On 12/9/2025, I Clay Wilson had a service appointment for the malfunction of the driver's chair massage feature. My service rep was Brian Kolesar. On December 18th, 2025, I returned To W.S. Chevrolet to have the now received part for the massage feature. Cleaning my truck myself (like always) on Jan. 4th 2026. I noticed a hole in the leather side door panel. I called on Healey office immediately to leave an email for the General Manager Louis Roselli. 10:30 A.M. No call back.. I called again and was able to spoke with Brian Kolesar. I sent over 3 pictures of the damage. Brian emailed me back stating he received the pictures and he would get back to me (this was at 11:42A.M.) At 1:57 P.M. I received a call from Matt N. (Service Manager) Matt stated to me: "No part was order". "Who do you expect to pay for that?". " It's a used truck maybe it was there already". "I will have Lou (General Manager) give you a call". Once again, Matt dismissed me and called me a liar. That hole in the leather panel back door driver's side was not there before service on 12/18/2025. I am the only driver of the vehicle. No one has ever sat on the back sit since I have taking ownership. I am the only person handling the vehicle, no one else at all. This is a refusal to fix the damage W.S, Healey Chevrolet caused. Problems started in September of 2025 was the customer service dept and has not stopped with the damaging of my Truck. I would like my door panel fixed. I will update what the next step will be. I brought my 2019 Chevy Silverado to this dealership on 11/11/2025 for a simple transmission fluid flush/exchange. I chose a Chevy dealer specifically because I expected professional work, proper handling, and accountability. Instead, what I got was the exact opposite. During that visit, they performed their so-called "multi-point inspection" and claimed everything was fine. There were zero leaks, zero issues noted, and the truck left their shop in solid condition. Fast forward two weeks, and suddenly my truck has two major failures: * A leaking radiator * A leaking oil coolant line These leaks were absolutely not present before their service. I check my truck regularly, and I know exactly what condition it was in prior to this appointment. I brought it back expecting the dealership to stand behind their work or at least take responsibility for what clearly happened after their hands were on it. Instead, they quoted me over $4,000 to fix problems that mysteriously appeared right after they serviced it. The idea that both failures suddenly appeared right after their service is impossible to ignore. Something was mishandled during the flush or damaged while the truck was in their care -- there is no scenario where these issues were present beforehand. For a dealership that prides itself on "factory-trained technicians," this experience shows the opposite. I brought my truck in for routine maintenance and walked away with thousands of dollars in sudden, "unrelated" failures that were never present before. Absolutely unacceptable. I will be escalating this further, and I would strongly advise anyone reading this to think twice before trusting this dealership with any major service on their vehicle. read more

If I could I would give this company Healy Chevy a negative review, definitely zero stars! I am writing this negative review after having the worst experience with the Healy service department. I scheduled a 7am Tuesday appointment for my 2020 Equinox and even dropped it off the night before since its my only transportation. I was told my pre-owned warranty covered electrical issues, so I asked them to fix my sunroof switch and check a leak that left a puddle on my back floor. Despite calling every day, no one ever looked at my car until Friday. I was told water was coming from Multiple windows, including the windshield and rear, but no one could explain why this would happen on a fairly new vehicle. They also claimed there was a foot of water and mold in the rear spare tire compartment and that nothing was covered under warranty. I decided to pick up the vehicle and asked them to remove the water before I arrive. When I got there, they charged me $240 for diagnostics and hadn't removed anything. I took my car to another shop, and when they opened the compartment to remove the foot of water for me it was completely dry/no water, no mold. This makes me believe Healy would have charged me for work that was not needed. Because of this experience, I will NEVER buy from or service my vehicle at Healy again. I have 2020 Silverado 1500 and I am having a hard down shift in the transmission, the service advisor informed me that the truck wouldn't be looked at for a minimum of 40days. After waiting a week I called the service advisor and left a message, he texted me to come pick up the truck and I'm #30 in line like I was at the supper market deli waiting for cold cuts or something. After calling once a week to check the status of where I "was in line", I got a call 4 months later and was asked to NOT return to this dealer and was no longer welcome! No clue why either...also bought a service oil change package im would like my Money back for and no one will return my calls about refunding me the money.... Stay away from this place read more

