BUYER BEWARE: Pricing, Contract Terms, and Risk Concern = AVOID! I went through Midgard's required online signup process and immediately ran into a major issue: I was asked to provide full personal information--including photo of driver's license and payment details - BEFORE allowed to review the contract. You can see the terms with AFTER deciding to move forward in the process. This practice is unethical, at best - especially when website design that way. The pricing structure also raised red flags. The advertised "Web Special" is a short-term intro rate. See Kathy H. Jul 9, 2024, review "I have been here 3 months and they have more than DOUBLED my rent." Also see Dennis D. May 1, 2025, review, "Billing is a mess. Quick to take money without asking. Customer service is rude and unreliable." There was also a disconnect between what I was told and what I read. Two employees indicated there could be a 12-month "no rate increase" option if I declined the web special. However, the contract I reviewed allows for increases within a shorter timeframe. The contract also places meaningful risk on the renter. It states the company is not responsible for certain types of damage, including water-related issues from other units. I came across reviews describing situations where renters experienced significant damage and had limited recourse under these terms. See John F, Apr 1, 2023 review (and video), "The storage facility had a roof leak..." due to *known* unrepaired maintenance issue. "Water caused $5K in damage... The worst part is that they want *MY* insurance to pay for THEIR damage... Stay away." Overall: Between the signup process, pricing scheme, customer reviews and very lop-sided contract terms in their favor, I recommend going elsewhere. IMPORTANT NOTE: Marybeth (Mary Beth?) was amazing and went ABOVE and BEYOND what anyone would reasonably expect. She was both extremely helpful finding great unit for me and a refreshingly, professional employee. Clearly not anything like other coworkers. Unfortunately, MB doesn't have authority to make the contract reasonable and less lop-sided in favor of Midgard. read more

I have been here 3 months and they have more than DOUBLED my rent. Doubled it while I have NO LIGHT since move in and the AC has been broken for 45 days! I have TRIED to reach them by leaving THREE voicemails, no callback. So went up there and got an email that I was told they'd respond to. TWO emails later, NOTHING. I have my rent on "autopay" however SOMEHOW it didn't go through since I complained and now there's a lock on my unit, yet no way to contact them. Edit- after using them for 6 months...billing is a mess. Quick to take money without asking. Customer service is rude and unreliable. Avoid this place as much as possible. Reyanna and Lee are the freaking dream team!! I walked in confused as ever because this was my first solo move and Lee the virtual manager popped up on the screen with bangs for days!! She was very prompt and kind with explaining how to use the QR code to sign in and pick up my vehicle. I then spoke with Reyanna who was an absolute doll, very personable and quick to process my order and share the sweetest pictures of her kiddo while I went through the paperwork and got a full understanding at how serious Uhaul takes it if I don't fill this tank up exactly how I found it Overall the experience was fantastic, this is a great moment for me since I'm moving into my own place for the first time and these two ladies kept the smile on my face. Sadly, Reliant-mgmt.com, owners of Midgard Self Storage is not going to take care of you when there is an issue. The storage facility had a roof leak which affected two of my units. It was a maintenance issue, which they knew about and had not fixed it. The water damage caused more than $5K in damage. Furniture, artwork, etc. we had to escalate to the management company and the area director did not care. No offer to move our contents to another unit. No urgency. And very patronizing. The worst part is that they want my insurance to pay for their damage. Stay away from this location and any others that www.reliant-mgmt.com manages. They really DON'T care. read more

She is gone above and beyond to assist me in obtaining the storage I need to move enormous amounts of items from my parents house out of state. Rented a UHaul for the day to move some furniture and buy a crib. I've rented 100s of cars/vans/trucks and my guy @ the front desk immediately made this the best & easiest experience I've ever had. Couldn't have been more clear and even cut me a deal on some needed add ons. Returning was incredibly easy too. truck was clean and in good shape. facility was very clean. free coffee didn't hurt either! will definitely be back for our next rental. read more

I only left because they raised price three times in one year.. The place is safe secure and clean. I only stayed here longer because of GINA the manager makes you feel at home and watches and manages the property like it was hers! They are overcharging people. If you have your own insurance they will still put their insurance on your unit. When you provide proof they won't remove the charge. They also will give bogus information if you want to complain to someone higher up. They say Reliant Management is who is in charge but you can't seem to get anyone on the phone I would give no stars if possible read more

The storage area was okay at first but the facility steadily raised prices (which is normal anyways) but then started parking uhaul trucks all around making getting into my unit more and more of a chore. They dont have an app or any online method to manage your rental, and they require an absurd 30 days WRITTEN notice to vacate with no pro-rated rate. the location in roswell,ga is bad business. refusing to properly cancel a unit i gave notice to in june! it is now august and i am still getting billed! i moved out of that unit over a month ago! i even waved to the staff member on duty bye & thanked her for her help! but a month later... i am still being charged for july and august because they want to rape my pockets. the information between the in office staff and the call center customer service reps is inconsistent & no help. i've been trying to stay calm but i am not paying for a empty unit i am not using. they are taking advance of people like they are getting bonuses from this shit. so for the 10,000th time cancel my mf unit. i paid my dues and gave notice before the month of june ended in person! now cancel this devil contract. please read more

It's kind of unbelievable that it is 9 minutes until the time that they officially open and the employees wont open the door. . Why would Uhaul allow me to reserve a truck at their location at 8 o'clock in the morning when they don't open until 9? It doesn't make sense on the part of Uhaul to rent trucks before a facility opens. read more

They increased my monthly rate twice in less than 6 months which resulted in an increase of over 40%!!!! This is absolutely outrageous and highly unprofessional. I strongly recommend finding a better company! read more

The worst. Apparently only have one employee working on the weekend---who would think truck rental and storage businesses would be busy on weekends? Waited twenty minutes for someone to show up-- when she did, she gave me a snarky "thanks for your patience---only to tell me after another ten minute wait , that the truck I reserved was not available. When we signed up with Space Shop (the previous owner of this facility), this place was amazing. Super friendly staff, easy to work with, flexible cancellation policy. These slimeballs at Midgard decided after purchasing the facility that they would change everything that was good. TERRIBLE rates, TERRIBLE customer service (the worst I've ever experienced at any storage facility) and the worst cancellation polity I've ever heard of.
