I purchased an item on Memorial Day after seeing targeted advertising. Soon after ordering, I realized the item would be shipped from much farther away than expected, so I immediately emailed the vendor asking to cancel. They told me the main office was closed for the holiday and that they would help resolve it. The next business day, I received an email saying the order was being prepared for shipment. I called right away and was told it was a "final sale" item, which was surprising because that was not clear to me from the advertising or checkout experience. I told them I was dissatisfied and wanted the order canceled before it shipped. They said there was a process to resolve the dispute, but later that same evening I received a UPS notification that the product had shipped anyway. Their later emails simply reaffirmed their position and claimed they tried to help, but it felt like a runaround. I contacted them quickly, before shipment, and still ended up with the order being pushed through. In my opinion, this was a poor customer experience and felt predatory. I would not purchase again unless their final-sale terms and cancellation policy were made much clearer upfront. read more

HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY I placed an order on Saturday and accidentally selected the wrong size. That mistake was mine. However, there was no option to cancel the order immediately after purchase, which is frustrating. I even emailed customer service right away asking them to cancel it, but that apparently made no difference. Because they were closed over the weekend, I called first thing Monday morning. I was told it was already being shipped and it was too late to cancel. At that point, my only option was to accept the cost of their return process: $10 for original shipping, another $10 to send it back, plus a $15 restocking fee. That is $35 total just to return or exchange an item. At that point, I may as well keep the shoes. Yes, I should have read the return policy more carefully, but the policy is still extremely CUSTOMER-UNFRIENDLY. This experience completely turned me off from ordering here again. Small businesses often wonder why so many people default to Amazon, but policies like this are exactly why. A basic cancellation window or a responsive customer service process would have made all the difference. I hope this review helps someone else before they buy. read more

I bought nike shorts through Midway. Within 3 weeks (and having only worn the shorts once or twice) the nike swoosh started peeling off. I have significant doubts these are authentic Nike shorts. When I contacted Midway, they indicated that per their policy, since just over 2 weeks had passed, there was nothing they would do. I've trusted Nike products and know THEY have good customer service. When I asked I asked if they would work with nike to replace a defective product, they replied with the exact same message: since just over 2 weeks had passed, they wouldn't do anything. I've got three kids who all play youth sports. Varsity baseball player son misplaced a pair of school issued baseball pants that he needed for a game the following weekend. I placed an order for the $60 pants through Midway's website over 9 days in advance of when I needed them. On the 8th day, having not received the order, I ended up driving to a different store locally and buying the pants in person. I then immediately tried to cancel the order in with Midway, citing their long shipping times. They told me the order was in the shipping que and would not allow me to cancel. They acknowledged and apologized for the delay and encouraged me to return the pants. When the pants eventually arrive, I email for a return shipping label only to be told there will be a $15 restocking fee. That's a 25% fee that I need to absorb for Midway's incompetence. I explained the situation over a series of emails. Their customer service would not budge. Completely unacceptable. In today's modern gig-economy, where almost all consumerism occurs online, retailers routinely offer free returns for any reason. Especially so, when the return is being made due to the seller's error. It's pretty commonplace. Not Midway though! They'd rather have me leave bad reviews of their business practices and customer service than eat $15 and possibly keep a repeat customer. Beware of these clowns. You're better off looking elsewhere for your sporting goods. P.S., I'll just keep the pants and just donate them to my son's HS team. read more

The company is non-responsive, did not send my order and lied. I ordered sweatpants and a backpack and did not receive either, despite the order screen showing both were sent. In looking at the FedEx shipping weight, it is clear that whatever they sent me that I never received was not what I ordered. The shipping weight of the package via Fed Ex shows 1.3 pounds. The backpack plus sweatpants would be nearly 4 pounds (1.0-1.3 lb (Nike pants) + 2.8-3.2 lb (UA backpack) = ~3.8 to 4.5 lb total). read more

Sent 6 emails ... No response. Jan 2nd. Got an Email and they said they shipped it even after 6 emails to tell them to cancel the order. They IMMEDIATELY emailed me back and said too late. I was looking for the University Red Nike Tech Hoodie that Nike had outfitted the Ohio State football team journey towards the College Football Playoff final. Nike does not sell this specific color in their retail or online store. Nike only sells the Light Heather University Red color. I searched high and low for this exact color and style and was happy when I found it through Midway Sports. I was sceptical at first after seeing so many negative reviews against Midway Sports but I decided to risk it and bought it with my credit card just in case I have to do a chargeback. Zero stars. I placed an order and then a day later received a email that a portion of it was out of stock. I responded "okay then please fully cancel my entire order". They state that since my item is under $50 that they will only allow a store credit. I think this limit is ridiculous in the first place, but since they were unable to fully fulfill my order I believe that the items that have shipped should be able to be fully refunded. Due to the fact that my order is not able to be fulfilled on their end I will have to place another order elsewhere. Also, the amount of money has been fully withdrawn from my account before anything was shipped or fulfilled. I'm sorry, but that should not happen until something has fully shipped. I was met with no resolution whatsoever. Ultimately, I was repeatedly called honey in a condescending tone and a stonewall of inadequate customer service. I placed two separate orders on November 30, 202: one for a large order of Nike Pants, the second for a large order of Nike Jackets to match. The first order arrived 10 days later on December 10th. The second order still has not arrived and today is January 15th, that's 6 1/2 weeks after I placed the order. Midway has been responsive to emails however, they seem to have NO control on tracking where the order is saying multiple times that the arrival of the order is "beyond their control" I quote: "Nike has provided an ETA of January 01/10/2025 for processing. Please note that this ETA is subject to change and is beyond our control." If the order doesn't arrive we'll have to go through the refund request process and also return the pants as there are no matching jackets. If this is the case, I'll downgrade my review to a 1 star. I placed an order which did not give me delivery. When their customer service group finally got back to me that it was weeks out I asked to cancel. I then replied 3 separate times asking them to confirm a refund which they ignored. The reason they do this is bc they do not offer full refunds so if you try to cancel your order they make $ and then have stock available for the next sucker. Google really needs to do a better job of removing these companies from results. Their phone # is also not in service. read more