For years I had a great experience with Healy Chevrolet and the maintenance department was great, it seems ever since Lori took over as maintenance manager things have gone downhill, it seems she charges top dollar for maintenance repairs so much so, it was easier for me to just trash my 5500 car to the junkyard compared to the cost figures from Healy Chevrolet. The only thing wrong with my car was a ECM and every time I brought it in it was one thing or another, you have one thing fixed and another thing breaks. read more

The sales people are friendly. Because of that, I REALLY WANTED to like the service department especially after several bad experiences at other dealerships (Schumacher), and wanted to start fresh. But after numerous trips for the same repair at Healey and a lot of bad communication I have concluded that the service department simply is garbage like many other Chevy / GM dealerships. I waited 2 weeks for an appointment for the same problem that wasn't fixed before and was told on the phone the repair would be under warranty if it was still the same problem within 2 years. I came in and Brian at desk #4 told me that since the part was under the 36k mile bumper to bumper warranty when it was first "fixed", the 2 year warranty for the repair wouldn't apply as I am now outside the 36k mile warranty. He tried comparing the situation to buying a TV, but this was literally my 12th visit within the last year to a Chevy dealership for various repairs on a 2023 Chevy Traverse and my expectations were so incredibly low, and I didn't hesitate to give my opinion about how I was given other information when I made the appointment (and that person had to double check with someone else about the parts warranty) and I might as well go somewhere else and get some aftermarket bullsh-t until I trade in this POS. His response was: "Please don't talk like that, there are women in here." Like it's 1950. I spoke to the service manager and he told me to sit down, yet then took another call. I explained the issue and he mumbled "well I guess we gotta train our staff better" I walked out and will never go back. I gave them a chance and they didn't care to keep business. I have only driven GM vehicles for over 20 years since I got a drivers license, and my grandfather and father both worked at GM for their entire careers. I will not give my business to Healey Chevrolet anymore. I have a significant cash credit from General Motors Corporation toward a new vehicle to try and keep my business for all the problems they cannot fix, plus eligibility for the employee discount and none of that will persuade me to shop for a new vehicle at Healey Chevrolet or probably any other dealership. read more

Went in needing an oil change and my check engine light was on. They proceeded to tell me I needed over $5,000.00 worth of work to my vehicle! Funny thing is, they lied to me. I had a friend with his own repair business, check my car out. It needed less than $300.00 in parts and about an hour and a half of labor. A lot of which I could have even done myself, to repair completely! They will scam you and smile in your face doing it. I will never go back, nor would I EVER reccomend them. The repair consultants there are completely ignorant to how internal combustion engines work and do everything to try and inflate your bill. The worst part was, when I demanded to see the report from the scanner to prove what codes the car was giving they refused, and quickly typed up the diagnosis on their paperwork to try and cover up their lies. I was furious! DO NOT GO THERE, THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FEMALE. God forbid you know anything about cars either, they will go out of their way to try and take advantage of you. read more

