A great place to sit and do homework. A lot of coveted seats by windows and outlets so get there at a good time to stake your claim. The coffee is always good and you can customize the heck out of. Theres always a nice playlist going in the background. I have yet to try to food besides the killer chocolate chip cookies they make in house but there's a nice menu of sandwiches, salads, and smoothies.

Stopped in for some quick food and coffee and we were pleasantly pleased with how delicious everything was! My bagel sandwich was perfect and my bf loved his panini! The Nutella latte was delicious and they had all the dairy free milks to choose from. Would love to come back and try more and loved how conveniently close this location is to my bf's place. Definitely seemed like a hot spot for college kids but still very welcoming to all.

This is a hidden gem for those seeking a cozy spot to study or simply unwind with a great cup of joe. The extensive menu offers something for everyone, and their lattes are indeed top-notch. One of the most commendable features of this establishment is its ample space, with numerous tables, outlets, and reliable WiFi, making it a haven for productivity. There's a private parking lot although the limited spots designated for the shop itself could pose a challenge during busy hours. Street parking (must pay during certain hours) is available. The ambiance, bathed in natural light, adds a refreshing touch to the atmosphere. However, be prepared for the temperature inside, as it tends to soar, especially during warmer months. Layering up or opting for lighter clothing might be wise. This is the biggest con but I'm still coming back because of the overall ambience and quality!

I don't know why this place isn't more talked about, what a hidden gem! I know previous business have tried to open up in this location but they've always fell through. I cannot recommend this cafe enough! their extensive menu including coffee, paninis, bagels, salads, açaí bowls, smoothies, wraps, and other super foods makes it hard not to stay for a few hours while doing homework because it's all so good! I stumbled upon this cafe after trying to get into Bitterend right down the street but they're always packed full, and I can confidently say this is my new favorite cafe in grand rapids :) come give this local business a shot, I promise you won't regret it! 10000/10

This place is good for bagels and breakfast!! However, their coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes it is very watery tasting.

A great spot to study or work. A nice place if you want a coffee shop vibe with actual food. But slower service and limited GF/DF food menu.

A decent-enough panini but it was really surprisingly small, especially for the price.

I've been going since late 2022/early 2023, back when they were just a vintage shop (with a cute cat) at their old spot further down Division. I first came across them at a market and bought a shirt (still probably my favorite shirt in my collection) but at the time they were pretty under the radar, so I forgot the name. Almost a year later, an old friend complimented that same shirt, which led to me telling the whole story. I was like, "all I remember is they sold spoon rings," and said friend immediately goes, "sounds like Otono on Division." Ofc I went there that weekend, and sure enough, that was them. Been a fan ever since. At this point, a good chunk of my wardrobe is from them. It's been really cool seeing how much they've grown and evolved, especially with the addition of the café. I think it's such a hit and fits their vibe perfectly. The owners are also super personable and the staff are always kind. I added a few pics from past visits, but I definitely recommend checking them out. And if you get lucky, they sometimes have cookies and other treats from Cou Cou Bakehouse when there are leftovers from her pop-ups!

Honestly, I am not a huge sandwich person, but if I heard a sandwich shop is good, I'll try it. The sandwich was cut in half and had their Michigan Turkey, bacon, avocado, and other veggies that you can read in their menu. The turkey was really delicious - like, really, REALLY delicious. It was so flavorful and soft. And the veggies like avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce tasted so fresh. I got it with sourdough bread, which was really good. It was a bit tough to put the whole sandwich in your mouth because of the crusty crusts (lol), so I just resorted to eating it with a fork and a knife (very proper). The food came out rather quickly, and the service was very sweet, friendly and down to earth. Ambience was great! Casual and friendly. There is street parking - usually, it's not too difficult to find parking around this area. But maybe I just get lucky, I don't know. If it's a good day, you can walk around and enjoy the scene with the river and park!

It was bursting with flavor and was nicely balanced between savory and sweet. I also really loved the Parisian and want to try the other sandwich options.
