My girlfriends and I made reservations for Galentine's day and this was perfect! Food was great, drinks were fun, and the atmosphere was perfect. Live music that switched to a fun DJ as the night went on. Our server was awesome! Fun place, but it can get busy on some nights so be prepared.

Okayyyyy she's a vibe! The moment we walked in we were wowed. It's absolutely beautiful and chill. The staff were very friendly and there was a large bar but also lots of seatings and couches with a table. The live music was a great touch. I was starving so we got the Ahi nachos and chocolate fondue. The ahi was so flavorful and cut into huge chunks. The chips tasted fresh and homemade and it was topped with yummy sauce and fresh avocado and sliced Serrano peppers. 10/10. The milk chocolate fondue was delicious. It came with strawberries, marshmallows and Oreos. The drinks were delicious and I love the fun names. We will definitely return to try more food and drink items. Also you can bring children in which is a huge plus for us. If you love good food, drinks and want a beautiful place to chill with friends..... this is the place for you. Overall a wonderful experience and one hell of a vibe.

I have dined here on a handful of occasions and always enjoyed myself. After my most recent visit I was already planning to write a review, but not one like this unfortunately. The vibes were high upon entering with my girlfriends who were visiting from out of town and this is the brunch I chose to bring them to. They have updated their furniture to match the aesthetic and it looks really nice. Our waitress was really nice but things came out a little slow. Our reservation was at 11, I ordered the NA orange creamsicle. It arrived at 1122. It was very interesting. Oat milk and blood orange made for a thick smoothie like mocktail. I enjoyed it the more I drank it. One girl had a berry bliss mocktail. Two had champagne and chocolate rimmed glasses and espresso martini, another a mimosa. However It was noon when our food came out, we'd been waiting a little over 30 minutes which would have been totally fine except one of the ladies didn't get hers, so I waited a few minutes before she told me to please eat so mine wouldn't get cold so I did but halfway through my avocado toast which is very good by the way, she still didn't have her breakfast. It was the "essential breakfast" which consisted of scrambled eggs, two sausage patties, "crispy potatoes" and toast. The chunky monkey waffle was also not out yet, but my avocado toast, a lox toast, chilaquiles verde and I don't remember what else my other girlfriend ordered were out. In the meantime we all did enjoy what we were eating but my bread was sooooo chewy the bread knife didn't cut it. She brought me a steak knife which must have been so dull because it also didn't cut it. I picked it up and had to bite into it which was fine because I liked it. but we started to feel bad. The waffle then came out and looked amazing. We were told that her breakfast is coming "right after", but it did not. It was approximately 20 minutes after our meals were delivered that hers was and it seemed that a manager or supervisor of some sort delivered it but didn't say much, until I asked why it came out so long after ours did as we were nearly finished with ours. She said something along the lines of the chilaquiles had to be remade.... Huh? Those came out in the first round. She then said there were new cooks in the back. And that was that. With that acknowledgement and my questioning of what the issues were I actually DID think they would remove her 17$ breakfast from the bill but they didn't. Ps those breakfast potatoes were sorely undercooked so please make them actually crispy :( I think customer service goes a long way in this industry. It's not like that really made a difference in the amount of money we spent, but it would have made a difference in how I now feel about the establishment. I'm not saying I'll never go back because I do like the avocado toast and atmosphere. DJ brunch is a vibe although it was a different DJ I'm used to, thankfully he stopped with the house music shortly after he started and played the 90s/00s r&b and hip hop we love. It just really would have been nice if they owned their mistake.