Recently purchased a 2024 Trailblazer which was brought in for a 5,000 mile oil change. Immediate issues with smoke and bucking and brought back within one quarter of a mile. The service department accused filling with diesel fuel. My husband was the one that told them they overfilled the oil. Just apologies. First and last time I would ever use Healey Chevrolet in New Hampton, NY.!! I had my 2017 Escalade Cadillac towed to Healey 2 weeks ago as my car wouldn't start. Finally, after repeatedly calling Healey to find out why my car wouldn't start, the service department said that I needed a new fuse box and cable and I promptly gave them my approval to fix my car. Today, I went to pick up my car and noticed that my my radio, navigation screen was broken, the screen was in perfect condition when it was towed into Healey, being very upset, I asked that the mechanic repair the screen since he clearly broke it. I left the car at the dealership, hoping that in good faith they would repair the damage. No such luck, as the Service Manager Matt told me he spoke with his mechanic and that his mechanic said he never touched the screen and no one even entered my car. - Now this is a shout out to all you "guys" who fix cars...... since I am just a girl who wouldn't know about cars - because we are just girls!! -But, I feel this is a fair question - wouldn't a mechanic have to go into my car to make sure it starts after replacing the fuse box? -And another fair question is when you as mechanics are finished fixing a car do you or someone drive the car onto the lot afterwards - or does it magically just appear there? In conclusion, all you smart girls out there- trust me don't use Healey Chevrolet- unless you want to be disrespected and treated unprofessionally. read more

I recently went to Healey and learned they are very untrustworthy. I bought a catalytic converter with their parts department when installed and service with healey they informed me that the part was no good. However, they felt at they were not responsible for the part and was not going to warranty the part that is suppose to be warranted. The manager Matt began to smirk and smile because he didn't care and told me to do what ever i have to do because his policy is the Bible. SMH. My Mom decided to get a new car. She kept saying that 'This will be the last car I buy, I want an aqua one', which is her favorite color. We were to numerous other dealers, one even said we don't make aqua cars - there was one in the lot outside. Some dealers would look in their computer and try to find something to match the request. Terrible experience.....terrible customer service! The infotainment system on my car went out. Booked an appointment with the Service Department to have the issue looked at.....appointment was set for a Friday @ 9am.....car wasn't looked at until Thursday the following week! Received a call from service rep Lori that the issue required a new display screen.....total parts and labor $1050.00.....agreed to have repair done. Received a phone call the following Thursday that the display wasn't the issue it's now the radio for an additional $1600 + labor. So I basically gave this dealership $1000 plus was without my car for 2 weeks only for the issue to not be resolved due to a misdiagnosis which I'm on the hook for! I don't mind being overcharged at the dealership as long as they actually fix the issue, but I feel like I just made a donation to this dealership due to the fact my original issue was never resolved! read more

(here goes a condensed version of the situation) ..my boyfriend purchased a brand new 2022 beautiful, shiny silver Silverado in august of 2021, and By December it started having issues that they could not diagnose. This continued with zero resolution, and is still continuing! He dealt with Laurie there who is USELESS! He has called the dealership and asked to speak with a manager and no one has called him back! He has called Chevy who were little to no help! The long and the short of this review is.... Stay clear of this dealership because if by chance something goes wrong that is beyond their level of knowledge (which doesn't seem to be much), you'll be stuck with it! read more

Was given an appointment for 8AM on Tuesday April 4. Dropped vehicle off the night before. I called the service department at 330 PM on Tuesday 4/4 and was informed they didn't even bring the vehicle in the shop. Service advisor "Brian" promised me a return call before he left for the day . I informed Brian that if they didn't get to look at the vehicle that I was going to pick it up that night. Never got the call from Brian. Then I called at 630 pm and spoke with Chris in their corporate office . He assured me that he would call back before he left for the day and make sure I could get to my vehicle. Never received a call from Chris. Drove to Healey Chevrolet at 9pm to pick up my van and it was in a locked area. How nice . I live an hour from Healey . They just lost a customer . read more

