Marcos Flores was the contractor for our garage to casita conversions at two homes in late 2024. He not only lied continuously throughout the project, but he didn't complete the jobs, lied about passing final inspections, and ghosted us. From what I understand, this company changed owners a little over a year ago and used to be a good company. The new owner, in the end, did not maintain our pool well at all. I suspected this for many months, but continued to believe his smooth talk that things were fine. Well, I finally had the water tested and the levels were very off - enough so that I was told by professionals that it was unhealthy and could damage the pool equipment. When I asked the owner to treat the water, he refused, saying the water was fine. Then he decided to quit cleaning our pool - effective immediately. I think this speaks for itself. Can not recommend this company. There are plenty of pool services in this area. There's just no need for this type of customer service. read more

Continuous and punctual service over the past several years. Most recently, Midnight Luxury Pools repaired and repainted our fiberglass pool. This was an arduous process, especially preparing the pool surface. The painters worked tirelessly, despite the extremely hot weather, and finished, leaving us a beautiful swimming pool. Midnight Luxury Pool Service did a poor job on my pool from May until mid August when I was out of town. I returned and saw the condition my pool was in. Hence I terminated the service and found another provider who does a very good job. The owner of Midnight Luxury said he "just fired" the employee and wanted a second chance. I disagreed. Service was terminated and I even paid for all of August. But Midnight Luxury Pool service invoices anyway and will not respond to my calls. read more

We have tried to get the warranties for the equipment he installed over a year ago. He will not provide them and we now believe that not all the equipment was new. He owes us for work that was never completed. He never once showed up when he said he would. We are going to end up having to sue him. read more

He and I had constant constructive communication about how to approach redoing my pool (which was in pretty bad shape and needed to be resurfaced and re-tiled). please do not consider using this company or quit using them. I tried them for a month and a half. The agreement was twice weekly and they came once a week. Never swept the pool and the pool was cloudy so I paid an independent company to test the water. Low on chlorine and the acid level was above 300. I had to pay to have the pool drained. when asked if he would split the cost, he refused. Poor service and the quality of their work is subpar. I tried to have Marco, the owner , make it right. And here's the update for this unprofessional and scary young man. Today we received a text from Jose threatening to turn us into the city for unsafe pool equipment. What this foolish young man fails to realize is: 1: If we indeed do have unsafe pool equipment, he was the one who served our pool for 2 years. So other than being an accomplice to unsafe pool equipment, why didn't he have the integrity to tell us about this while employed by us and fix it?? 2. As a home that rents to the public, we have had a pool inspection by the city and have a certificate of safety from the City of Palm Springs. Here is the text message that we received from Jose: Hello there . Thanks for the review . I will also contact city officials to make sure you as a home owner rental , property to get inspected by city officials ,with all electrical issues you have in the pool equipment . And light fixture of pool ., Take care . By the way don't feel offended by my team . Today I was Driving in Palm Springs add I guess me going 5 miles over the speed limit wasn't fast enough for the driver. On a 2 lane road with oncoming traffic the driver who I believe is the owner passed me in a no passing zone with on coming traffic. I followed him to his next appointment and asked him how he felt it was OK to put people's lives in danger and his reply was well I mean a hurry and you are going to so. I would not recommend this place based on just that interaction I've never had them as a pool service and I never would. I just had Jose and his team remodel a pool in my new home. Once again they did a beautiful job and I could not be more happy. We found a lot of issues with this pool, as it had not been updated since it was originally built in 1961 (other than a terrible paint job on the original plaster). Now it is up to code, safe, and beautiful. Jose kept every commitment and I continue to use MLPS for our regular maintenance. Both pools are perfectly maintained and we get a lot of compliments on them. I highly recommend. read more

I hired Jose Cruz because my former Pool Man was moving and recommended him. He is slick and sells himself as a total and knowledgeable professional. However, after less than a month, he tried "bait and switch" by telling me that I was going to get another man he would train that Wednesday on my pool. When I protested that I was an older single woman and vetted who got keys to my gate, he agreed to stay on but snidely said "oh, it's just because you want to look at me". STRIKE ONE! Then, I needed new filters and my igniter switch was not working on my heater. I gave him $300 up front. Well, after 19 days! my filters were installed. STRIKE TWO! Then he told me that I had a leak and that I would need 5 bags of salt per month....I'm not stupid, so I checked and my salt system said, "check cell". I cleaned it and put it back on and lo and behold, my salt level was nearly normal. I took my water to Leslie's and had it completelt analysed. When he arrived today, I told him what I had done and gave him Leslie's report. He said, he didn't need it, because he had his own testing system. He totally dismissed me. We were moving to the Palm Desert area and met Jose with Midnight Luxury Pools. We hired Jose to change our pool to a saltwater pool. When we arrived, it never worked correctly. We had two other people look at our system, both stated that used equipment was installed, the labels were painted over and we had to have the whole system reinstalled. They always come as scheduled and take excellent care of dealing with the many things that can happen with a pool in the desert that is next to a golf course. They recently updated my panel so I would be able to control the pool remotely and did a great job getting it working properly. He knows it's our second home and always has pool ready for us when we come down. We can even text him to start pool heater in advance of our arrival so there's never a moment wasted. When our pool pump gave out - he had someone come look at it within an hour of my call. When heater wasn't working - he fixed right away. He warranties the work and I'm always satisfied with his service. He's always fair with his pricing - and warned us of a price increase (first increase in seven years!).
