Midway Nissan will not stop calling me. I bought a car 6 years ago did not get a spare key. I had to pester them to give me the key that I should have been given when I purchased the car. Now that I have moved out of state they call me non stop with deals. I've told them repeatedly to stop calling. They have awful customer service. read more

I bought a car and saw my credit card was charged $400 above what I had said to put down on the car...it posted 2 days after buying the car, so I had no idea until I opened my online bank statement. I immediately called and told them there was a mistake...the manager hung up on me. BEWARE FALSE PHONE COMMITMENTS FROM MIDWAY NISSAN!! THEY WORKED A CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. HERE'S OUR EXPERIENCE. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU! We were looking to lease a car in December and made contact with Midway Nissan. After thinking the decision through, we decided to wait until April. Then came the emails... to which we replied we are not moving forward now. Then came the calls. They assign these calls to managers to try and move you back to a buying mode. We ignored most but they kept coming. I finally took the call from Aaron, a used car manager, and nicely explained that we were waiting until April. When asked why, I simply explained it was a financial decision. He asked if he could get me into the car we were interested in with no money down and no payments until April would I be interested. I replied yes and gave him my budget parameters of $350 - $400. He told me he would work on it and get back to me. He called back and told me he could work out a deal for the car with no money down, no payment until April, for $389.00. I was truly impressed and we set up a meeting for the next day. My wife and I arrived and were introduced to Aaron, who introduced me to a gentleman by the name of Patrick. He asked us for some basic information and walked us out to look at the models we were interested in. We test drove the vehicle and decided to go ahead with the lease. During this process, I asked him on two occasions if he had gotten the details on the arrangement that Aaron had given me. He said he was told but was quite busy and didn't remember all of it. This was when I became uneasy about the process. After taking our application, he left and went to the finance director. After 10 minutes Patrick came back, sat down and look at us and said there were no special programs for our model and the lease payment was not $389 as stated, but actually $520! At this point, I stood up and told Patrick, I had in fact been lied to by Aaron. My wife and I left the dealership. On the way home, I called Aaron's boss Ed Brown and informed him of our experience. He expressed his concern and asked what he could do to get us to work with the dealership. My response was simple "Nothing, we are not doing business." This review is just about Mark Wylie, the service manager and Tim Beyer, the general manager. I had been having my 280Z restored at this dealership. After a very long time of having the car here and going through 3 service managers, I was told that they could not complete the job. I asked for a refund of the monies that I had paid. After a little negotiation, we settled for an amount that I feel was fair to both sides. Mark and Tim were nice to deal with and we parted ways with no hard feelings. I have had lots of work done on my Nissans at this dealership and the work was done well and at what I felt was a fair price. I am very disappointed to say that this dealership has no integrity. I was referred here through a friend. I have filed a report through the BBB. This dealership has been lying to me. They dropped a vehicle off at my father's house before it had been approved for financing. Patrick from finance called my dad and said they could not get an approval through any bank. They told him to come sign for the vehicle solely himself without me They then told me to come and find a new vehicle I would like and that it would be a possiblity to get approved. I went down there and met with Nestor. Right away, nestor asked for my pay stubs. I told him I will not give my pay stubs until I know I will buy a vehicle from