Had a horrible experience here. Went in to shop around was stuck between Nissans chevys and Honda's. The sales person and manager were extremely rude and push towards me. Worst car buying experience. Ever. My salesman was great, but I soon found out he fired a few days after my deal. I have no idea why since he is the only reason stayed to buy my Pathfinder. They haggled me for 10 hours - my deal was simple - meet these terms and I buy - if you can't we go our seperate ways. A few days later I had to return to the dealer for my spare key I never got and to deliver the stereo amp from within the truck they never took out to give back to the previous owner. They refused to remove the amp and said a mechanic would have to and no one was available. I removed it myself and demanded my key that they were holding ransom - eventhough they sold the truck with amp in it. That day I found out they let 80% of the sales staff go - for unknown reasons - yet I have heard they are no better than they were. So I can only summize they fire everyone so they can say - well we have new staff now give us a chance. Save yourself and drive the few extra miles to Peoria Nissan. I went in for service with Aaron Chesmond. I had a really bad experience with Pinnacle Nissan to the point I'm looking forward to trading in my car for another maker. However! My service experience this past Friday made me rethink that. I scheduled to get the recall on my Sentra done but unfortunately Aaron said they're waiting for the parts in October. Instead he recommended we go ahead and get the service done. I didn't originally plan it but figured it might be smart to get it done in case I want to road trip it this Summer. Aaron was nice and polite. Also very helpful when I had any questions. My only complaint is how the drive up is constructed but that's not their fault. I wish the service consultant offices had walking space to access or if there was a pick up/waiting area. I was worried a car wouldn't see me when I looked for pockets of sidewalk to stand and wait. Again, not their fault. Other than that, pick up was quick and easy. Aaron went over the inspection and suggested when to get next service. All in all, great experience! read more

I'm reviewing my recent car buying experience at Midway Nissan. I bought a 2011 Nissan Juke and I love it. Midway Nissan actually made the buying process pretty easy. I got a good interest rate up front, even better when they went to bat with Nissan Finance for me. They were flexible and we came to terms. In the finance office a no on the extras was taken fine. I did have to go back to sign a new contract because Nissan lowered the interest rate from the original contract. The new contract tried to throw in life and disability insurance that wasn't on my original contract. I declined and they printed out new documents. My salesman was helpful. All car dealerships pull the same financing stunts and gimmicks. I understand that is where they make their money. I just don't find them to my liking. I can get gap insurance from my auto insurance company much cheaper than what they offer in the dealership. Anyway for ease of buying and lack of a huge amount of time in their showroom I give them four stars. I recently took my Juke in for its first oil change and it was easy and painless. Very happy to have purchased from Midway Nissan. Funny thing is every buying experience can be different. read more

I arrived at this dealerships service dept today and it took approximately 10 minutes before any of the service advisors approached me. I had a scheduled appointment and arrived a little early but such is still no excuse for how long it took before someone asked me if I was being helped. I even exit my vehicle and walked pass 5 service advisor booths thinking that one of them would approach me. However 3 simply looked at me (2 were in one booth) and 1 appeared to actually be working on his computer. None of which however had any customers standing with them. A gentleman whom I believe was a service manager came out of one of the buildings adjacent to the service advisors booths. The gentleman who approached me was friendly and apologized for no one asking me if I needed help. I informed him that such wasn't his fault but the fault of his advisors who apparently didn't want to come out of there booths. He asked if he could help me but I politely declined and said I would take my vehicle to another dealership for service. Should someone from this dealership read this, all I ask is that you talk to your service advisors and reiterate the importance of exceptional customer service. When a customer pulls into the service line, someone should approach the customer and see what they need. A simple "we are all busy but someone will be with you shortly" would have been greatly appreciated. My advice to those who read this is to take your vehicle elsewhere if it needs service. read more

I set up an appointment to test drive a car. Phoenix in August, over 100 degrees. I arrived at the appointment, the car was not ready. I was handed off to a salesperson who could not drive a manual and thus couldn't bring the car from the back lot. We drove to the back lot. She forgot her ID to be able to leave the back lot with the test car. We drove back to the dealer. We drove back to the lot. She said she hoped the key for the car was in the lot lockbox. It wasn't. She called someone to bring a key. She offered that I should test drive an automatic rather than a manual. I declined. I walked back to the dealer to leave. I talked to the sales manager who was uninterested in the problem. I left. Customer disappoint. Follow up: the Manager contacted me to see what the dealership could do to make things right. I appreciate the concern shown. If this type of attention is extended to customers on the lot, the dealership will be much better. read more

