Brunch is all day on Sundays however they do have a lunch menu starting at 12pm, so we ordered from each menu. The ahi nachos were great, thick pieces of tuna and a great sauce drizzled over. The Mushroom Lover's Omelette was fluffy and had a LOT of gruyere. The potatoes it came with were herbaceous and very well fried. A friend recently came into town, and since she loves champagne and chocolate, the obvious place to take her was Champagne & Chocolate. When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. Champagne and Chocolate was pretty great! When we first got there we were seated next to the DJ and it was a little too loud, but we asked to move and they accommodated us with no problem. The music was a good mix of throwbacks and newer songs which made the vibe really fun. I'd say it's a little pricey, but they definitely have unique items you can't find at most places and everything we tried was delicious. Also, there's quite a few seafood options which I love & are always on the pricier side! We shared the lox crostini bites, charcuterie board, and ahi nachos between 4 people and it was the perfect amount -- satisfying without being too much. Might go again this weekend! Okayyyyy she's a vibe! The moment we walked in we were wowed. It's absolutely beautiful and chill. The staff were very friendly and there was a large bar but also lots of seatings and couches with a table. The live music was a great touch. I was starving so we got the Ahi nachos and chocolate fondue. The ahi was so flavorful and cut into huge chunks. The chips tasted fresh and homemade and it was topped with yummy sauce and fresh avocado and sliced Serrano peppers. 10/10. The milk chocolate fondue was delicious. I have dined here on a handful of occasions and always enjoyed myself. After my most recent visit I was already planning to write a review, but not one like this unfortunately. The vibes were high upon entering with my girlfriends who were visiting from out of town and this is the brunch I chose to bring them to. Our reservation was at 11, I ordered the NA orange creamsicle. It arrived at 1122. It was very interesting. Oat milk and blood orange made for a thick smoothie like mocktail. I enjoyed it the more I drank it. One girl had a berry bliss mocktail. Two had champagne and chocolate rimmed glasses and espresso martini, another a mimosa. However It was noon when our food came out, we'd been waiting a little over 30 minutes which would have been totally fine except one of the ladies didn't get hers, so I waited a few minutes before she told me to please eat so mine wouldn't get cold so I did but halfway through my avocado toast which is very good by the way, she still didn't have her breakfast. It was the "essential breakfast" which consisted of scrambled eggs, two sausage patties, "crispy potatoes" and toast. The chunky monkey waffle was also not out yet, but my avocado toast, a lox toast, chilaquiles verde and I don't remember what else my other girlfriend ordered were out. In the meantime we all did enjoy what we were eating but my bread was sooooo chewy the bread knife didn't cut it. She brought me a steak knife which must have been so dull because it also didn't cut it. I picked it up and had to bite into it which was fine because I liked it. but we started to feel bad. The waffle then came out and looked amazing. We were told that her breakfast is coming "right after", but it did not. It was approximately 20 minutes after our meals were delivered that hers was and it seemed that a manager or supervisor of some sort delivered it but didn't say much, until I asked why it came out so long after ours did as we were nearly finished with ours. She said something along the lines of the chilaquiles had to be remade.... Huh? Those came out in the first round. She then said there were new cooks in the back. And that was that. With that acknowledgement and my questioning of what the issues were I actually DID think they would remove her 17$ breakfast from the bill but they didn't. Ps those breakfast potatoes were sorely undercooked so please make them actually crispy :( I think customer service goes a long way in this industry. It's not like that really made a difference in the amount of money we spent, but it would have made a difference in how I now feel about the establishment. I'm not saying I'll never go back because I do like the avocado toast and atmosphere. DJ brunch is a vibe although it was a different DJ I'm used to, thankfully he stopped with the house music shortly after he started and played the 90s/00s r&b and hip hop we love. Upon recommendation last year from a good friend who just loved this place, we went. My husband and I were supposed to go to Reno last year, I forgot for what but didn't end up making it. He also felt the juice and coffee were also good too. I got to taste the sourdough bread and agreed it was good as well. I got the chilaquiles verde & the boozy drink named the orange blossom. I needed a break from studying and work so I came here. I've been wanting to try this place and today was the day! The liege waffle was delicious and the Mocha Royale was decadent. Servers were friendly. Vibe was lit and they have a live DJ during Sunday brunch. I was happy that I was seated at the very back of the room which was perfect since I wanted to simply space out. The backdrop was gorgeous! The only thing I hope the owners or managers would add is a phone stand or a way for guests who wanted to take a photo to be able to do so without asking the person who is dining. We ordered our breakfast, I had the breakfast croissant sausage, egg, sandwich with crispy, delicious potatoes, and my friend had the chicken fried steak, which both were phenomenal!!! They were quick to bring out your good piping hot too! While you are drinking and eating your breakfast there is a DJ, playing all your favorite tunes to sing along or not! On Saturday's, they have the Disco Head guy dancing around but I missed him since we went on a Sunday! If you talk to Marvin, the DJ, he has a party bus he can hook you up with too. There was a bit of a mix up on my Birthday desert. They don't offer the menu items anymore. You can have either the "Birthday shot" or a Truffle so I decided on the Birthday shot! Have always heard great things about this place and finally made it for brunch. It was a Sunday but we got there fairly early so wasn't too busy and was able to sit at the bar. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Chilaquiles with Steak. Eggs Benedict were fairly basic and had a ton of hollandaise sauce for our taste. Unfortunately they were out of the bruschetta, so we ordered the truffle fries instead. You know you're at a boujee place when they don't have ranch. The tarragon aioli is pretty great though. The crispy fries were well seasoned and paired great with the aioli. After ordering a second round of drinks (can't beat half price and heavy pours!) we ordered some more food. We asked for the fish tacos, the ahi nachos, the shrimp flatbread, and the Caesar salad with steak. The wait time for food was a bit long for how empty the restaurant was. Every bite was delicious! The ahi nachos were killer and the portion was huge as an appetizer/entree option. The fish tacos were great but the fish itself was just slightly under seasoned. The shrimp flatbread was interesting and delicious with a perfect spice level. It wasn't bad, just lacked a bit of flavor and felt like it was missing something. We also got the crab cakes and lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes for the table. Crab cakes were delicious and loved their shareable presentation! The pancakes needed a tang like a cream cheese frosting or something to counter all the sweetness. They were good but I don't know if I would get them again. Though I did not indulge in a mimosa, they do offer bottomless, with the option to add a chocolate rim, super fun touch and great way to highlight one of their specialities...chocolate! I DID indulge in some chocolate and took a lavender dark chocolate bar, a cookies N cream chocolate bar and a custom one to go! The custom is very fun and they give you a sheet to choose your base, fillings, toppings and can make it in about 20 minutes! I opted for dark chocolate, with honeycomb, almonds and sea salt. The bar was delicious, but did not hold up as well as my other bars for some reason and became VERY soft in my bag, while the other two didn't. A bit of time in the fridge fixed it and I still enjoyed it, though the consistency was slightly different. They have a wonderful selection of bars, truffles, and other chocolate sweet confections. The basque cheesecake is quite large and decadent. My daughter and her friends have enjoyed making their own chocolate bars. The service was great, while busy, the staff was friendly and while not needed, apologetic for things "taking too long" (in my opinion they only lagged a little longer than what should be normal so not a big deal to me). The food was good, I love brunch items and while overall taste was fine, I was expecting something slightly different. I ordered the crab cakes and I must not have paid attention because I expected two traditional crab cakes and received crab bites. Regardless of presentation, good taste. I expected to taste some lemon inside the pancake but there was none.. just a slice of lemon on top. These were only buttermilk pancakes. The blue berry compote was good but we needed an extra side, there just wasn't enough for the amount of pancakes. My reason for the 3 stars. We also split the not so basic breakfast and unfortunately it was basic... :( The potatoes were undercooked, still hard. After trying one bite neither of us ate anymore. We did order our eggs over medium but it also came with runny egg whites!? Sorry but no thank you:( A fun place to come for drinks but the food was bland and undercooked. read more

(4.5/5) In an unexpected location within a shopping center amongst a neighborhood of cute houses, you're brought into a parking lot where from the outside may not seem like much but once you enter it's a brunch vibe worth exploring. This is such a brunch institution that from the live dj sounds to the fellow tables all celebrating loud and proud, the energy was just high to begin with. The unlimited mimosa pour was a nice touch as you don't see too many spots offering that and yet here they were offering them in increments of 1.5 hours if I was correct. The table ordered a few different items and I went witht heir sausage gravy and biscuits plate (with a side of bacon, duh). The plate was pretty tasty; however, I would've loved for it to be hot. I think the plate might've been waiting out for the others to be done but it wasn't the end of the world. Now going back to the mimosas -- what is so unique to Champagne & Chocolate is the fact that you can get your chilled viking flute with a milk chocolate or white chocolate rim. It's a unique taste and recommend having one and then going to a non-chocolate rim. The whole bottle being served at a time was also super clutch!! What was the most unique spot to me was how they have a build-your-own-chocolate bar and they had so many options. This takes about 30+ minutes so totally recommend doing at the top of your dining service. All in all this spot is an absolute must!! read more