you guys. Nestor right away showed me around. He healed me pick a new vehicle and let me test drive a few. Which I never test drove the nissan versa or stepped foot inside it. Nestor helped me pick the car I actually wanted. At the end, he asked which vehicle do you want? Make a decision so we can send it through! He asked for my lay stubs and I gave it to him I was told that Patrick in finance would be in touch with me. I left excited and hopeful for a better deal. I reached out to patrick and he texted me saying "I told them to send the info for the vehicle you wanted, but they sent it for the versa." Nissan headquarters so far has expressed they are very shocked that Midway Nissan dropped the vehicle off at my father's house. we are still going through this. I have never been pressured so hard into a nissan versa. I was told I could not get anything else. Yet. They financed the versa almost 24,000! After looking online, I noticed they are selling brand new nissan versas for 15,900. I have never been so manipulated and lied to. We came into the dealership almost a month ago! A few weeks ago, a guy named "mike" called me saying he wanted to hear my side of the story. He was apologetic at first. When I said I do not want to buy a vehicle from midway nissan, mike said, well the deal is done and there is nothing you can do. This was over 2 weeks ago. My father and I have been checking our credit and they are still pushing banks through our credit, so we know the car hasn't been approved. Yesterday, my dad noticed that his credit dropped over fourty points. Thank God we have lifelock for our credit, so we are aware of every single change or application being sent through. I get the fifth cal from Midway Nissan about their great deals, I explain to the sales lady Itsima that have been told all these things before, as I get these calls about every six months....but she assured me the deal came down from finance and again promised that she could help me get out from underneath my car, because they were offering 30% above market value and the rebates were fantastic so it was completely Feasible. I started running numbers and said I'm not sure how all of this is going to work, the numbers don't add up, told her I felt that this was to good to be true. I asked her to run numbers, on two different scenarios, I asked her to run credit prior to getting down there, because I didn't want to waste anyone's time or have my time wasted. I also explained to her that I didn't want to be there for 9 hours as I was when I bought my Altima. She assured me through text that, it wouldn't take long and again the deal was coming from finance. Curiosity got the better of me so I went down there, my guess is Itsima was a phone person to just get people down there, because she never showed her face. Then I get car sales man Brian, he was great btw, I broke it down very clearly of what I was told, that I thought it was BS, gave him my bottom line. We go look at the car he said he was told would work for my situation. After the test drive; some BS comes back. Normal car buying shenanigans.....I know if it would not have been close to closing time I would have likely been there another 9 hours. I get that people have jobs to do, but dang if you are going to seek people out tell them about crazy deals, you should really just run numbers as asked to avoid wasting peoples time. I should say up front that I HATE car dealerships. However, Midway Nissan was great from the front end through the back end of the process. Aside from some mixed signals between the front office and the finance department (regarding how many years of free oil changes and tire rotations you get from the dealership - 2 years) the process was smooth sailing. One improvement - ALL DEALERS ARE SLOW AS MOLASSES to move you from sale to finance. Even though I think we were out of there in 8 hours (arrived at 1:30 and departed by 9:30 PM), there has to be a better way to speed up that process between "yes" and signing. Not particularly a Midway issue but if some dealership can get the navigation from front door through closing right, I would be a fan for life. Righ now, I will be back at Midway Nissan for our next vehicle. That says a LOT. read more

