11/20/2025 First time here. Read some good reviews, so decided to check it out. PHO - RARE STEAK AND BRISKET Pho is what I came here for, so thought I would order this. It was good, but the broth did not have that rich beef flavor. It tasted watered down. The overall flavor was clean and it didn't taste of MSG, which I appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed it, yet I was disappointed with the watered-down beef broth. They also gave very little bean sprouts, so I asked for more. The noodles were cooked well and the beef was tender and soft. HOUSE SPECIAL COMBO FRIED RICE This comes with shrimp, beef and chicken. The beef and chicken look roughly thrown in there, so it didn't look as appealing. There were only peas and diced carrots for vegetables. Fried rice had a clean flavor and it wasn't overly greasy. There were parts of the fried rice that was a bit salty at the first few bites, which makes me think they've sprinkled some salt on top before serving. This fried rice made for great leftovers! SHRIMP AND PORK SPRING ROLLS Out of the three items I've tried, these spring rolls were the best. It tasted fresh and the shrimp had so much meat on it too. The rice paper and noodles were nice and bouncy. Oddly could not taste the pork at all. The peanut sauce could have been made better. It did not have a good peanutty + hoisin sauce flavor to it. AMBIANCE / SEATS As soon as you walk in, you can tell how old the restaurant was. It definitely had that older restaurant vibe with the red booths. The table I sat at were sticky countertop in some parts, which immediately gave me the ick factor. But I drove there on a dark, rainy day and I was gonna eat there no matter what. Lots of tables and booths. Also, lots of people were doing take out too, so seating is no issue. CUSTOMER SERVICE It wasn't bad, it wasn't great, it was just okay. The servers did not check in after bringing the food. I had to flag them down later on. However, they were nice and did not have any attitude. They do bring your check to your table at your request, but you still have to pay at the front register. PARKING Medium-sized parking lot. It was nearly packed when I went there. It could be larger, as this parking lot is shared with other businesses. Would I return? If I was craving for some spring rolls or any type of fried anythings, I would come here. However, the pho was a letdown, so if I was craving for pho, I would go elsewhere. read more

Delicious Vietnamese food can be found here. It is on my rotation of restaurants on Sierra Avenue that I try to visit whenever I have finished my appointment at Kaiser Fontana down the street. I ordered their #78 which is a house combo noodle soup made with chicken broth. It is a seafood noodle soup with a few extra items added. This is a flavorful light meal that is not heavy on the stomach at all. There are large shrimp, fish balls, imitation crab, and slices of good tasting pork in the broth along with fresh vegetables consisting of bok choy, scallions, and broccoli florets. The pork egg rolls I ordered as an appetizer were delicious. They were freshly made and came five to an order. The filling was well seasoned and tasted good. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside. This is definitely a must order. The restaurant is very clean and trendy in decor. There is also a self service station in the dining room where you can get take out containers for their generously sized portions of food. The staff is friendly and efficient. Went to restroom to was my hands and there's noticeable lack of cleanliness and maintenance as well. Food came and had to ask for missed sides for my pho. I got half stem with a couple of leaves mint & small amount of sprouts (stingy) is what I got. Meat flanks were kinda dry and broth was flat. Fillet mignon was salty and not as good as I remembered in previous visits. Meat though is tender and juicy as usual. Not as fun and enjoyable eating experience as usual.
