Came in to Middle James Brewery for the Music Bingo Night. Ordered some beers and headed to the back room and picked out a table for the family. Employees were friendly and helpful in pointing us in the right direction for bingo. Beers were good and poured from the tap. Picked 2 beers, one on the lighter side and a darker one too. Bingo was a hit and the whole family enjoyed it and sang along to the songs they knew including myself. First time playing bingo and enjoying beers and we really had fun. I almost won blackout, BUT, I beat out by one, noooooooo. Oh well, you win some and you lose some it's about having fun. Ambulance was very fun.

In the verdant lands of Waxhaw, where the gentle breeze whispers secrets through ancient oaks and the sun bathes all in golden splendor, there lies Middle Jame Brewery. Here, amidst the clatter of vessels and hum of earnest toil, is brewed a libation worthy of song--a hazy elixir known as "Talk to me Joose." This potion, crafted with both skill and artistry, is no ordinary beverage but rather a testament to the craft of those who toil under the vigilant eyes of the Fëa. Its hue resembles the morning mists that enshroud the lands of Middle-earth at dawn, golden and imbued with a promise of enchantment. The aroma wafts forth like an ancient incantation--a melody woven from the finest hops plucked in the height of summer. It speaks of distant lands and far-off shores where the sun kisses the earth with warmth and generosity. To partake of "Talk to me Joose" is to embark upon a voyage through realms unseen, guided by the spirits of nature itself. Upon first sip, the flavors unfold like a grand saga told by an elven bard beneath starlit skies. The brew possesses a juiciness that recalls the ripest fruits borne from the gardens of Lothlórien, their sweetness mingling with the earthy undertones reminiscent of roots and leaves nurtured in ancient soil. With each draught, layers upon layers of complexity reveal themselves--a symphony of taste wherein notes of grapefruit zest dance with pine's whispering echo. The bitterness that might accompany such a concoction is tempered by an unyielding embrace of malted grains, offering warmth and solace to the weary traveler. "Talk to me Joose," in its hazy majesty, invites one to converse with the very essence of the land itself. It imparts wisdom and joy, coaxing stories from lips long silent. For within its depths lies a spirit akin to that which dwells in Rivendell--a place where time is but an echo, and every sip becomes a tale unto itself. Thus, let it be known across all realms: Middle Jame Brewery has birthed a creation not merely of hops and barley, but of dreams woven into reality. "Talk to me Joose" stands as a testament to the art of brewing--a gift from the heart of the earth, an ode to the endless dance of life itself.

We arrived about 7:30pm on a Friday evening. Parking was easy in a nearby lot and we could hear what sounded like live music as we walked toward the building. Sure enough, lucky for us, a live duo was playing on a small stage in front of the outdoor seating. "Sweet Talkin' Johnny" began singing songs from Tom Petty and we knew we wanted to sit and listen for a while. The interior is decorated with fun pictures throughout, which we loved. The portrait of Kramer from Seinfeld was perfect. My wife also reported the women's room has the famous picture of a naked Burt Reynolds from the Cosmopolitan magazine circa 1972. The men's room has the vintage classic poster of Farrah Fawcett and artwork of a dude on a toilet. We did not ask much about their variety of beers after finding the "Big Ass Umbrella" IPA, but we believe they have 16 taps, which, we think include both a variety of their own beers as well as other hard beverages such as seltzers and ciders. They also have a cooler full of assorted 4/6 packs which can be purchased. Tonight we were fortunate enough they had a food truck/trailer serving Nashville Hot Chicken in addition to the live music. Overall, an awesome experience!

There were quite a few people and we get the feeling there were alot of regulars. The host was a guy named Joe who said it was his birthday. There were 4 rounds and 5 questions per round. After each round Joe would come by and give a quick assessment of your score and take your card. Between each round, they were BLASTING Ska/Reggae music. We didn't place in the top 3 of the winners but we were close. We have all done Trivia in a lot of places and said it was OK. They have a very limited menu. The nachos were terrible even though I added chicken and pork. The chips and salsa were terrible. We all had the Cuban sandwich and agreed it was better than OK

The CHEFewezen was excellent for me while Mrs. K. enjoyed a non-alcoholic beer from their cooler. Lots of options here for beers and you can see the big tanks fermenting away in the background. With the beer, their large pretzel was tasty with the beer cheese (shouldn't there also have been a pot of mustard?) and we enjoyed that as well. Definitely a comfy and friendly spot for beer and good fun! [Review 53 of 2025 - 1242 in South Carolina - 23622 overall]

I've been four times. The best burger I've tried yet is the Butcher's Burger. If you're looking for a burger with a smoky flavor, uplifted by the richness of the pork belly and seared onions... I haven't found better yet in the city. CB&BG is home to the best side dish in the city so far. Fried Okra. A dish I am beyond familiar, but rather familial with being from Oklahoma. I've had it countless times. I have not only never seen it prepared like this, but I have never had better. Forget the traditional fried okra chips or medallions you're used to. We sat outside. & enjoyed mid 50's temps with the gas heaters going. We had a brat, chicken nuggets, cheese burger, chili cheese fries & salad with chicken breast. The menu said it was as 'lettuce' and when I asked the order guy if it was 'Iceberg' he said 'yes' I asked he hold the onions. I got NO iceberg AND I got the onions. Kinda disappointed, I didn't think it was the happiest d of an order.