Upon recommendation last year from a good friend who just loved this place, we went. My husband and I were supposed to go to Reno last year, I forgot for what but didn't end up making it. Well, I totally forgot about it. A year goes by and I remember the conversation and I jumped at the chance to try it and he was not wrong. The Ambiance was like we went to Vanderpump's in Las Vegas, the dim lighting, small DJ booth playing smooth grooves, champagne and chocolate all over the place was just fabulous. I even love the tv screen playing clips with chocolate or champagne.....I.e. Willy Wonka and I love Lucy with a conveyor belt of chocolate. My husband had essentially b/f with coffee and OJ. The eggs were ok, the sausage he thought weren't up to par as he compared them to that of getting it at McDonald's, but the potatoes he did really like. Krispy on the outside but soft on the inside. He also felt the juice and coffee were also good too. I got to taste the sourdough bread and agreed it was good as well. I got the chilaquiles verde & the boozy drink named the orange blossom. Booth really good. Need to also give a shoutout to Jessica our server who kept checking on us, got us our Togo box, and was super quick with everything. We even bought our friends some of their chocolates and they were delectable. Thank goodness they are closer than Las Vegas and without the Vegas prices that way I can keep this hidden gem for myself. You know I'll be back..

The vibe is so cute here! I came here with some girlfriends and it was a blast. Food was delicious and the music was fun. The drinks were flowing at a decent speed. We had a couple photo shoot moments to end the night. I recommend this place for all the girlies looking for a nice night out!

Full bar and nice champagne/wine menu. We had all-you-could mimosa. They even have optional chocolate dipped rims on the flutes. The DJ had a great selection in English and Spanish. Folks were even up on the small dance floor. We are definitely going back!

I haven't been here since after they first opened, but they have only gotten better! We came in for a Saturday birthday brunch and had the best time! They've made some changes at the front of the restaurant which now includes more seating and a super cool champagne locker. The entire place is a vibe!!! They also made some changes to their brunch menu, which was great! Service was amazing and personal! We had bottomless mimosas (served in a chilled glass), avocado toast and the waffles. DJ brunch is a must-do!

This restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or just to make the day special! Love the DJ on weekends mornings and the bottomless mimosas keep the party going! We went to brunch and ordered the avocado toast, chocolate banana waffle and of course mimosas. Everything was delicious and service was great. It's so beautiful inside and DJ was so fun. recommend!

I needed a break from studying and work so I came here. I've been wanting to try this place and today was the day! The liege waffle was delicious and the Mocha Royale was decadent. Servers were friendly. Vibe was lit and they have a live DJ during Sunday brunch. I was happy that I was seated at the very back of the room which was perfect since I wanted to simply space out. The backdrop was gorgeous! The only thing I hope the owners or managers would add is a phone stand or a way for guests who wanted to take a photo to be able to do so without asking the person who is dining. I didn't mind it at all when a group of girls asked if I can take their photo but then a bigger group asked again and some even placed their purses on the table where my food was. But I understand with bottomless mimosas, DJ and a party vibe, I went with the flow. All in all, I enjoyed it and will be back again!

Kimberly J.

Great ambiance, kinda loud so close to the DJ, but very chic. Oh my gosh, they offer to sing for your birthdays, and then give you a champagne shot from the bottle with spray, or a bon non! How unique! Fun staff, great service. Food was so so, but service very accommodating. Reservation process was weird via Open Table because there were only 2 times and the start time of 11am on the restaurant website was incorrect. They seat people much sooner and serve much sooner. Maybe that's just Have pictures of the menu please. Hard to order unless you know of a small plate or appetizer will fill you up. Fun time. Would love more ability to share champagne.

If you follow my posts, you know I've had knee surgery. My BfF Carmem has been waiting for me to get better to celebrate my belated 60th Birthday! She took me to this amazing restaurant! I had never been to before! It's like a women restaurant to celebrate special occasions or just a fun get together with the girls and let all your worries go, and escape life for a couple hours!! The service is outstanding, Jessica was fantastic. Since we were celebrating my Birthday they told me I could pick from the menu a desert or a shot. I chose the desert since we were getting bottomless mimosas for 2 hours $22 each only Friday-Monday. They have three types of juice orange, mango, cranberry! Wish they had pink grapefruit which is my favorite. We ordered our breakfast, I had the breakfast croissant sausage, egg, sandwich with crispy, delicious potatoes, and my friend had the chicken fried steak, which both were phenomenal!!! They were quick to bring out your good piping hot too! While you are drinking and eating your breakfast there is a DJ, playing all your favorite tunes to sing along or not! On Saturday's, they have the Disco Head guy dancing around but I missed him since we went on a Sunday! If you talk to Marvin, the DJ, he has a party bus he can hook you up with too. There was a bit of a mix up on my Birthday desert. They don't offer the menu items anymore. You can have either the "Birthday shot" or a Truffle so I decided on the Birthday shot! Jessica felt bad about the mix up so they gave me the truffle too! The staff came parading out with a big sign Happy Birthday Chicky and they sing Happy Birthday it was such a huge surprise! I didn't catch any photos I was in awe. Thank you for making my 60th Birthday super special! I've already contacted my Birthday Club girls to organize our friend's Birthday in February. See you then!!!

