I purchased a Pride Jazzy 27X powered wheelchair in February, 2026 from Geoff at Midwest for $3100 cash including tax. The sales receipt notes a $100 discount "for nondelivery" (we took it with us) and a $567 "cash discount." It was a demo but essentially like new due to its being a recently released model from the Pride Corp. Also included in the selling price was a removable cupholder and "complimentary in-store labor" for one year. Several strong positives were experienced while shopping. Geoff has a very nicely configured and stocked store. There is plenty of room for customers to test-drive the various powered chairs. Geoff did not at any point pressure us to buy a chair. He knew his merchandise extremely we[[HIGHLIGHT]]ll and pointed out pros and cons of each of the various chairs we considered. Several helpful suggestions were given regarding the chair we purchased. Finally, Geoff is[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]quite likeable and has excellent people and selling skills. My only iss[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]u[[HIGHLIGHT]]e with Midwest Mobility was pricing. The chair's tagged price was $3699, a f[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]ull $600 above what the same chair is selling for on Amazon, at other local dealers, and at many on-line dealers. I compared Geoff's price on another chair with those of a couple of other dealers and again found Midwest to be the highest price. I was able to buy for below Geoff's asking price partly because I paid cash but mostly because I knew in advance what the chair was selling for elsewhere. My advice to potential customers is to look but don't buy before you check prices at other dealers and Amazon, which may be lower than Midwest's. Then, if need be, you will be in a much better position to negotiate the purchase price of your mobility device from Midwest. read more

I was driving down Dempster on Friday night, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a sign that said "Wheelchair Servicing." I told my partner we were going to see what that was, and I turned the car around, pulled into the small retail mall, and at the end of the mall was a business called, "Mobility City." We went in, and I was greeted by Geoff, the owner, and his service man who works on the wheelchairs. We talked a bit on what needed to be done on my wheelchair. The service man took it to the back of the store, steam cleaned it, tightened up the "wiggle," and replaced the two arm rests. A really great improvement for a tune up! Feels light new!! I was really impressed by his customer skills, and the eagerness he had for getting me back my wheelchair in tiptop shape! Quite by accident I found this place, and I'm very glad I did, because I did not think that there were any mobility Wheelchair stores in the area. The store is a modest size, and deals with a few different types of mobility services, including mobile wheelchairs WHICH ONE CAN RENT if need be! I am so glad I found this shop. The repair prices were decent, the replacement parts were affordable, and he was able to look at his inventory to see if other parts on my wheelchair could be replaced. I heartily recommend anyone who has mobility assisted devices to seriously check him out. I was very pleased with his service, and I now know if I need any parts for my wheelchair, he's right there to help. read more

After an issue with the scooter battery not keeping charge from day 1 Midwest Mobility made it right and refunded me for the rental. I recommend them to anyone as customer service is 100%! read more

My husband dropped off my dads scooter for repair. My dad used it one summer before he passed away and the scooter sat over the winter and would not start. My mom who is 85 will need to use it soon and we dropped it off hoping it was something simple. We were charged $65 for the estimate and were told the repair was $2300. We were devastated so we picked it up and decided to let a friend look at it. He said not only was the housing never taken off but all it needed was some cleaning after the motor brushes became dirty with cob webs after being in our shed over winter. $0 to fix. There really is no excuse for business practices of cheating customers. I would not recommend this place for repair. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Mobility City and it's staff. I called on the telephone regarding hospital beds, mattresses, Lifts and recliner chairs. I needed information fast as my dad became bedridden overnight. The owner Geoff was extremely compassionate and understood my urgent situation. We visited his show room the following day, and ordered everything we needed. Delivery of most of the items was within a few days and the remainder of the items just a few days more. The white glove delivery and set up is phenomenal. Mobility City's driver, Andre, is extremely knowledgeable and also very compassionate. I hope you never need hospital equipment, but unfortunately the reality is we all age or get sick. Mobility City is the place to go for all your hospital furniture needs. read more

I brought my mobility scooter into their shop for repair. It was a scooter that they do not sell, but he would have his technician look at it just the same. It turns out that the dashboard was compromised with water. I use the scooter outside to travel to various stores, and apparently rain had shorted out a PC board. He spent quite a bit of time on the scooter and also locating the parts from the factory only to discover that the part I needed cost more than the entire unit. The bill for all this service was just $40! When I get another unit, this is the shop Im coming to for any repair. read more
