Dr. Hilgenhurst has taken care of me for years. he has helped me in my situation which was rare & made it where I can still enjoy everything... and not doped up. He is very intelligent & listens and answers them all. I'm not sure why anyone is saying negative things ... in all my years (injections included) I've never had a bad experience. read more

I don't know why others don't like these folks. I think they are great! The doctors are great and the staff is awesome. I have fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions. They keep me going. Horrible and incredibly long wait times and unprofessional staff. I was an hour earlier for my appointment since I had to go to work the same day. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes just to be called to the back. Prior to being called back, I notified the front desk receptionist that my appointment had gone way past the time I was scheduled and would like to be seen as soon as possible due to work that day. She rudely stated that even if you arrive at the appointment time early or right on time, they cannot promise I will be seen by the scheduled appointment time. Then after finally being called to the back, I was forced to wait an additional 25 minutes in the patient room. After no-one came back to the room, I left without seeing the doctor. I honestly couldn't believe that they run their clinic/establishment so poorly. Patients are already in a lot of chronic pain and are not capable of sitting or standing for long durations of time; therefore why would they purposely make patients wait for extremely long times? To top it off, while I was waiting in the patient room for 25 minutes, I could hear all of the nurses and the doctor conversing over what they are going to eat and social media. It's really sad that their main focus and priorities are not on the patients. They can do way better than this. Unfortunately, I'll never go back to find out if they have improved. read more

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia many years ago, due to debilitating arm, leg and neck pain and migraines. I went to other pain and spine clinics who ordered dozens of tests including x-rays and MRI's (never of my spine) and took dozens of medications that masked my pain but never stopped it. Dr. Hilgenhurst sent me for an MRI of my spine and it turns out I have a herniated disk in my neck and disk and facet disease in my lower back which explains all of my symptoms. After injections, I am pain free for 6-9 months at a time and have so far avoided surgery and rarely need medication. great doctor who really cares about his patients being diagnosed correctly and receiving the proper treatment. read more

Dr. Hilgenhurst gets to know his patients and takes an interest in their lives outside of their medical issues. My experience has always been positive and Dr. H has worked with me to treat my chronic facial pain as effectively as possible. It never bothers me to make the 45 minutes drive from where I live to the clinic. I sometimes have to wait a little longer than I would like, but I know it is because Dr H and Clint are taking extra time with their patients. I have seen some negative reviews here for Precision Pain Care, but they are short on details. Makes you wonder exactly why they weren't satisfied. Be sure to check all the reviews, even if Yelp isn't listing them as recommended. I'm my experience, Yelp's process for selecting reviews is biased toward people who review a lot, which often leaves out the more typical customer or patient! I've seen this MD for about 4-5 years. To start- he does NOT care how you feel. In fact, he wont even make eye contact with you. He simply asks 2-3 questions and just types into his computer. So, you end up having about a 3 minute appointment, but wait! That doesn't mean your whole trip will be quick! OOOHH NOO.... your going to sit in the waiting room for AT LEAST an hour and a half-3 hours. Then, once they take you to the room, that may be another hour. They are so slow. They are rude! Especially a nurse named Casey. Who screamed at me on more than one occasion. They cannot be trusted to bill insurance correctly or handle prescription issues like getting medicine precerted. I had to deal with my insurance to do that when they claim it is a service they provide. ALL HE WANTS TO DO-IS INJECTIONS. He is working hard to get you in the surgery building. I let him give me a couple of epidurals. They were very expensive, and I was told I was in network (which I am for his office) but not that little surgery center next door- and they had to know that!) That didn't help, and he just wants to keep giving injections. its all about the MONEY. I was so angry at my last visit because Casey had once again screamed at me in the lobby in front of other patients, Which IS a violation of HIPAA , but even if it wasn't for that- the way you check into to be seen , you have to stand in front of the receptionist window and announce your phone number, address and birthday. VIOLATIONS!!! The waiting room is gross. Like used tissues on the floor. Nobody ever comes out to clean it. I was so worked up, I left in tears. I have been discharged because I didn't have my medication with me. But I finally feel liberated. I can go find a MD now that does care and will listen to me. I am free of this. DO NOT GO THERE- I PROMISE YOU'LL REGRET IT. read more

I don't know if the Dr. is good or not, never saw him. They want you there an hour before your appointment even though you are mailed your paperwork beforehand. The receptionist and the office manager are extremely rude. I will not be back. A service provider should have better customer service. read more