Eggs Benedict

Have always heard great things about this place and finally made it for brunch. It was a Sunday but we got there fairly early so wasn't too busy and was able to sit at the bar. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Chilaquiles with Steak. Eggs Benedict were fairly basic and had a ton of hollandaise sauce for our taste. The chilaquiles were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. We ended up hangin out for a long time at the bar and ordered a lot of different drinks. My favorites were coffee and chocolate old fashioned and a Double Trouble. Also ordered a macchiato and really enjoyed it. At some point a DJ showed and was playing really good music throughout our time there. We also had a lot of fun chatting with the bartenders.

This spot is a vibe! I love coming here with girlfriends for a Sunday brunch or a birthday celebration. They have a dj, good food & even better drinks. The chocolate rim mimosas are my favorite! Very creative. The bartenders and waitresses are so kind and really hype you up. A little on the pricey side but still affordable for what they offer. Can't wait to come back!

Is there non-alcoholic drink options-mocktails?

Yup, they have some NA champagnes and whatnot as well as mocktails. The mocktails aren't on the menu I don't think, but they can juice something up

Is it appropriate to bring a 10 and 14 year old for brunch?

Yes they have an area away from the bar for families

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday. The joint was nearly empty aside from a couple at the bar. Plenty of seating for our large group in the large, comfy couches. They also have cool built-in seating around the perimeter of the bar, though not nearly as comfortable as the vintage furniture. The menu is sorted by glass type. A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! Others in my group enjoyed working their way through the many light, dark, and sour beers on tap. 1864 offers a classic, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to get a cocktail. The prices are reasonable, too. Definitely worth the visit.

Two other couples were at the bar having a great time with the amazing bartender. The bartender worked and talked like she actually enjoyed her job. That's hard to find these days. Also, when the hours say until close, I believe the bartender was ready to work until we were done. We didn't feel forced to finish up at all. The drink menus are massive and I mean massive. My first drink was a "New Rum Fashioned" which was a 3/5 for me. A little too sweet and muddled. My second drink was a 5/5. I can't remember the exact name but it was a mix between a Bloody Mary and a margarita. I can wait to go back again and try some more of the wild drinks.

A wonderful magic show inside the Grand Sierra Hotel & Casino…read more I was looking for something to do without leaving the hotel for a major conference. I saw that they were advertising this show...and I like a good magic show. It did not disappoint. The sleight of hand and on-stage demonstrations were incredible. I was still banging my head of how they did it or maybe it was the cocktail at the bar that was playing tricks on my mind. As a guest of the hotel, I had a 20% coupon and promptly used it at the ticket office, though I think I should have picked my seat better. Nonetheless, I was in the second row and I was able to get a good look of the magic up close. If you arrive early, you can hang out for Happy Hour, they had some unique drinks including the local standby beers and cocktails...and mocktails for those attending the all-ages show. I recommend seeing this show on a Friday or Saturday night if you want a bit more rambunctious, racy show.

After happy hour ended a bud light and high noon was $18. I can't believe they turned the old movie theater into a magic show theater. I sat there thinking about all the movies I saw at the Hotel and the first time I had a drink in a movie theater so long ago, 1989. It was fun in the bar prior to the doors opening they have a magical experience for adults and kids to set the mood for the evening. Tracy the bartender was awesome! She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!