I was very happy with the 2 sales and leasing consultants that I worked with, as well as the 2 finance guys that I worked with. Even the parts department was great at finding what I needed and helping me change my order. BUT, I am outraged by the way Chris "Action" Jackson, the Sales Manager, treated me. He was able to insult me three different times in one day. This is not the way a manager should act or conduct business. When I brought this up he started to defend himself and say that I was wrong, instead of apologizing. What ever happened to customer service. Walked into Healy Chevy with a pocket full of cash to replace my daughters car that was wrecked when she hit a deer. Walked in and two women at desk greeted us nicely then salesman walked over and asked what we were looking for and after he was told he said "go outside , all those cars in these rows are what you are looking for" turned his back and walked away. Is that how you sell a car nowadays? Never once did he ask if we saw a car outside, not were any keys offered to look inside the cars. It was like he couldn't be bothered. What is up with that? If you're out of state- do yourself the favor and have your car towed back home if at all possible. I learned the hard way. But, it also made me appreciate - and I always did- my dealer back home. Got towed in. Took a week and a half to finish. Charged me $100+ to diagnose something that could be seen within 3 seconds by anyone and I told them what was wrong. Actually had a mouse make a home in my truck while it was there. Charged me WAY over LIST PRICE on parts. Never in my life has this happened before. They blame COVID for everything. When the car was done- components were not tightened when put back together. They left a large tool in my engine bay right next to all the pulleys that I noticed after driving home on the major highway at high speeds. Imagine the damage that could have happened- and they would have said- wasn't us. Prove it. Oh And communication/ updates / call backs absolutely sucked. So yea- never again. read more

Check in process tends to take much longer than necessary. Oil change coupons and discounts are never applied to 1/2 Silverado's. The service and pricing seems better at Healey Ford. read more

I would give them a zero but you can't leave a star blank. We brought our truck to them on July 13th for a recall. Now today August 16 we finally picked up our truck. They gave us one excuse after another, they didn't have parts, they didn't have techs, well I'm sorry that's not our fault. So they did the recall for nothing because it's a recall and they have to, however when I told someone there I didn't think we should be charged for the service of something else on the truck or I should be re imbursed for the truck payment i had to make while we didn't have it for a month, they were supposed to talk to someone and apparently never did because we were charged $200. We will never bring our vehicle back there again or buy another vehicle from them and that's sad because I really like my car we bought from. So if I were you make sure they have the parts and technicians to do your job. Otherwise you may be waiting a month and they'll just say oh well. read more

I brought in my car because of a squeaky noise from my brakes on Fri 6/17/16. I dropped it off at 10am and I was called by Liz that my car was being looked at and was told that my brakes were dusty and needed to be cleaned and sanded down. I gave her the go ahead to do the necessary work on my car. She called me about 2pm to notify me that the mechanic said that he fixed it and I can pick it up anytime I wish. Due to me working, I picked it up when I could, which was a little before 5pm and the service center is open until 6pm. I paid for the work done and left, only to find out that once I started driving and pressing on my brakes, the exact same squeaky noise was heard at the same volume that I brought it in for. I went inside to notify Liz that my car wasn't fixed at all and that what I brought it in for, wasn't rectified. She told me that the mechanics already left at 5pm, even though they're open until 6pm and that I would need to make an appointment for the following Monday with the mechanic to go for a drive and then make another appointment for it to be fixed. Needless to say, I'm not happy at all with the service that was done on my Chevy Sonic and that I wasn't happy to the point that I'm looking into trading in my car, which is in excellent condition and I've only had it for 31 months, just so I don't have to deal with this half hearted service on my car that I paid good money for. read more

