I showed up and parked in front as I attempted to diagnose the issue to hopefully get the car started to at least get to a parking lot. Ironically, staff from surrounding businesses came over to offer assistance. The car place, nope. I watched as employees came outside to take their breaks, walk the lot and not once did someone stop and ask if we were okay. They did look. I sent my wife off as I waited for the tow. I was able to get the car started and as I let it run, I went to ask an employee if I was able to park in the lot for safety. He ignored me and walked away, looking over his shoulder to see where I was. I sat for an hour before the tow driver arrived. He even laughed that the dealership had a great opportunity to go for the assist and sell a new car. Nope. I wasn't thrilled the last time I visited them to entertain vehicles. I definitely will not consider them moving forward. It's not up to the business to assist a disable vehicle that's not one of their lot, it's not their job. However when the vehicle is right in front of your showroom, human decency would say to check on them. Especially when you have mechanics that might be able to diagnose, assist and make a few dollars in the process.

I let the Wi-fi trial lapse because I don't need wi-fi in my car. If my grandkids want to use their tablets on long trips, they can use my hot spot. But - at no time when we were completing the paperwork, or when the salesman was helping to setup the app on my phone, were we told that after a year we would have to pay $15/month to be able to remote start the car in the winter. I spoke with Steve this morning about this and he insisted they were all upset about the remote starts not coming on the key-fobs any longer. According to Steve - all manufacturers are moving to Apps and there was nothing to be done about it. Honestly, I think if enough dealerships and customers complained, maybe it could go back to a fob. And, if Johnston Toyota wanted to keep leasing customers coming back - maybe they should shell out the $15/month instead of just being 'sympathetic'.

He did not try to hide anything from us and worked well with us in terms of looking for the right car that fit our needs. We bought our used 2024 Nissan Versa (it was the dealership loaner) from Middletown Nissan last…read moreyear. We were not told it had a vehicle recovery device/notification system. Our USAA insurance was giving us a discount since last year. They inquired if we were going to continue the service (that we didn't know we even had) because our insurance is coming up for renewal. That is only one of the issues. Secondly, we had a Carfax that indicated that the vehicle had a windshield replaced. The salesman told us "Not to worry" about that. There was a small scrape on the driver's side door (at the bottom) Again, it was used, we didn't expect it to be perfect and so we let it go and purchased the car. Currently, the paint is now peeling off of the door, an expense we cannot incur to fix. And, lastly, the car came w/ a Key (not a FOB). I didn't want a 'push-button' start on the vehicle because one of my deficits from my brain surgery is the confusion that comes with something new. We didn't realize at the time that no FOB was available at all - or we were not given a key FOB. It's just one big disappointment. USAA is not going to make us 'refund' the discount that they offered on the vehicle recovery system (that isn't on the car to begin with) I have spent countless hours trying to straighten out the mess that they caused with our insurance carrier. I took it to the local garage we use in New Windsor and they told me, "Nope. No Onstar here" What the heck? I wished I could have kept my 2007 Sentra with 200,000+ miles on it. End of Rant

I chose a Chevy dealer specifically because I expected professional work, proper handling, and accountability. Instead, what I got was the exact opposite. During that visit, they performed their so-called "multi-point inspection" and claimed everything was fine. There were zero leaks, zero issues noted, and the truck left their shop in solid condition. Fast forward two weeks, and suddenly my truck has two major failures: * A leaking radiator * A leaking oil coolant line These leaks were absolutely not present before their service. I check my truck regularly, and I know exactly what condition it was in prior to this appointment. I brought it back expecting the dealership to stand behind their work or at least take responsibility for what clearly happened after their hands were on it. Instead, they quoted me over $4,000 to fix problems that mysteriously appeared right after they serviced it. The idea that both failures suddenly appeared right after their service is impossible to ignore. Something was mishandled during the flush or damaged while the truck was in their care -- there is no scenario where these issues were present beforehand. For a dealership that prides itself on "factory-trained technicians," this experience shows the opposite. I brought my truck in for routine maintenance and walked away with thousands of dollars in sudden, "unrelated" failures that were never present before. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be escalating this further, and I would strongly advise anyone reading this to think twice before trusting this dealership with any major service on their vehicle.

Both Toyota & Honda reps weren't as pleasant as they once were when I said I wasn't going to buy anything YET, though I had every intention of buying sometime over the next few months. When I stopped in this dealership I told the sales guy up front, I'm only looking and I am in no way ready to buy anything. Not only did he respect that decision he gave me A LOT of his time showing me the car I was interested in and all its features & functionality. I expected him to just be like, "There is the car, look and get out of here stop wasting my time!" But nope, the sales guy, Don, was super patient, kind and never pressured me to buy. He gave me pricing options, gave me ideas of what I'd be spending based on what I wanted but never ever pressured me in any way. I thanked him and said I'd be in touch in several months to buy. That was the end of that, Don never ever harassed me or pressured me to buy anything. Well sooner than expected I stopped in true to my word that I'd be back to buy from my sales guy. I went ahead and purchased the car I was looking at and the entire transaction was absolutely pleasant. My sales guy Don was amazing and his finance team was just as spectacular, but I guess finance always goes well when you have great credit; LOL! I know dealers get pooped on for service but the sales team at this location is superb. I can only hope and pray my service experiences are just as pleasant. All I expect from service is a smile and competent mechanical techs that can take care of my new wheels and keep her running smooth for years to come.

When I first purchased my…read morecar, my sales representative, Gary, was wonderful -- genuinely one of the kindest people I've ever worked with. I have nothing but positive things to say about the sales team. Unfortunately, my experience with the service department has been extremely disappointing. For the past five years, I have consistently brought my Acura RDX in for service -- typically on Saturdays -- and have never had any issues with my vehicle or with prior service visits. This past Saturday, I picked up my vehicle with no indication that anything was wrong. I drove home as usual. The next day, while heading to a family event, my husband noticed a strange noise coming from the passenger side of the vehicle. At first, we assumed it might just be moisture on the brakes. However, as we continued driving, the noise became louder and more persistent -- specifically when braking. I immediately called Acura to arrange bringing the vehicle back in Monday morning. At that visit, I was informed that my brake pads were completely worn down. I was shocked to learn that either the inside brake pads had not been inspected, or only the outer pads were checked during my Saturday service. At no point was this mentioned to me, nor was it documented on any of the paperwork provided at pickup. To make matters worse, I was then quoted an additional $600 to replace the brake pads -- an issue that should have been identified and communicated just days earlier. I was extremely upset knowing I had been driving my daughter around all Sunday and Monday in a vehicle with brake pads worn "down to nothing," without any warning from the service team. I trusted Acura's service department to properly inspect and maintain my vehicle. This experience has completely shaken that trust and has been a major disappointment. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this Acura service department in the future!!!!

Despite multiple attempts to follow up, the dealership has been unresponsive, and when I do hear back, I'm often lied to or gaslighted. I also recently received notice from my lender that they still have not received the necessary documentation to list them as the lien holder on the vehicle. This is a serious oversight and a clear sign of the dealership's lack of professionalism and attention to detail. The lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable. If you are looking for reliable service and timely paperwork processing, I would strongly advise against doing business with this dealership. I'm still waiting on a resolution, and at this point, I'm unsure when (or if) it will be resolved.
