One of my goals for the rest of the year is to chill more. I don't have to do all the things. I just have to do The Things. I took advantage of the beautiful weather to stroll around town and meet a girlfriend at West Streer Market. We chilled at the vibrant patio, chatted our hearts out and enjoyed and enjoyed ice cream from Bibo Freddo. I love the variety of options (restaurants, bars, coffee) offered at West Street Market and the neighborly efforts of all the business here to make it all happen under the same roof, and give a fun, enjoyable experience to their customers.

West street market is a cute little collective of restaurants offering lots of food choices for every type of eater! There is pizza, Indian food and what my friend described as, "vegan comfort food." There are menu items with everything from meat to vegan entrees. This is a great place to go with a group as there are lots of options for everyone, and there is a common seating area for all of the restaurants. I opted for the pizza place, and got the pizza shown in my photo. It was really good, but a bit overpriced. $30 for a personal pizza seemed like a bit much for me. Around the dining area they also showcase art from what I assume to be local artists. Which I thought was really cool.

Love this place for the vegan pizza and Thali food! Delicious plant based options in a nice ambiance.

One of my favorite places to eat in Reno!! The food is delicious and plant based/vegan options are plentiful. The service is friendly and the ambiance is nice, especially in the bar where they really know their wines.

What a great idea. One place to gather with several types of food. I visited for lunch with my mom today, and we were able to have Indian, pizza, and spring roll style hand salads. Such a fantastic did adventure. I imagine meeting here with friends and trying a whole bunch of things as a group, while sitting around, chatting and catching up. The pizza was great. The vegan crust was not my favorite in Reno. Maya's was delish but a bit spicy for me. Deluxe made my mom an awesome wrap that she loved. It was a bit slow when we went in during lunch, but I imagine it being a great atmosphere at night or on the weekend. I do wish they opened for breakfast.

This might be the most under utilized venue in our great city. Every time I'm here I wonder why more isn't going on. They have a killer courtyard with tons of seating perfect for schmoozing, sipping, and slacking, along with a bunch of great resident restaurants that are happy to serve up the suds or pour that perfect glass of wine to help you while away the day. It's a shame that such an epic patio doesn't have a live band filling it with tantalizing tunes weekly. The interior is an incredible comunity space which, at one point, had all sorts of amenities including AV. But what it lacks now can always be brought in because all the infrastructure is there, not to mention great food and drink too!The place has so much potential, and it seems like a great candidate for community contributions so I want to see if we can help. First off, if you're a local band, or group looking for a place to jam or drum circle, or someone that knows someone like this, let me know. I'd love to connect you with the businesses to get something going. Second, I'd like to ask what you'd like to see at West Street? Last, what improvements would you make? Hopefully this review will start a conversation.

Went here for a birthday party, didnt really eat here but the staff was really welcoming and most of all the atmosphere was very laid back and yet seemed like a very nice place to eat. Overall the food looked decent, but since I didnt try any I'm not going to hurt them with a loss of a star. I gave them 5 stars on a clean environment, laid back atmosphere and a welcoming staff. Thank you guys an hope your business strives.

Love this place! Basically it's a funky answer to a strip mall in downtown Reno. Instead of big box stores it's a mix of bars and restaurants and meeting space. I'm not sure if the meeting space is still available. Many restaurants/bars have come and gone. The West Street Wine Bar is the touch stone being there the longest. Current tenants besides the wine bar -- Thali, Sol, Deluxe. Coming soon Icecycle Creamery and just across the patio is Eclectic Eats (I think that's the name) a few eatery with soups, salads & paninis). The seating options are many - bar seating at Sol and West Street Wine Bar. Table seating in Thali. Open seating in the main hall and patio seating. Lots of good stuff going on here so if you have been in a while it's with checking them out.

We were immediately impressed with the ambiance and our server who was super friendly as well as knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations, let us taste the wine to ensure it was a good fit for us, and made sure we were taken care of. The pizza is an Italian style with thin crust that is less cooked than a typical American thin-crust pizza. All the ingredients were fresh and the menu was obviously crafted with care. We tried the Cherry Picker and the Espana which were both unique combinations that were well balanced and flavorful. To drink we tried the Lambrusco, a fruity but not sweet sparkling red wine, and the Hugo spritz which was very well executed. For dessert we had the Cioccolato Budino which was a dense, creamy and rich mousse covered in caramel chocolate cookie crumbs and homemade whipped cream. My only complaint is that I shared instead of getting my own.

We tried the tiramisu for dessert. The pizza was pretty good here but not wow. I liked the flavors of the espana pizza. I wished their customer service was better.

It's clear they focus on quality from the dough to the sauce to the cheese to the toppings and they put in a healthy dose of passion, fun and love too. It's been a minute since I've stopped at this place but western lights festival brought me downtown and this was part of my plan from the go. I was excited to see that they added woodfired chicken wings, one of my personal favorite dishes anywhere and had to order them and these is absolutely did not disappoint and I'll be back for them again and again. Sometimes it's tough to get a really good crispy chicken wing out of a woodfired oven but this team nailed it in there, buffalo Parmesan sauce was divine, especially with a little bit of the house made ranch. The pizzas were also good, but I didn't like that. They served them in paper takeout boxes because even the short trip from the cutting table to us in that box steamed the pizza and made it super floppy. Toppings were sliding right off the pepperoni pizza we had and it just wasn't the best pizza experience Of the white pizza we tried with spinach and roasted garlic was awesome. I don't wanna held up a little better maybe because it didn't have sauce and the roasted garlic was perfect. Staff is super sweet and accommodating menu is diverse and interesting in and the vibes of West Street market are great for a date or a group so put this one on your list.

His trick you ask? He ferments his dough for at least 48 hours before making pizza with it. It's a sourdough crust. What a mind blowing experience in pizza. I'm a forever fan Johnny! So in essence I got the slice I wanted even though she made the alteration! The pizza tasted really good. The crust is crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside as a pizza should be. The sauce the right balance of sweet and tangy with just the right hint of a bite to it. The pepperoni has the perfect heat adding to the flavor profile. Yeah the pizza was great! In all essence my lack of enthusiasm was winched when the person delivering the pizza dropped it down in the table and walked away- no hello- no have a nice day- just plop and run. Then the fries had to be delivered later after we had to go to the counter and ask where they were- be patient- they will be there when they are ready. Yeah- not such a friendly vibe there so guess I won't be giving them another chance. Thanks for the great food but if you can't be decent when delivering my meal to my seat then it's a no brainer.
