Well, today I picked up my not-so-recent Lexus, which needed a new front "under bumper" shield that was dragging, and removal of white scrapes on three corners of the car. Dave advised there was no point in replacing the bumper shield, which would have cost $1200 plus. Instead he wired it back up securely, advising it would most likely do the job..."no point spending that kind of money on this". I thanked him, asked for the bill for that labor and the touch-up painting...he waved it off and said "no charge for it...you can give a tip Bobby (who did the painting)", which of course I gladly did. WHAT???!!! WHO DOES THIS???? What an over-the-top wonderful culture and committed to customer service exists here. What a blessing to have found this establishment. Best Buy was inexpensive but bad reviews and only install their cameras. Not great feedback with install issues too. Other local auto electronics/performance shops wanted way too much for the install. $300 - $500+ to install. I even found the manufacturer of the camera system that I wanted to purchase had a local office and offered installation of their dash cams. But they couldn't install in my 2024 Honda Accord because my car was too new and they didn't have some of the needed wiring for new models. They could do it next year. I found Model Electronics after some searching. It is 25 minutes from where I live but local options in Hackensack/Paramus area did not work for me. I contacted via email and scheduled the install with Andy. Super easy. Installation is fantastic! Super happy with the results. No visible wires anywhere. Hard wired install. Great job all around. Came back a month later to get the same dual dash cam system installed in my Dad's Subaru. He is very happy with the install. Looks great. Charged a fair price to install in my opinion. Great price really. Very happy with that. They have a waiting room with drinks and a tv to kill time. Took about an hour to install each time. Quality work. Great staff. Fair price. Super happy with my experience with Model Electronics and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a dash cam installed.

It was a Dueler run flat tire for my SUV. Its a hard tire to find and usually has to be ordered in. I had no luck finding the tire at any tire shops in the area but finally i called this firestone and Mike had one in the back. I called in the morning and Mike told me to stop by whenever i had the time. I dropped off the car that afternoon, went for a coffee and a little shopping in the shopping plaza across the street and the tire was put on in less than an hour. Over the phone Mike was really helpful and easy going. Made me feel comfortable that i was coming into his shop. When i arrived, i felt welcomed and the process was really smooth and quick. Really bad experience at this Firestone, particularly with Luis…read more My wife went in for a routine tire rotation and asked them to check one tire that had a very slow leak. They found a small piece of metal in the tread, pulled it out, made the leak much worse, and THEN told her they could not repair it because of their policy. So she drove into Firestone on four perfectly drivable tires and suddenly had two choices: buy four new tires from them or tow the car somewhere else. If your policy does not allow you to repair a puncture, fine. But tell the customer BEFORE you pull out the object and leave them stranded. Give them the option to take the car somewhere else. Don't create the problem first and then use "company policy" to pressure them into buying four tires. What made it worse was that when I arrived to speak with Luis, he was already arguing with another unhappy customer and giving him the same corporate-policy runaround. The whole place felt toxic and extremely sales driven. This was not customer service. It felt like an aggressive sales tactic that put my wife in a completely unnecessary bind. I would not trust this location with my car again.
