If Rog catches your eye and senses even the slightest openness to conversation, he will latch onto you like a tractor beam. Suddenly Rog is there--locked in, talking directly into your ear, insulting you, monologuing, and completely derailing your plans to enjoy literally any additional beer. Once the insults begin, your tasting plans are over. The only remaining option is to chug your beer so you have a socially acceptable excuse to leave. It's also kinda nice for other reasons like if it is busy you don't have to wait for someone to serve you and if you hate talking to people you don't have to keep asking them for your next round.
