Nothing but great things to say about Mike and the crew here. I got a nail stuck in the corner of the sidewall of my tire and needed to get the tire replaced. It was a Dueler run flat tire for my SUV. Its a hard tire to find and usually has to be ordered in. I had no luck finding the tire at any tire shops in the area but finally i called this firestone and Mike had one in the back. I called in the morning and Mike told me to stop by whenever i had the time. I dropped off the car that afternoon, went for a coffee and a little shopping in the shopping plaza across the street and the tire was put on in less than an hour. Over the phone Mike was really helpful and easy going. Made me feel comfortable that i was coming into his shop. When i arrived, i felt welcomed and the process was really smooth and quick. Customer service here is great. I'd recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Stick with a local shop, not here for anything besides a new set of tires or an oil change, stay strong though and don't give into the make believe these guys make up so many unneeded repairs, it's criminal. I have hesitated to write this review for a while because everyone at the shop was so nice and helpful, and genuinely seemed apologetic about how everyone's night was going but I have never seen anything like this in my life. I tried out this Firestone location for the first time because it's near where I work in the summer. Made an appointment for 8 am and dropped my car off to get one tire repaired or replaced at 7:30 am before work, telling them I need it back at 4 pm. Ubered to work, left work at 3:30, back there at 4. They hadn't even started the work, my car was in the air when I arrived. I asked what was up, they said give us 10 minutes. I wait 40, then ask again. They found an additional problem and new updated time is about an hour. I literally sat there for FOUR EXTRA HOURS because at that point I refused to leave without my car. In my time sitting there I have saw four separate people come in and confront the employees wondering where their cars are. This one guy dropped his off at 8 am and came to pick it up at 7 pm saying he had somewhere to be at 7:30 pm, and they said "you should have told us that you needed it by then"WHAT I called and canceled my Firestone account credit card in the parking lot. Wasn't going to post this review but I went to get my car serviced at a different mechanic today and was in and out in a half hour, so it really put my experience into perspective. read more

If I could give a minus 5 I would. Firestone as a company is awful. After a minimum of 40 email exchanges with a promise of a call back in 3 days every time, 12-15 calls to corporate with just a machine and no return call, my problem and complaint went ignored from all angles. Started with promise of return call from regional, district, and corporate. Nothing. All started in December of 2025. Non existent customer service and hugely overpriced. And tells me I need repairs that I actually don't need. Find a local guy and give them your business. Always deal with an owner when you can. read more

Tom is great. Michael is great. Technician 11 Julian did a horrible job, scratched my Brembo brake paint, and when I complained to his manager, Rey, Rey did not take it like a man. I made an appointment on 11.26 at 11 am for a wheel alignment and wheel balance job. After the job, I realized my 4 brake caliper red paint got scratched off. 4 corners, only on top of the calipers. The wheels are alloy and they're very heavy. The technician Julian is apparently not strong enough to lift the wheel up in the air (industry car lift) without scratching the top of my caliper paint during mounting back. Based on the trace of damage, I can picture him bang it, hang it, drag it, then mount it. All the paint was flawless up until Julian finished the service. I talked to the manager Rey, he responded poorly, and turned around the table, screamed and accused me for setting the whole thing up, framing his technician. I simple told him, "I'm giving you feedback, asking your technician to be more careful next time, not asking you to replace or repaint my Brembo brakes". Then he told me if I wanted to complain, I shall call corporate. Thanks to him, I now do have a case # for this specific Firestone location. Seems like Rey flat out doesn't care, well let's see when enough cases built up, who is going to care. read more

TL/DR: Don't go here for tires. Go to Costco, ETD, Mavis, Pepboys, or any other tire store. This Firestone location is unprofessional and will waste your time. I brought my vehicle here twice for a serious safety issue with Bridgestone (which owns Firestone) Alenza tires. At ~9k miles, the original tires were shedding chunks of tread. In 2024, the manager at the time (Ray) immediately recognized it as a defect and replaced them under warranty. Fast forward one year: the replacement tires failed the exact same way after ~10k miles. I brought my car in and they kept my car for 2 hours and told me they'd submit everything for a claim. Days later, the new manager (Luis) said the best they could do was pro-rate the tires if I came back again for tread depth measurements (something they should have done while they had my car for 2 hours!) and only if I paid $170 for an alignment. This is outrageous. This specific tire is notorious failing in a dangerous way that's being widely reported on these vehicles, yet instead of taking care of a clear safety issue, the dealer made me jump through hoops and tried to stick me with extra fees. I got sick of the games, time is money so I drove over to a competitor and paid for a different brand tire. Bottom line: This Firestone location gave me nothing but runaround and wasted time. I've been coming to this location of for the past 4 years and every time I've come in everything has gone seamless and smooth. They are honest, and caring. I've even made random stops in just to put air in my tires because they got to low. They are always willing to help toj and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend. read more

