Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. My visit started with a phone call to the restaurant to ask about their lunch specials and to see what their health code score was, a 97, by the way. Morgan answered the phone and was very polite and knowledgeable. When me and my friend got to the restaurant we were the only guests but were greeted warmly by both Morgan and one of the owners, Will. We were able to seat ourselves so we chose a spot by the window. The place is recently renovated so it has much more space and lightly than it previously had. I ordered the compagnola but without sausage and my friend got the lunch special of a slice of pizza and a salad. The lunch special pizza combo consisted of a slice of pizza with one free topping and a choice of a house salad or Caesar salad. Pepperoni was the chosen topping, its under the cheese. There is no cheese on the house salad for the lunch special but for $0.30 it can be added. Halfway through our meal the second owner, Chef Christophe, came out and spoke to us and asked how our meal was going. The women's restroom was spotless and smelled nice. They also have a small dresser that could probably double as changing table and it held their extra towels, toilet paper, and even some female necessities. All in all this was a fantastic visit and I highly recommend it. *the salad comes with dressing on the side but I forgot to snap a picture before we started eating. read more

This is my second time to come here for lunch and this time I brought the family. This place has a great lunch special during the week and you can get a slice of any of their pizzas with a salad for $9...it's not available on the weekends but that's cool. So this time I had the Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus and the rest of the family did the fungi pizza or build your own pizzas. Everyone had great food with good conversation and it was awesome. Let me start with the young lady who greeted us at the door, Linsey! What a beautiful and cheerful lady! She sat us right away and was our server. My husband had the Lasagna and salad combo and I ordered the 12 inch Margherita pizza with extra sauce! Hubby stated the lasagna was perfection and the sauce was rich and hearty! We shared the deli salad, which was enough for 4 adults! The veggies were fresh and cold and the meats and cheese were fresh and full of flavor. My pizza was the best ever, the crust was thin and full of flavor, the sauce was like no other and bursting with flavor as well!!! The tomatoes, basil and cheese were fresh and tasty. So this restaurant is clean and tucked away in a midtown shopping center. There is outdoor seating, but when it's chilly out, indoor dinning is clean, warm and inviting. Great music to sing along with and all of the staff are friendly and fun. Give this place a try and enjoy some of the freshest and tastiest food will find in Montgomery. I'm being generous with 4 stars. It's really 3.5. We had a group of 7 late Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there, sonI kind of expected more attentive service than we received, but it was still decent. We came in and placed our drink orders and then looked over the menu. We decided on cheese bread, a large Caesar salad to share and two large pizzas. When our salad and cheese bread came out I was impressed with the presentation. The cheese bread was really a flat bread, but looked palatable and the salad was fresh and a good portion; enough for 4 people to share. However, when I took a square of cheese bread and dipped it in the red sauce that came on the side and put it in my mouth, I discovered with immense disappointment that the dipping sauce was COLD!!! Not room temp, but right out the fridge COLD!!! Why!?! I personally enjoyed the Caesar salad, but it got mixed reviews at the table. Some said it didn't have enough salad dressing and others said it needed lemon and more salt. When our large pizzas came out they looked and tasted great. We ate and chatted and then I noticed the last piece of cheese pizza. After asking if anyone else wanted it, I took it and bit into it, unfortunately the pizza was cold by then and didn't taste good at all. So eat your pizza while it's hot and ask them to warm your cheese bread dipping sauce. Service was OK, location is OK. read more

Great pizza, maybe forget the sides. First time eating on site at MTPK, I've ordered pizza to go before and it's always been great. The crust is chewy and crispy, not too thick. The right amount of toppings, sauces are so tasty and fresh. So they get 5 stars for the pizza itself, definitely worth it! Unfortunately, eating in was a bit disappointing. I know this side of town doesn't see much traffic on the weekends, because most people live on the east side now. But that being said, the service should have been more attentive with basically just us (my sisters and our kids) six people in all. The staff were friendly, but maybe on the weekends they are short staffed during the day and prep more for the evening? I can forgive that. Yet, the sides were lackluster. We ordered the Cesar salad, which myself and three others enjoyed. It's definitely an authentic Cesar dressing made with anchovies, squeeze some lemon over it and it enhances the flavor even more. Everyone else wanted generic Cesar, lol. The cheese bread was ok, it would have been so much better if the marinara sauce that came with it was warmed up/hot. It came with cold sauce! I was shocked. But the reason for the 4 stars is the asparagus, while cooked just right, was such a measly portion it wasn't worth the money at all! They were small scrawny asparagus and had them on a plate that was far too big. We ordered cheese pizza for the kids and the Regina without the prosciutto for us. It was really good. The mushrooms and caramelized onions were delicious on the pizza with the white sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it, will order out again. On the way to Florida decided to try due to decent reviews. My husband had the 3 meat calzone and said it was not flavorful, meat didn't taste good and the red sauce was VERY watered down. I had the house calzone and it tasted like the chicken had been cooked, microwaved then cooked for the 3rd time in the calzone. I had to pull most of the chicken out due to how dry it was and unable to swallow it. My 7 yo have a plain pepperoni pizza and gave 3/10 Too bad was trying to eat local instead of chain and wish we would of gone to long horn steakhouse for the wasted $45 read more

