He sub contracted to people who had no experience in design, and I had to personally micro-manage/design for them (not my goal) -- they showed up with out the plants i'd requested and reluctantly went to buy some of what I wanted. Sub contractor bad mouthed the owner all day. They planted things in full sun designed to go in partial shade, didn't put enough mulch in to cover the ground, etc.... Now two months later I have $600 in dead trees, certified Arborists saying those trees don't do well in our climate/soil and a company who won't back their work. Spend your money elsewhere.

They came out to inspect the problem, found that one of the pipes on the roof is damaged and causing the problem. Since we were expecting more rain, they came back that same afternoon to temporarily seal the area until we can permanently fix it. Kristin and Jarred were outstanding to talk with and explained everything! You don't find customer service like this anymore, it was so refreshing! If you need any work done please give them a call! They do so much more than just roofing so check them out! I am so glad we did!

I contracted with the Conway branch for roof, siding and paint on my house. I was assured that…read morethey would use expert installers that worked for them. Roofers did a good job but it went downhill from there. The first siding installers messed it up completely and severely damaged the front and rear doors, and damaged the new roofing edges by leaning ladders against it. First Star sent a second crew that tore off and replaced the siding but couldn't fix the doors. They even replaced the front storm door but it still wouldn't work right because the doorframe was sprung. Then the power wash crew came out but didn't have a power washer. They had to go to Home Depot and buy one. Wanted to quit 2/3 of the way through because they didn't bring any fuel for it. I put my own gas in it for them to finish. When the paint crew showed up they didn't even have any ladders and had to use mine. They didn't caulk the gaps as promised. First Star had no qualms about leaving a 75 year old man to caulk siding and touch up paint, and repair doors and doorframes so the doors will actually close and latch. Plus I'm still picking up chunks of fiber cement siding, nails, and shards of aluminum soffit from the yard. It's not like they were pressed for time. Started in October, finished in August. You'd be better off going to Home Depot early in the morning and picking your own crews. Probably would get better results.

We cannot say enough good things about this company and its personnel!!…read more We own a Lake estate home and only hire based on referrals of trusted friends and others we have previously employed, and AJ's came highly recommended by a retired general contractor friend who knows quality when they see it! Over the past year we have had them completely renovate our large Master Bathrooms (2) & one large Guest Bathroom (replace all fixtures, renovate, texture & paint walls, build walk-in showers, replace tile floors with gorgeous porcelain) & renovate a smaller bathroom, as well as repair & replace metal roofing including soffits & gutters, replace ceiling fans over our indoor swimming pool (no easy task!), cut down very large and dangerous trees, landscape our large property, and play with our dogs after they were finished....and if our dogs love you, you must be wonderful people :) Honestly, they can do it all and then some, including being punctual, considerate & totally professional in all respects....I can't remember ever having anyone "clean" their way out as they left the house until AJ's. We will be hiring them for more projects in the near future..... once you use their services you will be spoiled !

A corner of our roof was damaged while removing a tree last winter. We had a new roof put on by…read morePinnacle three years ago so we had them come out to fix it. The invoice was higher than the quote. When I asked why, they said they had to replace a rotten piece of roof decking. When I asked how there could be a rotten roof decking sheet under a new roof they had no answer for me. Either my new 50 year warranty roof is leaking or they put shingles over rotten decking to begin with. Best part... they keep telling me they'll come out and see what the problem is but they don't. Dishonest management, quote is not dependable, service after the sale is non-existent. I'll tell whoever will listen. Aaron T
