Tiffany was helpful in choosing a bottle of wine for us. Pleasant music in the background. Four video screens with various scenery. We ate the mini Beef Wellingtons and they done quite well, tender flaky pastry and flavorful beef. The Creme Brulee wa pretty good, too.

The Meatballs and Garlic Bread at Midtown Spirits Wine & Bites are to die for.

I've been here once before, but it was a quick stop with a group of friends. There was a band playing, we had a few drinks and then we left. Tonight though, my husband and I arrived at around 6:30 p.m., on a Saturday. There was a nice crowd, but we were still able to get seats at the bar. Both Bartenders were friendly and very attentive, even taking the time to make conversation with us. My Husband had Wine and I tried the Cinderella Mocktail, which was really good. We also shared a Mediterranean Salad and Meatballs with Garlic Bread. So savory!! Unfortunately, we had to be somewhere so we didn't stay for the band, but needed to mention we had an absolutely lovely time!

    7/25/25 FYI. Flat bread.

This would have been a 5 star review if the pricing was correct. If you are following, you KNOW this is happening too often and becoming a pet peeve for me. Quality/Quantity - My buddy and I had a really good time here. Did not expect to stay so late?!?! And eat or drink so much... Everyone here is so friendly! From all the customers to the bar tenders! I think we met some new friends. Okay, for the food, we got the following: Crab Cake - Not firm enough for me. Broke apart when we picked it up. Can not recommend. I think it needed to be pan fried a little longer, similar to the french fries. Flat Bread - Spinach, artichoke, tomato. Wow! A home run! I love the crust! Made well, good proportions with toppings, fresh, etc! I will come back for this and maybe even bring my wife, lol. Side of fries - It needed to be in the fryer a little longer, maybe another 3-5 minutes? We like our fries crispy. And too much to drink. We started at Zephyr Wine Bar, but you know that because you are following. This is what we ordered: Flight - Sauvignon Blanc from Chili, Barbera from Italy, Beaujolais from France. Nice selection. Three glasses of Merlot, France. Two glasses of Cabernet. Atmosphere - Love the friendly atmosphere. Also crazy busy! Today the band really drew a huge crowd. A more elderly crowd, and I am told this is normal. Decent size location, like the remodel from the new owners (approximately 3 years ago...?); see pictures. Plenty of mall parking, but then again we also got here at 5pm, lol. Daily entertainment, see pictures and their website. Open 7 days a week, see their website and the pictures. But mainly for the evening crowd. Clean restrooms. But only one men's stall is NOT enough for a huge crowd like this. Always a line. Service - 5 stars, see above. Price - $147 + tip; includes a 4% credit card charge. The fine print said 3%. I did not bring this to their attention, but they really should update the fine print; especially since this is a current pet peeve of mine!! Happening too often getting charged more than menu prices. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success 2022. I look forward to my next visit!

Sunday evening, a couple girlfriends and I decided to come here for snacks and a drink. The atmosphere is always so lively when I come here. They had a band on stage, saxophone, keyboard and clarinet. Some of the older folks were dancing and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We split the charcuterie board ($40) between three of us and it was plenty! It's also served with fresh, warm, buttered bread--yum. The limoncello spritz was a winner. And the size of their glasses! definitely give this place a try

I really hate giving a bad review to a l8cal business but.....unfortunately they earned it...time and time again.... I kept trying to give Amanda and crew benefit of the doubt but 8 times straight I get the same horrible service (waiting 20-40 minutes to be acknowledged by a bartender???) Than...to be charged $18 for a glass of house red???? If I wasnt frequenting thus establishment yo support our friend's band (like most my friends and fellow patrons) I wonder if the doors were still open? But last night really brought it home and after keep on trying to look the other way and turn the other "cheek " for nearly a year i had enough! Guys, time to face the truth... you SUCK!

Loved our experience at Midtown Wine bar! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy with live music every night. The drinks were fun and delicious especially a mocktail we got for fun just to try it! The food is delicious and staff was very friendly and attentive!

My husband and I came here recently for a date night because we saw an ad that mentioned live jazz on Sundays. When we walked in, i realized it had been a quite few years since we had last been here because it looks completely different now -- and for the better! It's sleek yet cozy with nice subtle lighting. And the stage has moved to the right side of the door as you walk in. It's a popular destination with nearly every seat taken by the time we left. My husband and I sat at the bar where we had a good view of the band. Made up of talented musicians, the band played lively jazz standards along with more modern tunes. We had a couple drinks (IPA for him, a yummy lemon drop for me). We also ordered a couple dishes to share - the Spicy Italian Salad (it was ok) and the Spinach, Artichoke, and Tomato flatbread (very tasty). We felt that everything was a bit pricey but there is no cover charge to see the band so that made it worth it to us. However, I am really glad I took a look at the Yelp reviews beforehand so we knew to bring cash to avoid their credit card fees!

We ended up here with our neighbors after a nice dinner downtown. One of them knew a band was playing and we had never been here! It was packed! Definitely a "more mature" crowd if you will :) but that includes us sooner than we'd like haha. The band was playing oldies (that means 60s kids) and even though I'm an 80s girl i definitely still wanted to get out on the dance floor to "be my baby" and "will you still love me tomorrow". Hubs got me a moscato (didn't look at menu just asked for whatever they had so I'm not sure!) and I really enjoyed it as my quasi dessert. Great interior, beautiful bar and back wall of wine bottles that you can actually purchase and enjoy. I would return with this group in the future for a nice older crowd but still know how to party vibe lol.

Wanted to try a new place after dropping our daughter off at a friend's house, so we stopped by Midtown Spirits Wine & Bites and boy are we glad we did. If we wanted to have a quite sit down meal, this was not the time or the place as the music was flowing and the place was packed. The vibe was pure energy. Add vibrant decor, great food (potstickers and crab cakes were divine), and music and you have a fun evening. Will definitely come back, especially to try their sliders and/or burger.

This place is the best. The staff is so friendly. The drinks are excellent. The food is really good. And they have music every night.

After going to first Thursday at the Museum of art another friend wanted to get together and suggested Midtown Spirits Wine & bites. We showed up and the place was bustling with music and people. Thankfully there was seating in the back with the nice plush pretty purple seats. This is the spot to be on a Thursday night. We all ordered a bunch of plates, I went with the french 75 drink and chicken pesto sandwich. It was a great time, great food and great spot to visit and catch up with friends. The waitress was apologetic for the long wait and explained it typically is not like that on a Thursday evening. We all stated we understood and had an overall good time.

What a cool wine bar in Reno. Great u shaped bar and beautiful decor. Great variety of wines, cocktails and cocktails too. There's an appetizer menu for snacking. The three ladies tending bar while we were there were so awesome, attentive and engaging. Live music too! Stop by and check this place out.

This place is very nice. The service was great. They have a small house band that sounds ok. I did not have the opportunity to try their food. Maybe next time. The only negative, it is too expensive.

My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! I saw that they were advertising this show...and I like a good magic show. It did not disappoint. The sleight of hand and on-stage demonstrations were incredible. I was still banging my head of how they did it or maybe it was the cocktail at the bar that was playing tricks on my mind. As a guest of the hotel, I had a 20% coupon and promptly used it at the ticket office, though I think I should have picked my seat better. Nonetheless, I was in the second row and I was able to get a good look of the magic up close. She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!