I dined in for the first time on a Thursday around 2:30. Had a service dog in training as my lunch 'date'.. A casual place, I was greeted promptly at the door. Server was great, professional, courteous, and great customer service skills. I ordered the Caprese Salad, Garlic Crostini, and Compagnola as the appetizer. Food was served quick! Excellent and beautiful presentation! (I almost forgot to take pictures! ). The meal was properly paced so that I did not have a whole table of food at once. Food was served at appropriate temperature. Flavor was good! It was fresh with quality ingredients. My entree was supposed to have 'spice' and it had just the right amount of kick. Another note, my table was never cluttered. Staff was very attentive and table was never cluttered with empty plates. This is a very welcoming establishment. Bathroom was clean as was the main dining area. Other patrons appeared to be enjoying their dining. Prices were consistent with the area and I did not feel shortchanged in portion vs price ratio. While they do have a small bar area, I would not hesitate to rate this as a very family friendly atmosphere. This place did not disappoint for a first time visit on ALL aspects of the dining experience. I have a new place to add to dining recommendations in the Montgomery, Alabama area. read more

AMAZING! Passing through Montgomery on a long road trip, we had the great fortune to find Midtown. Both the caprese and Caesar salads we insanely fresh and delicious. The sieue-sieue was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. My daughter almost passed out from the savory goodness of her mushroom ravioli. Our only regret was that we could finish our meals - the portions are more than generous! The service was also great - got it to go and their COVID response is admirable. Seating is spaced appropriately and the to go food was perfectly packaged. I'm appreciative of all restaurant workers right now and it's a major bonus when the food is also 5 Star! We are from Louisville and usually get pineapple on our pizza but it wasn't on the menu. I realize some people have a strong opinion about pineapple on pizza but if you don't like it. Don't get it. It would have been nice as an option. They have a lot of topping variety though. Just no pineapple. I liked the crust quite a bit and the toppings were plentiful. The gentleman that helped us was very nice and gave us plates and plastic ware as we were eating in our hotel. Was it the best pizza. No. Was it far superior to chain pizza garbage. You bet. It is a sad sad day when the best part of your meal is bag of potato chips. False advertising: I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to be made with italian cold cuts, homemade foccaccia bread (um it came out on french bread) and melted cheese--hah, whatever. I think "congealed" is a better word to describe that not hot, but cold mess. That entire sandwich was dead cold. The meat was also sliced very thick (a no no if you're aiming for flavor), which also made it difficult to eat the sandwich. The meatballs that came on our pizza were frozen. I went here with a group of 15. It's a relatively small restaurant, but they were happy to accommodate us. We called a few hours ahead of time and they had a table set up for us. It would be very difficult to have a group larger than 15 unless you were okay with being split up. I ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer and a small Trastevre pizza for my entree. I was driving, so I stuck with soda and water to drink, but others who chose to drink had a broad selection of beers to choose from. There was also wine. The Awesome: I can't say enough about the service there. A table of 15 mixed in with all the 2's and 4's scattered around the restaurant can be daunting. But our server was very attentive and constantly checking on us and keeping our glasses full (without being overly attentive). The Good: The bruschetta was delicious and beautifully presented. Halved cherry tomatoes for the topping and fresh chunks of onion, all drizzled with olive oil and vinegar. The pizza was also very good. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was still tender and moist even after running through the pizza oven. At $9, I felt the pizza was a good value, The Bad: The pizza crust was just a little soggy (one of my fellow diners sent hers back to be passed through the oven again). I think it's just the style of pizza and I didn't mind it at all, but it wasn't for everyone. The biggest issue I had was with the bruschetta. While it was beautifully presented, I expected a larger serving for $7. It was two pieces. The pieces were not small, but still not what I would have expected. The halved cherry tomatoes, while making for good presentation, made it very difficult to eat the bruschetta without tomatoes going flying in all directions. Overall: I would definitely go back again and suggest others to go. It's a little difficult to find. GPS will take you to the shopping center, but you have to drive around to the rear of the shopping center to find the restaurant. read more

There are ever present crayons for the kids to color on the table, which I really like. The draft beer selection is usually really good.