This is a review for the Service Department: Ordinarily, I avoid service departments at dealerships, but I brought my car in for an electronic issue that needed to be serviced by a Nissan dealer. The service reps were great! They listened to my concerns and worked to make sure that I was happy with their work. I had recently got a car from there tent event a couple days later they called me saying that they need me to come down and sign some papers. We had to have it for a couple of day so I could get back and forth to work they threatened us if we didn't get the car back they where going to call it in as stolen. I went to Midway Nissan based on a refinance offer I got in the mail from Alliance Direct Lending. They tried to sell me a new car instead, and when I declined, their entire front changed. When I insisted on pursuing ONLY the refinance of my existing car, Brian Tills was not only dismissive, but condescending. But he did offer me refinance terms which were literally laughable. I would have paid out almost $10,000 more over the life of my loan to save $13 a month. This dealership was WAAAY out of my way, offered poor service, and ridiculous terms. And when I emailed them to address my concerns so that they may improve their business, they made promises that they have not yet honored in the three weeks since the meeting. If I could give this place zero stars, I would! If you want to be bullied around and made to feel worthless Midway Nissan is the right place for you!! I walk in to see what I can get approved for I told them my price range was from $14,000 to $15,000, this man had me test driving a $23,000 car. And it was apparently the only one I would get approved for. My payments would have been $500 plus, as I was in a bind I was considering it. While going through the application file I was asked if I wanted to trade the car I arrived in, I said no the car is not mine. But continued to ask me, it made no sense in my head. They needed me to acquire a paystub or W2 from my previous job. I had already been having trouble getting my W2 from my employer and had been waiting to hear from HR, but they were very insistent on me trying, so much so the dealer took my phone to try himself. My wife at this point is furious because she can see I am shaking from the intensity of the way this man needed this piece of paper. Before he left he looked at my wife and had said would you be willing to co-sign for her, I was on the phone at this time trying to get the paper work he so desperately needed and paused to say that is not an option thank you, he left and he returned with his manager who had already came and talked to us earlier and explain the car buying process. As I am still on the phone he begins to question my wife and asks her to co-sign, I look at him and said I already told your dealer it wasn't an option. At this point I hang up the call because he starts to question her and make her feel extremely small as to the fact that she couldn't co-sign. I am in tears at this point and say I just want to go home.. I can't get ahold of my previous employer, if you guys are unable to help me, please just let me leave. Manager says okay I'm going to see what I can do and I'll be back, dealer goes with him, dealer comes back yeah we're not gonna be able to help you. We left and I was discouraged, I wanted to give up on trying to buy a car. But I decided to go to Earnhardt Peoria Kia and Viktor and Richard helped me and my wife get into the nicest car I could have asked for, Viktor also gave us a box of polish chocolate to celebrate our purchase. They approved me for a $18000 dollar car, payments under $500 and not once did they ask me to find my paystub from my previous job. Found an SUV I liked this morning on Autotrader.com, had my husband call about it, asked if they would have it inspected by one of our mechanics nearby. The sales guy said he would talk to the lead technician about it, run our credit in the meanwhile and get back to us. We waited until the end of the day to hear back about setting up a pre-sale inspection, no call. We decided to call the guy back. He let us know the car was going to be taken off the website shortly because there were too many things wrong with it to offer it for sale right now. It didn't even pass their own inspection, let alone the pre-sale inspection we expected to conduct. The CarFax report for this vehicle indicated all service and repairs on this car were done by Midway Nissan for the past 10 years, so they would know everything that was wrong with this vehicle before they posted it to Autotrader. SCAM! NOTE: Asking for a pre-inspection on any used car purchase is a hassle, but worth it!! Don't trust anyone with a used car - dealership or private sale. read more