This Place is a complete CIRCUS with some of the most Disrespectful, Arrogant and lazy staff I've ever done business with. The only positive thing i can say is about Ed K. And Brandon P as they where wonderful. My story starts out cut and dry we dealt with Ed.k and got a deal on a 2018 silverado we where comfortable with. I took a few nights to think it over and decided to purchase the truck Unfortunately Ed was on vacation (which is totally understandable). I had called up trying to reach ed for a few days, i kept getting the lazy receptionist who had no time to answer my questions on weather or not ed was there or not! When i would call she just kept sending me thru to his voicemail. After a few days i started sending text messages thru the website which where not being answered and messages with the receptionist for help because i wanted to buy this truck. I finally reached a female reps name who i can't recall. I asked her to look into my deal i worked with ed as a few things where going to change. She had no intrest whatsoever in my deal or helping me out. So i abruptly ended the call and was going to move on. The next day a Brandon p called me and said he was taking over Ed,s sale and would be working with me from this point on. I had explained to him i was no longer intrested in doing business with healey because of the recent treatment i had gone thru with the dealership so far. He was very apologetic and requested i give him another shot to work with me which i agreed. According to brandon the truck i was intrested in had been sold which i was ok with because there where others in inventory that i was intrested in. Brandon and i talked back and forth for a few days before i decided to come up and run the numbers and run my credit. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and started the normal back and forth negotiations which we all know is a cat and mouse game. The end of my patience was when brandon introduced me to his manager Glenn B. Who proceeded to Talk over and belittle every word i said. Glenn B is one of the most rude,arrogant obnoxious people let alone professional i have ever dealt with in my life. Regardless if you think my or anybody elses offer is no good you have no right disrespecting people because of it. I sat there for a few minutes trying to focus on the negotiations but felt like i was getting scolded by my Grandfather. We both decided we where done. Him with my offer and me with his disrespectful attitude. I shook Brandon's hand for all his help and moved on. My treatment over a 2 week period was uncalled for and unacceptable as a paying customer. If you're going to go to W.S. Healey in Middletown, make sure you ask for John Donato as a salesman!!!! My buying experience was pleasant from the moment I stepped foot into the door, until the day I drove away in my new chevy!!! John was by far the best salesman I've ever dealt with in the dealership business! He was knowledgeable, understanding, patient and just a great salesman!! He wasn't the kind of guy to "strong arm" you into something you didn't want. He listened to what I wanted, and came through in the end! I went in to test drive a certain vehicle. He immediately got the keys and had the car ready without even asking about my purchasing time frame or trade-in or down payment, etc, etc. I left the dealership without giving him any ideas as to when I would purchase or if I would purchase at all. John followed up with me a day or so later, and was very pleasant in doing so. I told him I'd contact him when I was ready, and indeed, I didn't hear back until I reached out to him! Purchasing the car was the easiest purchase I've ever made. John got me a great price, and hooked me up with as many rebates as possible. He did all the leg work on this one, and it was much appreciated. The finance guy was great. He got me a fabulous rate and informed me of all my options when it came to extended warranties and GAP insurance. He wasn't insistent on anything, and let me decide what I wanted to do. The car was clean and detailed when I picked it up. I had told John early on in the purchase process that I did NOT want any dealer stickers or license plate frames on the car. The day I went to pick it up, I was ready to tell them to take them off. Needless to say, I didn't have to, John had made sure everything was removed!!! I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and I look forward to dealing with Healey for a long time. They gained a loyal customer through this purchase. That's for sure. read more

I feel disappointed that my car was in service for two days and I was told all of the issues were fixed however after I checked the car myself I discovered one of the issues was not fixed. I am now waiting for a part to come in and I'm told between 5-7 days. I also did not like the fact that my car was given back to me filthy. No "complimentary" car wash done. I will say as a positive, the service advisor is very nice and a pleasure to deal with but for obvious reasons, I'm dreading my return as I do not know what to expect. read more

We purchased a new Tahoe on Long Island. We drove to Washingtonville for a family wedding, and when we arrived at the hotel our vehicle died. It was 2 months old! Onstar Roadside Assistance called 2 other dealers who were closer, and neither was able to help us. Steve at Healey said to bring it in first thing in the morning, which we did. Their service area is run like a well oiled machine! While they looked at our car, their shuttle service brought us to a local diner for breakfast, and picked us up when we were done. Everything was done in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend this dealership! read more