I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff was today. At 10:32 am this morning I set an appointment for 5:30 pm. I arrived a few minutes late because off traffic but waited until 6pm before the vehicle was finally pulled around for me to look at. When I finally got to see it, it was unwashed and unserviced. What were they doing for 20-25 minutes while I waited? After the test drive the sales rep wanted to immediately run my credit even though the vehicle had already been "sold to a wholesaler." The price was listed online for $12,900 but somehow went up $1000 with no warning. How can a vehicle go up in value if it's being sold at wholesale price? It's a good thing I didn't let the sales rep run my credit on a vehicle that was "already sold." My vehicle, along with others, was shot by a paintball gun while talking about a deal. One of the employees was nice enough to offer a car wash but they should consider some kind of security. It's ridiculous to have my property vandalized while at their dealership. read more

Here's how they operated. I was interested in. Lexus IS 250. Year drove it and heard a grinding sound when making left turns. Manager said oh we do 160 point inspections (clearly missed this issue) and we will take care of whatever the problem is with the car if you buy it. I insisted that they check out the problem before I even consider buying the car. Result? They tell me that since they are aggressively priced on the car they will only charge me for parts and labor. I thought I completed a review back in March 2017 after my service w/ Midway, but I guess I didn't, better late than never. I had my vehicle towed to Midway as it is was not far from my previous employer located in PX. It took two days before someone from the service department contacted me and that was after I sent an email advising NO ONE had been in contact since my car was towed to the lot. Midway has a service line for calls they then "transfer" you call to someone's vm w/ no follow up. Once I finally got a call back, Mike Rios was assigned as my "service consultant." Mike and the other techs could not find the issue w/ my vehicle, as I have a hybrid and they needed to run a diagnostic that cost $600. Per Mike, the cost of the diagnostic would go towards my final bill once they found the root cause, the $600 has already been paid, fine I say, move forward. NOT THE CASE! Once the final problem was found, ECM issue, my final bill was more than 1200. I advise this is not what was discussed, per I approved the diagnostic, I should be paying a little more than $600 including the parts to repair my problem. Any work done at this dealership, ask for a written estimate to be sent before hand, HAVE IT IN WRITING! I recently had an issue w/ my vehicle, current repair person advised it was the ECM issue, I reached out to Midway on 01/05 and 01/06 and have yet to receive any follow up, as i'm still "covered" under them for a parts/labor warranty. Need a NISMO or 370Z specialist? Nick is your guy. Not specifically looking for a Nismo or Nissan? Turn and run. For my review of this dealership the sales person Nick K was fantastic. I am a difficult customer that is picky, reads every line of text and haggles price. The reason I shopped at Midway Nissan was because they had a specific vehicle in stock I was in the market for for a reasonable price, low miles and just the right amount of flare. I am always weary of sales guys especially in the used car industry and when I pulled up I spotted the nest of them eyeing me hungrily. However Nick met me in the parking lot- friendly and professional to be expected and I did my best to be friendly back. Without issue Nick moved several vehicles that were blocking the usually dormant Nismo Z and let me take it for a spin. Satisfied, we sat down and worked some numbers out came to an agreement and he was off to his manager for approval. We hashed out some details and came to an agreement for my trade in, down payment and financed amount for the loan. It took a bit of haggle but I was satisfied with the end deal and ok'd it. Once in the finance office I was purchased the extended warranty (WRAP), paint, tire, wheel coverage and GAP. Throughout the process there was a lot of miscommunication and misrepresentation from management, finance and the works. It was a very stressful transaction that I would not be willing to go through again. All in all, Nick kept me a customer. I feel he stuck up for me when the deal became difficult and he stirred the pot, getting others involved to help solve the issue. Without Nick, I would have walked out upset and never returned to Midway Nissan. As it stands, I don't plan on supporting Nissan until they learn how to take care of their customers and hold their dealerships accountable. read more

My mom and dad were going to buy nissan sentra and once all the paper work was done and they congratulated them to send to finance ( thanks to victor , whom was very helpfull and curtious) but his boss Alex came and voided the deal saying that he cant sell the car that low. I wish I could put a negative negative negative star for this dealer. They are horrible. I went with my 24 year old son who just graduated from college to purchase his first "real" car. He found a used 2020 Nissan Versa. We were told by the salesman that was in the back being worked on for air bags. My son decided he wanted this vehicle and put a $2,000 deposit on the car, signed all the paperwork with the exception of 1 page (as he was not finalizing anything until the car was test driven and looked over). The sales person JP said the car would be ready in a week. 3 weeks later we finally received a call for JP that the car would be ready the next day. We went to the dealer with a friend who is a mechanic to check the car over because it was a final sale and wanted to make sure the car was in good shape. We found out the car was sold the night before to someone else. After waiting hours we were told this! I of course was upset but the manager Ernie Chavez told me that since the one of the forms wasn't signed they could do whatever they want with the vehicle. THIS TO ME WAS UNBELIEVABLE. Of course I was upset and was telling the manager he needed to do something to make this right He told me to get out of his office or he would call the police. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO HORRIBLY. I called to speak to the general manager but there isn't one right now and Ernie Chavez is all I had to work with. I bought my car in 02/2017 0 miles and now it only had 5000 miles. Car broke down two weeks ago, I tried to call the service department and they hung up on me. Took me 2 days to get a hold of someone who would actually help me. Then I went to rent a car because it would take 2 weeks to fix mine and the enterprise people at Nissan are so rude. A younger blonde woman helped us when we returned the car I asked my boyfriend to return the keys to the rental while I signed some paperwork to get my car released and this women was yelling at my boyfriend saying that she saw him driving the car when we pulled up which he wasn't. And that we would get arrested for doing that she was doing this in front of everyone, I couldn't believe it. Obviously i wouldn't let him drive a rental that's under my name but anyway I regret getting my car here and would not recommend it for anyone. read more

