I get a letter in the mail October 2019 that simply says, "We regret to inform you that Dr. Mehta is no longer working at Northstar and we are closing our offices. You will need to find alternate care. You are more than welcome to continue seeing us in our Cordova, Tennessee office" I have to take an uber to my doctors appointments. Because I'm in a wheelchair, I have to pay extra for a "special uber". To go from Nashville to Cordova would cost me approximately $350-$500 round trip a month. My only income is disability. That is 3/4 of my monthly income so that's obviously not a viable option. They said they would send my medical records. They did not. I called and left messages for two weeks and begged them to return my call because I was running out of medication I had been on for years. They never did. Finally, I call and there number has been disconnected. I pay $40 one way in uber fees to go there and they had packed up and moved. Had to pay $40 more to go back home still with NO medical records! I called the office in Cordova multiple times and they wouldn't help. No doctor would see me without a referral, and my medical records. I finally got my primary to refer me to another pain management doctor and he would do NOTHING without my medical records that I CANT GET FROM NORTHSTAR! Which, is ILLEGAL! I had to detox off of my medications at home which caused seizures, heart issues, among other things. They knowingly put me in a life threatening situation with their irresponsibility. The fact that they still are licensed to practice in Cordova blows my mind.

Corrupt, hateful, uncaring staff at every level of this sick excuse for a medical practice. Dr. Schneider should be ashamed - a disgrace to the field of medicine. During our 1.5 hour wait in the waiting room, the receptionist was extremely rude to us. But when the Amgen Pharmaceutical sales rep showed up later, they talked like old friends. For 10 minutes we had front row seats listening to the Amgen rep BRIBE the staff with new drug products. She brought Starbucks for all the staff that day, and scheduled to take the head nurse to breakfast the next morning. (Amgen rep pictured). When we were finally called back, the nurse stopped me at the door. "Patients only" My wife recently emerged from a coma after a bad car accident, and needs my assistance for all things medical. We've been to dozens of doctors recently, and this was the first time I was denied entry to go with my wife. We argued, but the nurse would not let me back. The nurse took my wife back in her wheelchair, and the door was locked in my face. Back with the nurse, my wife couldn't answer any questions about her health history. I knew everything, and was used to speaking for her. My wife BEGGED them to let me back, but they refused. My wife broke down in tears, and sobbing came back to the waiting room just minutes later. We never even saw the doctor. This practice isn't doing what's best for you - they're pushing as many hardcore drugs into you as possible because they get a setback, or other bribes, from Amgen and probably other pharmaceuticals. We fully intend to report this practice to the Tennessee Board of Medicine.

When I first saw Dr Le, he could not believe how bad my back is. He was very empathetic and I could tell he is very knowledgeable about what I was, and still am, going through. He takes care of my necessary prescriptions, and if I call for help, he immediately helps. I very highly recommend Dr Le to anyone who has chronic pain, no matter what the reason is. He listens and spends time with you! I've had to deal with a lot of different pain clinic doctors, but Dr Le would always be my choice! We drive about an hour and a half to see him but it is worth it! His staff are first rate too. Not only nice but accommodating and always willing to help. I've had to make several calls sometimes when pharmacies won't help but Dr Le's receptionist and nurses treat me like I'm a friend in need and work diligently to help me. What more could you ask for? A fantastic doctor and a great staff!

Not happy after my initial visit and will not return -- If you want pills, especially Opiods -- go…read morehere. If you want other types of Pain Management care before pills go to a different pain clinic. Office is clean with plenty of space, Office staff was pleasant and very helpful, appt was right on time with a minimal wait, first nurse was extremely nice and explained everything she did. So everything seemed great -- But this is really where it stopped. Next nurse came in and never introduced herself but wanted to see all my meds, which was fine since I brought them ALL along for them to look at and transparency. I have 5 x meds I take to help elevate pain. However, the only medication that seemed to be of interest was my Percocet prescription. My provider came in next and was very accusatory about my percocet prescription and why I had more pills than what I should have and immediately made the assumption my past prescriptions were for 4 x day and obviously didn't need a new script. The truth was I didn't need more percocet and wasn't there to get more opiods ... but rather for procesures of RFA and/or MMB's. However, she did not seem prepared to discuss this or was even versed in the protocol my CPS doctor uses but rather gave me some what if's and generalizations of what might occur. No plan, no timeline, no PAIN MANAGEMENT. She then spun the visit that she couldn't do anything without my past records and imagery ... however never left to confer with one of the doctors, no patient plan for care, no order for imagery, no paperwork to request for the second time my medical records or even the request for me to go get them and that they would accept them if hand carried (which no other pain office has excepted records from me but all had to be officially requested). With a confused look and faster than it began the visit was over. They seemed Content with ending this visit and scheduling another appointment with my same provider (not a doctor) in a month with no assurance that a care plan would be developed. I've been going to Pain Management clinic for the better part of 25yrs so I am understanding of having to go thru a new doctors protocols - none discussed. No future plan put in place. Basically nothing happened during this visit except billing me for an appt. I know many people need medications to make life even tolerable, however I've never been to a Pain Clinic who didn't know how to act when drugs were not the first, or as in this case, only real line of defense to combat chronic back, neck and leg pain.

He recommended an upper GI for me and glad he did! I found out my GERD is far worse than I ever knew! The practice will continue with his partner Dr. Rich and a new surgeon named Dr. Natalie Rampp. The staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend this practice highly!!