This probably the worst Firestone ever. I brought my husband's work truck there to get tires done. I had to stay and wait for it (which took several hours). While I was there, it sounded more like happy hour in the garage area rather than a workplace. I am all for enjoying your work, however, if the work you are doing is shoddy, then perhaps you should pay more attention to what you are doing instead of having a dance club or karaoke day. They mounted the tires but they never balanced them, i drove off with the steering wheel shaking more than it had been doing previously. They got oil all over the vehicle's outside plus they missed a lug nut. They also charged me for a warranty which i never asked for nor did they even state there was one on it. I will never, ever go to this place ever again even if it were for free. Would have given 0 stars but unfortunately, yelp won't allow it. read more

I've been coming here for 15 years for oil changes / brake work / tires. The past two visits have been awful. On my latest visit I requested an oil change, tire rotation and new engine air filter. It turned out the air filter was never actually changed, the wheel lock key was never returned to my glovebox (they found it on the lift a week later when I returned and questioned them about it) they lost one of my hub covers (they replaced it free of charge when I asked about it) and they didn't properly reinstall the heat shield below the motor causing it to fall off in traffic while driving in rush hour. I had to remove the pieces which were still hanging onto the frame myself in the dark while parked in a burger king parking lot. I won't be going back. read more

My car sustained almost 5k worth of damage during a routine wheel balance and alignment. They admitted they did this damage and paid me $800 but the fix of this part - full steering rack - which never gets replaced unless the vehicle is in a bad accident (does not wear out due to mileage or age) cost $4723.19 total. I went to court and the Judge ruled in my favor. Wyckoff Firestone was served papers to pay but still refused. - I am filing a bank lien today with the Sheriff's office as this business still refuses to pay. DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE!!!! My car will NEVER be the same and they could have done the right thing and filed an insurance claim for the damage they caused but, REFUSED to. read more

They repaired the issue and charged me around 125.00 because I didn't buy the tired from them. They never called prior to competing the work either to let me know. read more

I've always had good service here. The clerks are consistently friendly and polite. The other day there was a mix up while replacing my tire which resulted in my being stranded there for a couple of hours. The lug nuts broke while removing the tire for repair, and the parts guy was delayed in getting them to the store. So as a courtesy they did not charge me for the lug nuts. The manager Gary is very helpful and all the employees I've dealt with are courteous and pleasant. They always match quotes I get from other repair shops. Their estimated time for getting work done is accurate. I've been there many times for a free tire pressure check and I've never had to wait and they happily check and put air in my tires. While it seems like there are a number of negative reviews, my experience was completely different, so in an effort to ensure their rating is balanced out, I thought it was only fair to share my more recent experience. My car refused to start yesterday morning in what turned out to be a completely dead battery that wouldn't even accept a jump start from my wife's car. I called Firestone to see if they could get my car in on short notice, and they made themselves available. The tow truck was able to drop the car off without issue, and the team kept me updated on the progress of the electrical test and battery replacement throughout the day, having my car ready after I got out of work. I thought the price was extremely fair given the work performed, and no unnecessary repairs or procedures were recommended. Their friendliness and communication through the day was unlike most mechanics I've worked with in the past, and would not hesitate to take my car there again in the future. read more

They document that tire pressure is checked yet drive home and back with sensor that "will shut off after a short drive." Upon return had 19 pounds of pressure. A total joke. I decided to do business with them since I blew out a tire on my way to work and it's close to my job. I couldn't go on my donut anymore and the guy on the phone was helpful. I needed 4 new tires installed and explained I was getting my car serviced where I normally do the next day and didn't need anything else. The guy proceeded to call me and tell me I needed to flush my brake system ($90) to get the wiper blades changed ($34) that I needed an oil change (which I was getting done the next day), to get new hoses ($212) that my coolant system needed service ($90) that I needed a tire alignment ($76), that I needed spark plug replacement ($141) that I needed a fuel system tune up ($90) and I needed a fuel system cleaner ($30). I declined it all. Today I brought my car where I normally get it serviced and all I needed was the tire alignment (which was $5 cheaper). The biggest atrocity is most of these parts/service he had recommended I had done recently. Imagine if I just agreed to all this stuff? The guy's name is Rich who I dealt with. Would never go back and strongly recommend anyone in the Wyckoff- Bergen County area to go elsewhere for their service, even tires, which I'm pretty sure I was ripped off on as well. read more

Went in there for a simple tire patch on 2 different cars over the past few months with brand new tires. Was told each time could not be patched needed a new tire. Went to a nearby tire shop and they were able to patch. These guys are crooks. read more

I am a regular here. I just read the previous post and just had to respond. First of all, the items that were recommended are just that. It goes by the owners manual based on mileage. Obviously, if you already had them done you wouldn't do them again until the next time the service manual tells you to do it...since you don't have your car serviced there they wouldn't know that and are just advising you for your own knowledge and to be helpful! I have never been pushed to do anything that I didn't want to do...and they always tell me what is recommended service as per my car manufacturer. I have always good, fast service and they are usually the most reasonable around price wise. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Way overpriced parts costs. I have a lifetime alignment package with them, which is well worth it. I recently took it in for an alignment but asked that they check out a knocking noise coming from the front end. They told me that the sway bar links needed replacement. The work was done and the noise gone, but at an expense of 400% the cost of quality parts from a parts shop. Unfortunately, I needed it done that day, so I had to accept the charge, but going forward I will try to find another shop that charges less. Or do it myself. I feel like they thought I was using their lifetime alignment so much that they had to make up for it somewhere else, by overcharging me for this. I understand an item mark-up of 150% to 200% is part of many businesses, but 400% is outrageous. I'll stick to just their alignments. read more

