I used to work here and i can honestly say it's the most toxic place i've ever worked at they don't care about the employees or the customers, they treat all of us like trash even after we spent 10 + years here and they over charge everyone and they send illegal remotes out that have OE Logs on them. The use key cutting machine that they do not have the license for, Most employees have multiple complaints on them for multiple reason and some have sexual harassment claims and they still keep them employed. I bought a keyless entry for my Prius 2013. Paid $89. Had it programmed by dealer for $65. Worked for a while. Battery went dead. Replaced it. After 2 months it no longer works. Not even the dead key fob way of pressing the Starter button with the key fob. SO you will be left in the middle of nowhere by these people and it will cost you hundreds to get home and have the car towed. read more

I recently purchased a key five from this company. When I contacted them to complete the programming process, this was their response . "Thank you for that information. I was able to do some searching and found the order under the name "Edwin Lambert". I was able to look over the listing that this was purchased from and see that it does state this item is best used for parts only. It is a remanufactured item and it can be difficult to find a qualified auto locksmith that has the equipment needed to reprogram this item." A total waste of time and money. They dealer can't program the remotes they sent. They know this, but even when you tell them you're taking it to a dealer, they don't divulge it...The locksmith THEY recommended wouldn't touch them. The bigger scam is that EBAY somehow has such supposedly positive feedback on a company that gets slammed everywhere else. read more

The car dealer shorted me an Audi programed key without notice and so I was stuck looking for an extra Audi key. A very difficult one to get outside of ordering it from Audi $$$. The owner and master key smith at Midwest Keyless had one and only one that he took quite a bit of time to match to our 'new to us' Audi A4 Quattro. If it were possible to give these guys a negative star, I would have given them 100 of them! I bought a seemingly "new" uncut Saab remote key. It turned out that after I spent the $40 to cut the key, it was too short to fit all the way down into the ignition or door lock. So, I figured maybe I could at least program the remote and cut the key off then use my existing key. I paid an additional $60 to have the local Saab dealer tell me that they made two attempts to program it and, by the way, the reason the key didn't fit into the ignition or door lock was because an attempt was made by someone to glue a regular blank key into the remote but that it was too short. So not only was the remote defective, the blank key was a hack job. So basically these guys took me for $90 for a defective doctored key and then I had to pay out an additional $100 to learn that they had actually ripped me off! Trust me, you're better off spending more money for the real deal from an actual dealer. Don't use any of these used/refurb dealers - they continually change names and I'm pretty sure that most of the time, it's too good to be true. Ends up costing you more in the end. As a well respected locksmith here in Southern Mississippi, I decided to give this vendor a try. My current vendor Keyless Ride was out of stock and I had to go elsewhere. My experience was a nightmare to say the least, someone there named Mike took my order and that was the only good part. Out of 7 parts I ordered, 2 were defective and would not test, I changed the batteries hoping that was the issue but it was not. While changing the batteries, I noticed the electronics looked rather different then I've seen. I called Midwest and explained the situation, after 15 minutes of shenanigans they apologized and said somehow Asian Aftermarket Electronics were mixed in. I asked for a call-tag or return label and they said I must pay for the shipping back. I sent back all 7 parts, 5 out of the 7 turned out to be Chinese Aftermarket junk. Total waste of time and the amount of ignorance involved was absurd. My return tracking that I HAD TO PAY FOR??? showed up 4 days later. The refund came 3 weeks later! An absolutely pathetic at best return policy! All in all, don't bother with these knock-off impostors, unless you enjoy a headache with a side of misery!!! read more

This company is the biggest scammer on Ebay. They sell products that do not work and once returned they never refund you the money. There are many negative reviews on "merchantcircle". Avoid this company and those who were scammed should help reporting it to Illinois Attorney General and U.S. Postal mail fraud for investigation. read more

This gang can't shoot straight. They charged my card twice when I bought the firt keyless remote. When I got another a week later, they failed to send me my receipt. Then I found out that they had given me remotes that wouldn't work wih my car. And to top it all off, they charged me a 10% restocking fee tor returning the remotes. Do not deal with these people! I ordered a keyfob which cannot be programmed. They offered no support. Since I could not program it, I decided to send it back. I exchanged emails with them on eBay. They told me to send it back "no problem" and they would refund minus restocking fee. I sent it back and they did not process a refund. Instead, they told me that it arrived 2 days after the 60 day warranty. They consider the start of the 60 days when they ship the item (no details on this were ever given or mentioned via email). I sent it back within 60 days but because of postal delay it arrived 2 days late and they would not refund the item. Then they "deleted" the item from eBay so I could not review through eBay. Moreover, by giving a false warranty of 60 days, that puts it past the eBay time frame of 45 days! Scammers! Beware. read more

I ordered keys for my VW from them on eBay. They don't work - Don't waste your money. The dealers won't cut keys purchased online because the blades could be harder metal - you have to take them to a separate locksmith to cut them. The separate locksmith can't program them because of VW security. So you spend the money to have them cut and then the dealer says they're for the wrong model car and can't be programmed. You'll say I didn't match the code numbers of the key I have with the ones I bought - not true. I matched them - the codes are identical. The engine immobilizer won't work with the keys I was sold. read more

I purchased a refurbished mini cooper key fob from this company which is useless. The only people who can make the key fobs are the BMW dealer. This company states that "specialized equipment" can program these keys and yet to find a locksmith who has the equipment to do this. Here is the answer I keep getting back from locksmiths and BMW dealers: New keys need to be purchased through a Dealer. The orders are sent to BMW in New Jersey and the key is cut and coded per the vin number of the vehicle. The key is then shipped to the Dealership. From what I understand the ebay keys can not be programmed easily if at all. I hope this helps. read more