I had an appointment done with Midway Nissan on 01/17/2015....with all my requirements specific that , I want new 2015 Nissan Versa S Automatic...and i was called in to the store with an appointment with a price fixed and committed 9975+taxes. after i went into the store at set appointment time....they kept wandering me in the yard for about an hour looking for the car for which they had committed to. Then after they told me that it had a minor accident and we have sent the car to body shop for repair...and will give you as brand new...i demanded to see the car before i buy it. they told me , we do not have the one available until three days 'we have other cars exactly specific to what you demanded but their price is 4k higher and we cannot sell those at a lower price..." and we have lowered the price of the car because it is damaged for which you had taken appointment ...also eventually we cannot show you...since the car is in body shop I argued with the sales person that why did they call in people to check cars to buy if they don't have the car ready to show after given confirmed appointment to sell the car. Also was not informed before ,that the discounted price is for some limited stock damaged cars, i was told that the cars are brand new and was not mentioned that the cars are damaged and under repair. I demanded to speak to manager, and the manager arrogantly denied the fact that sales person giving appointment are not responsible to check the car to be available in the store to show, also to inform about the refurbished condition of the car. I brought in my Nissan Sentra for a simple airbag replacement because of a recall that went out. The moment i turned the key, the engine couldn't keep a consistent idle and the engine would turn off on its own. After testing the car to be sure of this problem after arriving home from work, the problem happened everytime. Since it was after-hours, i contacted them the next day. I reached the mechanic and i told them about this problem. Now keep in mind, this vehicle is serviced and looked at every 2 months when changing the oil at my personal mechanic, with no pre-existing problems whatsoever. The mechanic at Midway Nissan denied doing any tampering outside of what the airbag replacement consisted of but admitting that there have been people that have accused the service department of going out of the way to "hurt" their vehicles. Which is exactly what dishonest mechanics do to keep their business rolling, overlook or cause a very simple problem, then you bring in the vehicle, and there they can nitpick the vehicle's issues. -- Update 06/03/2015 After looking into the problem with my mechanic, he was unable to confirm any tampering but did advise that the battery and some electrical wires needed to be looked at. Since there is no concrete evidence that the problem was linked to service at Midway Nissan i am retracting my previous statement of accusing the service center at Midway Nissan on causing the problem. It was a huge coincidence though, that the problem came about the very first time i turned the key right before leaving the service shop. I was contacted by a service director 2 days after the initial service to see if there was anything that could be done including a free diagnostic to double check the problem but i turned it down since i had already planned to take it my original mechanic. I was still disappointed at the service technicians response since it took putting up a lengthy and upsetting review for the dealership to take any initiative to consider my complaint when it could have been addressed from the very first call. I was impressed by the service director's concern about the issue, it did sound like someone who wants to cover all the angles to make sure his future customers are satisfied. read more