I felt rly comfortable w having them change the oil in my car. They taught me a lot i didnt know about getting oil changes. The staff was super friendly. I'm not a competitor or have never been associated with this business in any way. I'm just a resident who needed certain auto services recently. DO NOT GO THERE. If you need any kind of repair (not just tire related issues), do bother to do some research and get a proper service worth your time and money. Firestone at the branch in Wyckoff is eager to look for every possible opportunity to rip you off, just like some "speed oil change for $XX" places where their first priority may be to find a problem that does not exist for additional services for money. I had a tire where a nail was stuck and the air was leaking slowly but constantly. The car/tire was relatively new and no visible tear and wear was observed on the tire. The nail was "visibly" stuck in the TREAD close to the center line, NOT on the sidewall or shoulder of the tire. No other foreign substance was stuck or causing the leakage of air. I didn't have a good device to jack up the car and patch the hole myself. So, I made an appointment with the branch close to my house, expecting that this would be a quick job to be done. When I made the appointment, I made clear to the casher boy that all the services wanted and in fact NEEDED was to remove the nail and PATCH the hole, which would/should take less than 10 mins with their professional tools and devices. I didn't receive any "estimate for repair" call or "you are all set, good to go, sir" phone call even after 2 hours after I dropped off my car. When I called the company for the status, the receptionist's response was "Sir, we are still processing your order and I will call you as soon as your car is ready for pick up." I received a call back from the same guy in less than 5 mins (as if my call was a wake-up/reminder call), where he informed me that "the nail is stuck on the SHOULDER of the tire and there were a bunch of cracks on the tire, and as such, the hole cannot be repaired and the tire must be replaced." Finding no merit in maintaining the conversation with the chaser at a professional level, I just told him to leave my car alone, given that no service thereto had commenced. When I went there to pick up my car, I found that the mechanic hadn't even move the car from the parking spot I had parked it. I can tell this because I didn't do a good parking job there due to the then-existing surrounding vehicles which left no fair room for me. What the mechanic/company did was to 1) do nothing for 2 hours until I called them for a status, 2) rush to my parked car and visually observe the tire without moving the car into the facility and professionally jacking it up for a thorough inspection, and 3) quickly conclude that the nail was on the "bad" spot and the tire needed to be replaced. Disappointed and agitated with the treatment the national chain gave us, I called a different place to see if they could fix the issue ASAP. Surprisingly and respectfully, we could make an appoint within 30 mins and they indeed fixed the issue in less than 20 mins. As I expected, the nail was stuck in the tread far from the sidewall or shoulder and the small patch work was all I needed. Readers, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU WILL BE MADE TO WAIT AND BE DISAPPOINTED AND MAY EVEN BE MADE TO PAY FOR IT. To: Mr. BF S. of Firestone Complete Auto Care. I agree with the comment above about being pressured to buy more than the car needed. I came in for an oil change and they gave me a laundry list of what was wrong with the car, including a new set of tires and a new compressor. The compressor had been replaced about six weeks prior to the oil change :-/ So, it might be true that they made recommendations based on the age and mileage of the car, but they gave me the impression that they didn't even LOOK at the car to verify these recommendations. Needless to say, I would use these guys for routine stuff, but I don't trust them at all when it comes to any work they recommend. read more

I've read some of the reviews here and it's unfortunate that this Super Custom Service friendly place are victims of you can't please everybody all of the time, no matter how hard they try. I've been coming here since 2002 and I've always been made whole in terms of them ALWAYS trying to make it right. From oil changes, brake jobs, exhaust system issues to new tires...just about anything and everything concerning the upkeep and maintenance of my car, they've out-performed. Either when it's my wife or I who drops the car off initially, we still receive the utmost courtesy and respect without ever wondering, hmmmm... [you know what I mean] At one point, we had New Brakes installed... 'Yes'...we had to come back several times - and yes...they did make it right - they fixed it to our liking, replacing several components- now she runs and brakes beautifully. We've even had a Tire replaced whole while under warranty... no charge! Though the faces and names have changed over the years...They still earn my respect and deserve this very long winded and overdue 5-star review! Thank-you Firestone! read more

Scheduled oil change and ask to look at front of vehicle as there is a clunking sound when backing up. Appointment was Saturday at 5pm. They did the oil change and said they were too busy to look at the sound - which I scheduled an appointment for. They told me to bring the car back on a different day. Was told this by the shop then took the vehicle to an honest auto shop across the street in Wyckoff. Was told the hole was incredibly small easy fix and fully repaired for 28 dollars. This is a great business run by totally honest people who are also competent at what they do and try their best to be there when you need them. They do not try to sell you something you don't need but sometimes they find something you do need that you might otherwise not been aware of.
