they lie to and cheat every customer! I knew something was wrong when they started whispering and going over all the filters on the wall. Then they called someone.