I was a little apprehensive going in, we've had poor to just so-so experiences purchasing new cars in the past, plus in general I'm skeptical of any sales environment. I had emailed Jose Castellanos (Internet Manager) about a new 2015 or 2016 Nissan Frontier, Jose helped me as much as he could through email - at some point you have to go into the dealership. My wife and I went in 11/24/2015 to look around, Jose handed us off to Scott Sullivan. After a few minutes I can honestly say that Scott made us feel like we were old friends, not just some customers that walked in off the street. Scott is very knowledgeable about the Frontier (and I am sure every vehicle at Midway Nissan), although I did some research online about the Frontier, I asked a lot questions and Scott knew the answers. We went in knowing more or less what we wanted to look at, which was a mid priced Frontier, it has been our experience in the past that we would have been pressured to upgrade or even switch to a different model, Scott at no time made us feel uncomfortable with the vehicle we wanted. There are a few different models available, with many options that we frankly do not need, so when we said we didn't need them, that was that. Neither my wife or I would have any problem at all recommending Midway to anyone looking for a new Nissan but in particular Scott. But im going to share anyways They continue to harass me calling almost everyday even when I asked them to take me off of there call list. Very disrespectful and will call and hang up often. The shittiest place to look for a car. A part of me wants to take legal action against them, but im still debating if it will be worth it. Very disappointed in the service here. I absolutely can't describe the amount of time that they wasted of mine. The sales people made offers that they weren't allowed to make. Checked my credit and then came out making offers that they couldn't do. Sales manager comes out saying that the what the people who were making those sales didn't know what they were talking about in essence. So clearly the people who are there to greet you are making promises they can't keep. Do not buy a car from here. read more

This is the worst place to come and purchase a vehicle. 1st BAD BAD customer service. We purchased a 2016 Altima last year it was our first time buying a new car. At the end when signing the contract we specifically stated to the man that we did NOT want the extra warranty ALL we need was the Gap. Stupid guy did NOT give us that instead he gave us the extended warranty... So be very careful when signing the contract they like to be sneaky.Starting to have issues with our car, the tinting was getting bubbly and then windows were getting stuck as we rolled them down. Windows never got fixed. Had to take the car every Friday on my day off. read more

Bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot. The vehicle has a gas cap that requires a key to open it. They didn't give me the key. So the first time I tried filling up, I had to spend $65.00 for a lock smith to come pick the lock. Now I am buying a cheap cap to replace the other. I asked if they could credit me $65.00 since they sorta set me up for failure. Their response, "There's nothing we can do." Thanks for the help Midway Nissan. read more

My payments are extremely high and was told when I purchased the car to stick out the high payments for a lil over a year or so and I can come back and if I made my payments on time and they would be able to help me out with lowering the payment...well 2 yrs later, I stopped by, keep in mind I have not missed one single payment..went to see what I can do to lower it like they told me and straight up told me they could do nothing for me and that and if i wanted to lower the payment my best option is letting the car go and opening up another loan with a co signer. All I have to say is wow! That goes to show me that they'll do anything to get rid of a car. Extremely disappointed read more

BUYER BEWARE!! RIP OFF WAITING TO HAPPEN! Memorial Day weekend, I go into the part and service department, give them my vin number for my vehicle so I could buy some transmission fluid. Read it to the associate in military alphabet to ensure accuracy. Fast forward a few hours (after I have already began to change the transmission fluid) I find out they gave me the wrong transmission fluid. I proceeded to call the part and service department to explain the situation, they said there was nothing they could do until Tuesday, not even give me a rental car. Went in to the sales floor spoke with the GM who hashed out a rental car for me until they could tow the car to their shop. Fast forward a week later, Izzy a service advisor calls me to inform me that Nissan would "replace" my transmission at a cost of only 30% to me. After again explaining to them that their representative was the one who made the mistake and gave me the wrong fluid and after going back and forth Izzy called me back to tell me they would cover the entire cost of the replacement of the transmission. (Used the word "replace" transmission multiple times on a recorded line) after a couple more weeks of their shenanigans they called to let me know the car was ready. When I went into the service department to pick up my car, Izzy was there to greet me with his terrible attitude as if he had to pay for the mistake out of his pocket. None the less he proceeded to tell me how they "serviced" the original transmission instead of "replacing" like he said. So sick of shady sales individuals with their vague verbiage and empty promises. I find it ironic that on the back of their business card it says... "We strive to do the right thing every time" funny how they knew to put the word STRIVE, which to me insinuates trying, with out the intent to actually do it. read more