I did initially receive my order #128243 in decent time. However, the size was way way to big. The return policy is clear that returns must be made within 14 days of delivery. So on December 12th, 2025, I tried to start the return process. I learned through the chat bot that it would take 24 hours to receive the return label in my email. By Monday December 15th I still hadn't received anything so I called customer service only to learn that the customer service phone is shutdown for the holidays. Of note, it's December 30th and it's still shutdown. Thus began a daily attempt of me trying through Midway Sports website to get a return label as well as the chat bot which is basically useless. I left a Google review detailing the nonsense on December 17th. On December 18th Midway Sports actually responded to my negative review apologizing and stating they were sending the return label to my email. And right the in my email from Midway Sports was a Confirmation that order ##128243 had been delivered, NOT the return label they claimed they had sent in the response in the Google review. So THEY LIED in the review response. Let that sink in for a moment. A business / owner LIED in the response. Obviously, the 14 days from delivery is long passed. Although I have been documenting each attempt at return. Midway Sports claims they shutdown the customer service phone because they are busy on the holidays. After seeing reviews on The Better Business Bureau, Google and even all over Midway Sports own Facebook page going back further than my initial order, this problem isn't about being busy. This is apparently how Midway Sports does business. If Midway Sports has time to make Facebook post advertisements, the have time to do their actual jobs. They are simply choosing to screw customers over. Customers are also busy during the holidays. Yet we have to spend all this time going round and round with Midway Sports, day after day trying to get a return label for refund, only to never get a response. When Midway Sports says in the Google review they are sending the return label, then immediately proceeded to send a Delivery Confirmation email. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were pretending for Google reviews that they were fixing the problem, while not actually doing anything. I wonder if they read Yelp reviews. And if they do, will they play the same game. I suppose the next step would be to take all the documentation I've collected and contact a local TV station in Miami who does investigative reports and see if they'd be interested in digging into this. Goodness knows I'm but one individual in a lot of people who are being screwed over by Midway Sports. read more

Beware of Midway Sports! I placed an order for items that were never in stock, and they charged my credit card anyway. After canceling, I received an email claiming my refund was being processed, with the usual "allow 7 to 10 business days" message. Two weeks went by with no refund, so I had to file a chargeback. It turns out, Midway Sports never refunded my money. My credit card company had to step in and take action, as Midway Sports clearly makes a habit of advertising out-of-stock items, then sending fake refund notifications to make you think your money is being returned. If you're not proactive and vigilant about getting your refund, they will intentionally fail to process it. This is shady business and a deliberate attempt to keep payments for non-existent products. Not acceptable and definitely not a company I will ever trust again. SCAMMERS! read more

I have had the worst experience with Midway Sports and will not order from them again. Ordered a jacket for a team event we are traveling to this week. Everyone's orders have been fulfilled expect mine and we all ordered the same day. Order placed: November 17th Part of order received: November 27th Reached out to Midway via email, chat and call: Auto responses that someone would get back to me, but never received a response. After calling several times and being on hold for over 30 minutes, I spoke with a rep (Shane) who stated that the other portion of my order was delayed and would arrive on December 6th. I asked for tracking details as I keep receiving order 'fulfilled' notifications. Shane advised that he could not send that to me but could see it would be available December 6th...it did not arrive. I emailed, called and send messages through live chat but only received auto messages that someone would get back to me. This morning I received an email that says my 'order was fulfilled on November 27th' but I am still waiting for the other jacket. Called Midway Sports and waiting for over 30 minute before speaking to Shane again. He remembered and said he needed to research my situation. Another 15 minutes later, he stated that the rest of my order would not be sent until December 12th. I also received an email from Zain stating its not available until December 13th and could be longer before arrival. I asked Shane to cancel this order and he said I just needed to ask for the cancellation via email to Zain. Just received an email from Zain stating I cannot cancel my order since its been fulfilled. I am in customer service and I get the holidays can delay items, however, to not provide any tracking updates or get back to customers is not acceptable. I am a part of a large organization who purchases team based apparel and have been keeping them up to speed with my experience as we look at future ordering.