I never thought I would get out of my Honda Hybrid which was a bad choice of car in the first place and where literally the dealership was pressuring me to buy this vehicle and told me there was no other vehicle I qualified for. BS!! I shouldn't have listen to them and should of walked out! but instead I fell for it. So I recruited to Martin and he got me into a 2012 Nissan Altima and I couldnt have asked for anything better. He works miracle! If I could recommend anyone, I would say, Martin is the name to go! Everybody at the tent sale wanted my business, but I only asked for that one guy who I knew I could trust. If i could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. A few days ago I started searching for a new vehicle online and came across Midway Nissan. It's my first time trying to purchase a vehicle so I had tons of questions. I spoke to Erica over the phone, she seemed to be extremely nice and answered some of my questions right away. She told me she would be in contact with me to get everything started. Long story short i show up for my appointment and I am introduced to this guy, Lenny, who seemed extremely nice and eager to help. Or so I thought. He began by asking me what budget i wanted to stay within and which vehicle i was interested in. I provided him with all my paperwork and he walked away to try and find me a 'deal' a few moments later jose came back with lenny, so excited to give me the good news that i was approved but they had some questions to ask. They went from wanting no down payment at all to wanting $1500. I immediately told them I was not willing to pay that amount as a down payment and they started offering for me to come work for them for two weeks and they would call it quits on that down payment, also how they would go donate plasma to help me with the down payment. This seemed extremely unprofessional and i there noticed how much they really wanted to sell that car. I told them i needed time to see what my options were and see where i would come up with the money for the down payment(secretly thinking to myself that i was never coming back) they insisted and insisted and they went back to make a 'deal' for me. They came back 20 minutes later telling me that they were able to lower my monthly payment and down payment as well. I wasnt even able to say anything when they told me to go see the finance manager. Thats when the nightmare started. Once i get to his office he pulls out all sorts of documents for me to sign and shows me what my payment would be. The amount was outrageous! My $420 payment went all the way up to $825! They never mentioned my APR on the loan or the fact that all these additional charges were going to be added. I immediately told him I was not understanding where all the charges were coming from he got super tense and tried to make me feel like they were doing me a favor by selling me a used vehicle. I told him i did not feel comfortable signing any more documents because what they were doing was not right. He then tells me it can't be cancelled and tries to make me sign for the plates and title. I continue to tell him that i will not sign and he started acting extremely rude, thats when I decided to get up and walk away. Four and a half hours later and a HUGE disappointment on all of their employees I can honestly say I am NEVER coming back. Do not waste your time and MONEY at this place. read more

I received 2 calls regarding this issue. The first call was from midway Nissan's customer relations director Aaron. He was polite and apologetic about the experience I had. Of course he's concerned about the yelp review as well. He did good damage control by being apologetic and insisted on sending care package (not sure what is it since I haven't received it.) It's good to know that someone at midway Nissan actually cares about its customers or potential customers. However, I'm not sure if that is enough to salvage the way I view this dealership as I don't think the whole incident should have happened in the first place. The second call was from Nissan USA regional customer relations specialist. She documented the experience and provided case number. She was also apologetic. She was very sincere and that made a huge difference. I understand the dealers are franchised operations therefore it wasn't really Nissan's fault, but the dealership does has Nissan's brand name on the wall and what/how they act will reflect on Nissan as a brand. I owned several Nissans in the past and I really like the brand. The experience I had almost made me turned away from Nissans but what Nissan USA and Peoria Nissan did restore faith in me regarding the Nissan brand. read more

Midway Nissan has really upped their game! As an initially dissatisfied Pinnacle Infiniti customer, Midway was my next closest option. While my first experience would be defined as run-of-the-mill, the last two times here have certainly raised the bar on what Nissan service means. The waiting area is clean, the coffee bar is actually maintained, they let you borrow iPads if you want (or let you use their free WiFi if you have your own computer). They actually have comfortable seating or high-top tables to do work. They even have a kids area far enough removed from the rest of the waiting area that it doesn't seem to interfere with those who want peace and quiet. Service staff have always been friendly (Mike), honest, up front and open. They were able to complete most of my services in the first visit, but told me I had to wait for my tires -- they worked with me to find a time to get the tires on later that day, and apologized profusely that it couldn't be done sooner (even though I didn't have that expectation). I'm a midway guy now, and as long as the "soft stuff" continues in such a great fashion, this is where I'm taking my car! read more

This is a review for the service dept. My tire blew while I was driving to work in the morning. I opted for the extended warranty which covers my tire. Luckily I was only a few minutes away from Midway Nissan. I pull up at about 6:50 to the service bay. They don't open until 7 but there are already service employees there. No one acknowledges me at all. I stand there for about 5 minutes and no one even makes eye contact. Finally, I ask someone for some assistance. They take my car and I go wait in the service lobby. 2 hours passes and nothing. I then walk outside and my car is just sitting there. I ask the service employee and he said my car was done and ready to go. I'm not sure if he just forgot about me or how long my car has been sitting outside already done. My wheels were pretty dirty too when i got the car back. Only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is they took care of the tire without an appointment. read more

Purchased a new car, ended up getting a really good deal out of it was able to negotiate and get the car for place I was willing to pay for it. I think the only negative was the wait, but other than that it was a good experience. I can't remember the names of the people that dealt with but if you plan on buying a car always expect to wait for at least half a day. I am still not happy with the situation but my review has been edited due to the professional manner in which they have helped in the past few days. I'd give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely awful experience. The finance department doesn't understand the meaning of no, the pressure was outrageous. The extended warranty and maintenence plans are a joke, so was their price of $420 a month for extra maintenence. I ended up taking my keys back and leaving the dealership. I will never shop at a midway dealership again. Avoid at all cost. I keep getting emails from Yelp saying my review is inaccurate because I went to volvo of Phoenix. They are a combined dealership and the financing was all through midway Nissan. So yes, my review is still very valid for midway nissan. read more