Had warranty work done 2 days later a hose was leaking they said a mouse jumped up and chewed the line $1000 later it was fixed. I asked for the old part and they threw it out (so there is no proof) filed a complaint with DMV the State issued them a warning for violating the law sill out $1000. I signed up for the gold package for $700 to get 6 full mantanice including 6 full synthetic oil changes tire rotations car wash Etc. WHAT a mistake, most of the time they did not rotate the tires (I marked my sign) only once they did a car wash every time different excuse, And I do NOT trust them at all that they did a full synthetic oil change (since u cant see what they are doing like most other mechanic shops, And they are absolutely NOT good on finding problems and trouble shooting etc. read more

I just had the most horrific customer service and morally unethical experience at Healey Brothers Chevrolet, which is where I purchased my vehicle which is brand new. I received an email from GM stating we had a free service voucher to be used on an oil change or other equal value service. I called to verify that this was correct and to make sure I had not already use this voucher yet. I called 4 times and each time verified with different members of the service dept that under my specific vin number that I did have a free oil change entitlement. Each and every time the double checked or so they said and did not, when I arrived the first thing I was told after they took my vehicle back was, just so you know I cant do this for free you already redeemed your free oil change I was shocked. Lori in the service dept has an unprofessional and cold demeanor, I immediately explained my confusion I even pulled up the email I had received showing we were entitled to a free oil change through GM, however she said she couldn't do anything and basically didn't care that I had an email or proof. I then asked why had 4 different team members verified this was valid and correct and then scheduled me for an appointment? She said even though that happened there was nothing she could do. Not once did she even apologize for her team not preforming their job correctly. This is not how a professional dealership service dept should conduct bussiness. This is very sad, and gives the overall healey brand a bad name. read more

I needed emergency service. I was given a same day appt. They didn't have any rental cars available, but drove me down the street to Enterprise, where I secured a rental car. Lori (service writer?) was very nice and called to keep me abreast on everything and ETA of completion. My car was ready in 2 days, seems like a timely manner due to the work it needed. Everyone I spoke with there was kind and courteous. Superb customer service. I had an excellent experience and will definitely be returning for service when needed. read more

I bought my truck from Barton Birks in Newburgh 4 years ago. Today I got a letter, fake, made to look like a printed out email suggesting that someone wants to buy my truck from Healey in New Hampton... but I have to call them within 2 weeks because the buyer is 'going on vacation'. It proceeds to offer me a new vehicle for 0 down, sign and drive, etc. This is a very shady sales method designed to prey on people's desire to be special and wanted. At best it's an empty promise, at worse it's extending debt people don't need. read more

Many pros,only one con. After a bad experience at a different dealership, I used the inventory checker on the Chevy web site. I saw the car I was looking for at Healey in New Hampton. The web site shows available rebates for individual vehicles and applies them to the MSRP showing a price. My only issue is that the "request a quote" results in the dealer calling you back promptly, but only to set up an appointment, but not providing a quote. For a person hoping to get an actual quote this could be off putting. That's not really a show stopper since even with a quote, most people would go in anyway to work on an actual sale price. I went in and was introduced to Frank Ennis. I explained what I was looking for and Frank made it happen, in this particular car there was even an additional incentive available that I wasn't aware of but Frank and his manager had it applied. Frank worked through the entire process with no pressure to steer me to something else, instead just helping me with the specific car I wanted. An absolute gentleman. I found the price to be fair and before the additional incentive I was ready to haggle a bit and it was clear that while I was aware of the first incentive, the second was not apparent to me. Worst place to go. They ruined my credit. Walked in there with good credit and they ran my credit 20 times and they were hard inquires. So now nobody will sell me a car or truck because of this. Healey is no good. I advise to not go there. They seem like good people but when you get to the finance manager everything goes down hill. The guy Dennis they have for the finance manager is very rude. Talked to him about a truck and it seemed like he wanted nothing to do with me. He disappeared for 30 minutes and when he came back he told me I needed 18,000 down and that my payments would be 400 a month for 6 years on a 30,000 truck.
