I have seen many dealers with high additional fees added for prep, handling, dealer fees, as well as ridiculously high tag fees in which dealer keeps difference. This one charges both a dealer fee (almost a grand) and a handling fee (another 899) as well as 495 for tag processing. That's over 2200+ in extraneous fees BEFORE the cars one price. Some dealers deserve to be closed or properly mandated and this is why. Taking clear advantage of clients is unfair and deceptive. Wonder if Ford cares ?? read more

Frustrated with Midway Ford Service Dept - Especially Advisor Tom I received a flyer from Midway Ford offering special rates for brake and oil change services. It was addressed to me and included my F-250's VIN -- so they clearly knew my vehicle. I called and spoke with Tom to make the appointment and mentioned the flyer. When I arrived, Tom (who I had a bad experience with before) said the rates didn't apply to my truck and pointed to fine print. I reminded him we discussed this already and that my vehicle info was printed on the flyer. He just smirked and said nothing. No explanation, no apology. I asked for my keys and left. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealer. It's all bells and whistles until you buy the car, take it home and have to deal with the service department. They are incompetent and say they fix an issue and do not. I took my car in first for a window that would not go after being down. They somehow got it to go up, they call me that the car is ready and then when I get there to pick it up, before driving away, I experience the EXACT same problem. Then I take it on for transmission and they have the car for two weeks and call and say they cannot duplicate the problem. I say I am not picking up the car like that because there is a problem. Mysteriously a manager drives it and finds the problem. Then I take it in for AC and they claim they cannot find the problem. I just don't get it. Sale department is extremely shady and do illegal things like deliver a certified pre owned (ford blue oval) vehicle to me with bald rear tires with chords showing on the inside. This is extremely dangerous and could have caused serious injuries or even fatalities. Service said that sales declined the rear tires at time of inspection... the service guys seem okay but I would never buy cars here. Another disastrous visit to this dealer. Biggest mistake I made was buying a car here. The service department is a joke. A simple fix to the FordPass has turned into a nightmare. My poor husband was so happy to finally get his beloved mustang. But unfortunately from the day we got it in November, there has been problems. So much so, that we are invoking lemon law because the dealer (and ford) can't resolve the issues. I really don't know if this is dealer problem or a Ford problem, but betting on a dealer problem. From the moment you walk in you feel Ike you're being attacked by piranhas and then it's an uphill battle to agree on a reasonable price for a vehicle. I am very happy to say that my experience at Midway Ford was the complete opposite of this! Our salesman, Oscar, didn't waste any of our time. We told him where we needed to be on a monthly payment and he got us there. I appreciate people like Oscar who value their clients time and similarly aren't in the business of sticking it to people just cause they can. Fried sensors which they refuse to replac3, only "reset", all while holding your vehicle for a week, and you get no loaner because they don't do that any more while they really have 30 cars out on loan because they sell broke vehicles. I love the MachE, but the customer experience at Midway Ford has been unacceptable to the point I wouldn't buy a great product like a MachE (which I love). While the staff at Midway Ford Service has been courteous, the overall service quality falls short. I've been without my car for an extended period, and it seems that there is a lack of concern within the business. I took my car for a recall. When they finished, they gave me my car to take home (like everything is perfect) with an accident in the front of the car with the bumper damaged and the front light unit broken. It was disheartening to realize that the dealership does not perform thorough inspections before returning customers' cars. I raised these concerns with Manager Tony Garcia. Finally, they had my car for over 20 days for painting the bumpers and replacing some damaged parts. the manager as part of the customer satisfaction offered to replace the scratched interior panel they damaged. I inspected the car and it looked well but they "forgot again" to install one of the parts to be replaced. They took the car back and brought it back with the old part installed. I was so frustrated by this point of the lack of professionalism and service performance, that I decided to leave with the old part since it was in the bottom of the car anyway. Unfortunately, we have not finished yet. When I get home, the cameras of the car are not working. It is January 4th, 2024. Front camera doesn't have a signal and the rear camera is blurry. I called the dealer and they said they are busy and can't take my car until Monday. I said ok, I will take my car whenever you have time to fix my car that you should have fixed and not crashed originally, but I understand you are a busy dealer. I took my car to the dealer Monday Jan/8/2024 for something they should have checked and had my car over 20 days for. On Thursday, I called the manager Tony Garcia to talk about expectations since the rep is not giving me answers. I received the message that he was not available but he will call me back the same day, he never calls back. I called again Jan/16/2024 but he didn't answer the phone and I received the same message: he will call back. he has never returned my calls. Attempts to talk and resolve service issues with Manager Tony Garcia have been unsuccessful. Messages left were not returned, and I am left without answers regarding the ongoing issues with my car. At first, I was nervous because of some of the things I saw written about it online, but I am happy with my purchase of a lightly used 2019 Mustang Ecoboost Convertible and am glad I went with Midway Ford because I got a price I wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. My salesman was Julio. He was super kind during the whole process, available through text and answered all of my questions. If he didn't know the answer, he didn't hesitate to ask a manager. I think what I liked most about him was he wasn't desperate or eager like other car salesman I've worked with before. He was nice, relaxed and didn't make me feel pressured. The next day after I purchased the car, I had to bring it back in because there was an issue with the window's motor, and they didn't give me any issues with replacing the part. I was in and out in about an hour and they even offered me a loaner vehicle if it would take any longer. Overall, I'd recommend Midway Ford. Ask for Julio because he was great. I have purchased several new vehicles in my life time, but this dealership went far and beyond to make things happened. As soon as I walked into the dealership I felt right at home. I first did my research on the internet and found the car I wanted. Then I called and spoke to Mr. Eduardo Salinas I explained my situation and he told me to come on in and they would see what could be done. I had a traded in and I was upside down on it. My sales person was Mr. Cesar Hernandez, he knows what he is doing does not play around. He explained everything to me and we started the paper work. Car guru listed this dealership as having a "great" price on it. whereas all the other places I looked were ranked as "overpriced" or "high" price. I was nervous because it was out-of-state. But I called. Melissa Sosa, who took the initial call, patiently answered my many questions about the car. She even went to the effort of sending me a picture of a specific thing I asked about. Even after she passed me on to a salesman, she continued to follow up to make sure I was being taken care of, and made a special point of coming out to find me on the sales floor to say "hi", even though she was officially "finished"with me. Made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another phone call. Jeramel Cortez was fabulous! When he found out I was hoping to come into town the next morning to look at the car, he worked with me until almost eleven o'clock p.m. to make sure all my questions were answered and everything would be prepared. He even offered to come pick me up at the airport in the wee early hours of the morning, before the dealership even opened!!! He was offered to drive me to the bank to save me the expense of getting a taxi. I'm not tech savvy, so he patiently showed me how to use all the new features on the car. He even synced my phone to the car and ore-programmed my address into the GPS. I have had some terrible experiences with car dealerships over the years.