I've experienced bad dealerships before, however I am extremely disappointed with midway Nissan. When I originally came to purchase a vehicle they had listed online, upon appearing it turned out the vehicle wasn't available for sale. This was the first bad sign. Overall, I picked up a 2017 Nissan Altima and now have continuously had bad service from this dealership. Parts were supposed to be repaired and they now are telling me they 'can't do anything about it.' Staff doesn't take you seriously, and half of them are extremely rude on top of that. Midway Nissan is full of swindlers. I tried to lease a car through Midway and was assured, after giving them my stipulations of what I needed (automatic), that they had a car I could lease for the price I had negotiated. I was under the facade that they were a nice company, given that they picked me up and drove me to the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership they showed me the car and acted surprised when I said I couldn't drive standard, although I am 100% sure I told the online sales manager I needed an automatic. So instead of showing me the car for $129 a month for two years they have me test drive a car that is $297 a month for two years and try to get me to pay that price. It was the bait and switch! They wouldn't let me leave the dealership until 9:30 pm because they were relentless in trying to get me to pay the outrageous leasing price (without even telling me how much the car was!). Upon leaving a 1 star review Aaron from their customer service department reached out to me and resolved most of my issues, he offered to send a check with enough money to buy 2 new tires, which was my main concern, im not 100% happy based on the treatment i got, but having Aaron reach out to me made a big difference, i still love the car i bought i got my car highered and drives alot better, only thing needed is 2 tires which will be covered by nissan. Bait and Switch Midway Nissan has been advertising a 2006 Ford Mustang on AutoTrader.com for over a month. I called on the car early last month and was told the Internet team was in a meeting. This was at 11:00 AM on a Saturday so I thought it was odd, but drove down anyways when the person I was speaking to thought the car was available. I did not see the car on the lot when I arrived and was pressured to "come in" so they could collect some info on me. I allowed them to copy my license but told them if they did not have the car we did not have much to talk about. After a few min they came back out and said the car was sold 2 hours prior. This was occurred Dec 8th 2012. It is now Jan 2 2013 and the car is still being advertised. The car has gone up and down in price many times, so someone is making adjustments to the AutoTrader add knowing very well that the car does not exist. These people know very well what they are doing and if they will do this, think of what else they might do. They are dishonest and unethical. I was stay clear of this car lot. Reasoning: #1Found the vehicle I was interested in took the sales rep over 20 minutes to help us. #2 I was already pre approved for the loan on the vehicle with a 2.0 interest rate through my personal bank (Navy Federal) , the sales rep told me that my payments for a 19k car would be $510 a month. She obviously couldn't do the math. I insisted that she just needed to contact my bank and figure out all the number and she consisted on arguing me . NOT once actually speaking to my bank. Then pushed "their" financing on me with a 7% interest rate. #3 It took the sales rep over 2 HOURS to figure out my pre approval situation . #4 Acted as if they've never sold a vehicle before. #5 NO ONE spoke English which isn't a issue unless you only speak English ... #6 They had to have the vehicle inspected and detailed before I took it .. which they forgot to replace all the floor mats . #7 The trunk looked as if someone tried to open it and bent it up , I informed the rep she said the service guys will take care of that while inspecting . .. It NEVER got taken care of. #8 I spent 4 and a half hours at this dealership ... I went to Midway Nissan looking to possibly replace a totaled vehicle on March 9, 2018. To make a very long story somewhat short, My salesman, Tommy was Fantastic. HOWEVER, the Sales Manager, Jose was rude, called me a liar after I refused to sign a sales contract with a 26.99% interest rate, a higher sales price than the $18,000 agreed upon and a finance amount over $19,000 with $4500 down, a $1000 prepayment penalty for paying the loan off or paying the principle down within the first 6 months of the loan. I had to repeatedly ask for my driver's license, license plate and my $4500 down payment check. They also changed the 1st payment due date to 45 days instead of the 90 days that was agreed to and a $500 monthly payment. They refused to give to return my down payment claiming it was locked in their safe when my check should have followed all the sales documents until they were signed and copies given to me. I was locked in an office by the Finance manager once I decided not to sign the sales contract and walk away. Rita another manager, got involved. She claimed she was going to get my $4500 check and give it to me. She came out to my rental vehicle with a new Sales Contract with an 18.99% interest rate, the same higher sales price, a $389 monthly payment, offered to give me $1500 and tried to force me to sign it. I refused. She stood in the way of my Vehicle to keep me from leaving. I had to tell her to get out of the way. She never gave me my down payment check back. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH MIDWAY NISSAN FOR ANY REASON. They will literally hold you Hostage for hours including locking you in an office without your immediate knowledge, like they did to me.
