This maybe the longest span of tenancy for the WSM. In the past, I never wanted to like a business here because it would likely be gone soon. The vibe is kind of cool but feels a little like a commune or hippie collective with mostly vegan offerings. With that said I enjoy the food and service at Thalia and Sabrina's. The market is bicycle friendly with a cool bike rack inside the courtyard.

One of my goals for the rest of the year is to chill more. I don't have to do all the things. I just have to do The Things. I took advantage of the beautiful weather to stroll around town and meet a girlfriend at West Streer Market. We chilled at the vibrant patio, chatted our hearts out and enjoyed and enjoyed ice cream from Bibo Freddo. I love the variety of options (restaurants, bars, coffee) offered at West Street Market and the neighborly efforts of all the business here to make it all happen under the same roof, and give a fun, enjoyable experience to their customers.

West street market is a cute little collective of restaurants offering lots of food choices for every type of eater! There is pizza, Indian food and what my friend described as, "vegan comfort food." There are menu items with everything from meat to vegan entrees. This is a great place to go with a group as there are lots of options for everyone, and there is a common seating area for all of the restaurants. I opted for the pizza place, and got the pizza shown in my photo. It was really good, but a bit overpriced. $30 for a personal pizza seemed like a bit much for me. Around the dining area they also showcase art from what I assume to be local artists. Which I thought was really cool.

Love this place for the vegan pizza and Thali food! Delicious plant based options in a nice ambiance.

One of my favorite places to eat in Reno!! The food is delicious and plant based/vegan options are plentiful. The service is friendly and the ambiance is nice, especially in the bar where they really know their wines.

What a great idea. One place to gather with several types of food. I visited for lunch with my mom today, and we were able to have Indian, pizza, and spring roll style hand salads. Such a fantastic did adventure. I imagine meeting here with friends and trying a whole bunch of things as a group, while sitting around, chatting and catching up. The pizza was great. The vegan crust was not my favorite in Reno. Maya's was delish but a bit spicy for me. Deluxe made my mom an awesome wrap that she loved. It was a bit slow when we went in during lunch, but I imagine it being a great atmosphere at night or on the weekend. I do wish they opened for breakfast.

This might be the most under utilized venue in our great city. Every time I'm here I wonder why more isn't going on. They have a killer courtyard with tons of seating perfect for schmoozing, sipping, and slacking, along with a bunch of great resident restaurants that are happy to serve up the suds or pour that perfect glass of wine to help you while away the day. It's a shame that such an epic patio doesn't have a live band filling it with tantalizing tunes weekly. The interior is an incredible comunity space which, at one point, had all sorts of amenities including AV. But what it lacks now can always be brought in because all the infrastructure is there, not to mention great food and drink too!The place has so much potential, and it seems like a great candidate for community contributions so I want to see if we can help. First off, if you're a local band, or group looking for a place to jam or drum circle, or someone that knows someone like this, let me know. I'd love to connect you with the businesses to get something going. Second, I'd like to ask what you'd like to see at West Street? Last, what improvements would you make? Hopefully this review will start a conversation.

Went here for a birthday party, didnt really eat here but the staff was really welcoming and most of all the atmosphere was very laid back and yet seemed like a very nice place to eat. Overall the food looked decent, but since I didnt try any I'm not going to hurt them with a loss of a star. I gave them 5 stars on a clean environment, laid back atmosphere and a welcoming staff. Thank you guys an hope your business strives.

Love this place! Basically it's a funky answer to a strip mall in downtown Reno. Instead of big box stores it's a mix of bars and restaurants and meeting space. I'm not sure if the meeting space is still available. Many restaurants/bars have come and gone. The West Street Wine Bar is the touch stone being there the longest. Current tenants besides the wine bar -- Thali, Sol, Deluxe. Coming soon Icecycle Creamery and just across the patio is Eclectic Eats (I think that's the name) a few eatery with soups, salads & paninis). The seating options are many - bar seating at Sol and West Street Wine Bar. Table seating in Thali. Open seating in the main hall and patio seating. Lots of good stuff going on here so if you have been in a while it's with checking them out.

This past weekend I was going to breakfast down the way, and had some time to kill with the wait so wondered on down. This is a GREAT local music shop with small venue in the back. So many instruments and a very cozy/warm atmosphere. The converted house is the perfect building for this type of business. The owner (or one of them?) was quick to greet us and show us around the place. I tried out a couple of vintage instruments when I was there and he was very knowledgeable and informative about what I was playing. Looking forward to coming back for a live performance at sometime. They seem to have routine jam sessions as well as touring musicians stopping by the place.

We rang the doorbell and were greeted by one of the owners, Don, and his dog LadyBug. Don informed us that if we were looking for records, we were in the wrong place but told us to come check out what they DID have. Mountain Music Parlor is a cute little shop filled with all sorts of instruments. So many that you'll have to go see for yourself including endless ukuleles, cricket violins, guitars, and more. The most amazing thing about Don was that no matter what obscure musical instrument or accessory we asked about, Don had it! From cajons to violin mutes. He also showed us the performance room where they have different jam sessions including Celtic nights, Old Time, Cowboy, Aloha Ukulele, Open Mic, and Bluegrass. They also have music lessons available for various instruments. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon Mountain Music Parlor and will definitely be getting all of my musical knick knacks from them for the foreseeable future. Always excited when I can support great local businesses like this!

The riverside setting made for a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We started with the Crab & Salmon Cakes, and they were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and each cake had a perfectly crisp exterior while remaining delicate inside. You could clearly taste both the crab and salmon, and the slightly spicy aioli complemented them perfectly without overpowering the seafood. For cocktails, I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, and it was excellent. The mezcal's smoky flavor came through clearly, almost reminding me of a good Scotch, yet it had just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. If you enjoy spirit-forward cocktails that aren't overly sweet, I'd highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Razz Jazz and later the Rosé All Day. She loved the Razz Jazz, describing it as refreshing, lightly sweet, and lemony, with enough alcohol flavor to remind you it's a cocktail without being overpowering. The Rosé All Day was another refreshing choice and perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio. For lunch, we ordered the French Dip and the Tri-Tip Sandwich. The French Dip was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rich au jus. The Tri-Tip Sandwich was loaded with smoky, well-seasoned beef on fresh bread. It was a bit richer than I personally prefer, but the quality of the meat was undeniable. The fries were a standout in their own right, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Wild River Grille isn't the least expensive lunch in town, but the quality of the food, expertly crafted cocktails, attentive service, and beautiful riverside patio made it feel well worth the price. We'll definitely be back.

I originally made an appointment for 5:00 and was told that my reservation was at 5:30. I was able to go back and confirm that the l did in fact made it for 5. None the less they did still seat us. The inside was quite empty or so I thought and they sat us all the way in the back on the side that there were no other guests. We sat for about 10 minutes before another group was sat at the front by the door and then once that group got their waiter so did we. Apparently the waiter was also the bartender and the hostess did not notify her that we were there nor did she take a look. I ordered a burger well done which was was medium well when it got to me. I did have to sent it back and unfortunately due to the service etc. I decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. This was an unfortunate first impression, maybe I will try again and sit outside and hopefully get a better experience.
