I'm so impressed by her professionalism and organizational skills... add this to the fact she has such a kind and helpful heart she made for the perfect person to support us during our day. Without her, our day wouldn't have been the same. She made sure everything ran smoothly and it was the magical day we had dreamed of. She made sure all of the decorations were completed. She also made sure that during the wedding our guest book was signed, pictures were taken, favors were passed and so much more. There was so much more that Donna did to make our day flow smoothly and perfectly. We have absolutely no regrets in picking this location - it was everything we could have hoped for. I would like to apologize for taking this long to send this letter. We have had a few deaths in our family to deal with and I am just now able to get my thoughts together. I would like to begin with thanking Ms. Kitty who I dealt with regarding the payments. This event was put on by 7 siblings, and 19 grandchildren, each paying a portion and living all over the United States. So the headache of that situation was handled with sincere grace and professionalism by Ms. Kitty. She never showed any frustration, even though I was ready to strangle my family. Secondly, and not in order of appreciation, we would like to thank Mr. Richard who was the EVERYTHING to the event. He was so accommodating to my craziness. I am a very very particular person whose OCD really gets out of control sometimes, and he never wavered in his professionalism. I kept changing things, and adding things, and requesting things, and needing things and on and on....and he always said, yes we can do that. Even up to the day of the event...he made so many accommodations for me and my family. He has the best temperament for a person in his position, because you never know when he is fed up with your request and changes. And now to the event!! When I chose the Westminster location it was because of the price, so I did not think we would get the same service that I was used to getting at the Security location which I have been in attendance dozens of times. WRONG!! I can't put into words how we were treated at this event by the staff of Martins Westminster. Every request, change and extras were done to perfection; and it was so beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and well-seasoned (which was one of my many requests). The interactions that my guest had with the staff were pleasant and professional. The event was a memorable one for my Mother (Ms Ella Byrd), that she calls me every day to reminisce about it. I will choose this location over All the Martin's locations. I have absolutely NO complaints (and that's big for me) with regards to my dealings with Martin's Westminster and would recommend it over and over. We had a tuxedo cake with a caramel flavored filling and got many compliments. The DJ (DJDELIGHTS) was also awesome! They played all the songs we wanted and kept the dance floor busy! Connectivity not an issue. A little hard to find Zigbone, as there is zero signage along the way, save a small one right at the entrance. There is a beautiful pond with a small house next to it, and the wedding was held right in front of this house with the backdrop of the pond that had a large spraying fountain at it's center. A large weeping willow tree stands at the edge of the pond which the happy couple was united under. I think one of the things that really helped make this experience seamless was their staff who were really clear about where the ceremony was happening and gave us super clear instructions about how to get back to the reception hall after. But yes, the reception hall was really incredible. The cocktail hour took place in the downstairs which is a really nice room that goes out to a stunning patio, screened in porch, and did I mention that the patio has a giant cauldron that they made a fire in while we were having dinner. The cocktail hour basement transforms into the dance floor and they had stuff to make smores out by the cauldron fire during this time as well. The staff at the bar was incredibly friendly as well. They have a REALLY good staff on their hands there and it really enhanced the whole experience. The large reception hall where dinner takes place is like the coziest most lovely log cabin style area with large couches, a fireplace, and windows that surround a good portion of the room. It really was just such a perfect spot for around, I wanna say, about 100 or so people. SO so happy for my friends who were married there. I'm definitely gonna recommend this spot in the future. People definitely sometimes tap me for venues of this style- and it's good to have an excellent one in my pocket ;).

For me the flea market is worthy of the 1.5 hour drive it takes to get here. The vendors are always varied with a mix of antique dealers, direct sales (like Mary Kay/Tupperwear), a host of yard sale items, and extreme couponers offering up their extra bounty. Being that it's held in the winter I appreciate that this building is heated, has a small concession stand, and clean rest room facilities. It's located near a park and large hospital complex and relatively easy to find. The town of Westminister is adorable and if you are coming here for the flea do explore the main streets as they're dotted with small businesses and cafes. Molli's Cafe is my favorite and highly recommended. The street parking in the town is metered but waived on weekends. Fill up on gas before you leave as it's a good .40 cents cheaper than back home. Four stars because the ag center needs to provide seating even if just a few tables since they have a concession stand. Also the lot is usually a hot mess. If your fortunate to park on the blacktop consider yourself lucky. The grassy area is filled with holes and rivets and usually a muddy mess. One could easily pop a tire trying to maneuver their way in or out.

My family and I attended a wedding on October 8, 2022 which was a cold fall night. The property was…read morevery nice and the barn/reception was beautifully decorated. As the night went on the barn was getting colder and colder inside which had no heat and no portable heating for the guest. The brides father plugged in several small box heaters to help make the guests more comfortable. At one point throughout the night the owner (older male with gray/white hair) entered the barn and started ripping the wires for the box heaters out of the outlets and yelling at the guests making quite the scene. The owner then yelled at several guests saying that we would burn down the barn for just simply trying to not freeze to death. I then politely attempted to talk to the owner about his actions. The owner got within an inch of my face and yelled that he had a "hot box" and it was our fault if the building burnt to the ground (referring to the electrical panel). Now I am no electrician or expert by any means but I would assume that the electrical panel was not to code and was probably a 100 amp breaker box when 200 amp was needed. I then told the owner that he needed to respect his guests and to respectfully go about unplugging the heaters instead of creating a scene during the first dance and father daughter dances. The owner was a complete a**hole and I would hope no one would ever give that man another dollar in his life. Overall the venue was nice but the ownership is terrible and would never recommend.
