After several hours we received a call that the car had been sold. Sold?!? I was confused as we had been told (Friday 3/13): "I can assure you it won't be, the vehicle is actually getting some finishing touches and will be ready sometime next week I will make sure Jose follows up Monday & Tuesday, you'll be the 1st person to know. If it happens earlier we will surely contact you Helen, thats my word" (have screenshots of all communications). Apparently, the word of Kendall of Ford means nothing, buyer beware.

The carfax report was also illegitimate which I had reported to them on this dealership. I've also reported this dealer to the BBB. The car came with a tune for the ECU that had completely wiped ABS and traction control. A dangerous combo. I'm guessing this was needed so the check engine light would not come back on after a few miles.

Prior to leaving reviews of my experience on all available venues, I wanted to reach out to you and give you the opportunity to provide an explanation. After my third time driving the Jeep I took possession of from you last Sunday, it developed a pronounced wobble while in motion. As this can be a typical Jeep issue, I took it to a repair shop I have used with good results in the past. This morning, they called me with their findings. Remarkably, it turns out that the Jeep for which you charged top dollar (the highest end of the Blue Book range) is going to cost me in the range of about $2,000 to repair to the point of being safe to drive. In fact, it is lucky that I made it safely over Alligator Alley with the vehicle in the condition it is in. The mechanic tells me that the tires on the vehicle are extremely old (one set was manufactured in 2002), out of round, and have belt slippage. That alone made the vehicle very hazardous to drive - the tires could have blown out at any moment. One of the wheel bearings is also shot, the serpentine belt is on the verge of failure, and the battery also needs to be replaced. There are other less serious issues, but it appears that the vehicle has been very poorly maintained. So, that being said, I would like you to explain to me how your non-negotiable price tag of $6,000 (plus an additional $250) was justifiable? Surely you aren't going to claim that you didn't realize the vehicle was in very poor condition and would require thousands of dollars in repairs to be serviceable? Right now, I am working on the theory that you acquired the Jeep in its poor condition and did the minimum to get it running, possibly even putting on a set of used tires that look good on a quick inspection but actually were extremely hazardous. Perhaps this is your typical business practice. Fortunately for me, this was a second vehicle and I am better able to afford taking a hit like this than your average customer probably is. However, you were selling this Jeep as a good "daily driver". What if someone had purchased this from you, barely able to afford it as it is, and then found that it needed thousands in repairs? What if a family had taken this vehicle and the tires blew out on the interstate? That is a very dangerous business practice, and you should carefully consider the liability you could face in the future if this is typical of how you operate. I've purchased quite a few cars in my life, and I should have known better, but what is done is done. I am not asking for anything from you other than an explanation. Was told it would be fixed and rethread only to look under my car and all I saw was a metal plate udner the exhaust with no new threading a runner piece in a old screw and every time I go over a small bump my exhaust smacks and is slowly bending down from where the exhaust is being held up.

The sea water rose too high where they had my car parked and effectively flooded my car. What made it worse is that they waited until I had paid the full bill and handed me the keys before telling me it had flooded and claiming they wouldn't be involved with fixing it- that I would need to handle that myself. My entire electrical system was fried. My insurance deemed the car completely totaled. Following this, Mercedes Auto Center proceeded to lie to both my bank and insurance trying to claim it was due to a faulty sunroof and that I hadn't wanted it fixed. Thankfully my insurance had full proof that it was salt water that had caused the damage from the ground up and there was no issues with my sunroof. Please reconsider before using this Auto Center for your Mercedes- I have never received such terrible customer service from a business.

Victor asked me to drop off the car on Monday 12/07 and the next morning I got the first updates, they sent me a link with a bunch of photos and notes of what they did to that point. Another part was needed so this may have delayed the process by a day, so yesterday 12/10 I got a call from Victor saying that the car was going to be ready before the end of the day, around 2pm I got a text and a phone call from Yani saying that the car was ready. I checked the link and it was a new photo showing the car completed. When I arrived to pick up and pay I got a total of $1475 (which was shown in the last update received) but I had an estimate of $1030, I understand when you are working with insurance you send them a "preliminary work" and then you can add a few or several "supplemental" and the insurance usually pays them, but this money was coming out of my pocket, so I was definitely expecting the $1,030 figure or a little less... all in all Victor explained to me the extra work done and reduced a bit the final number. Conclusion: I'm a hard person to please type of guy, I believe they did a really good job, the 3 days to finish the work is appropriate and the way they kept me informed with calls and photos is top notch! I highly recommend them, just be open to pay a bit more than originally expected...
