Sara would not take my calls but happily took the mankato mgr's call as I sat there. I could not hold over because my lease ended that day. I had several emails, text messages, and recorded phone calls (I recorded) guaranteeing the pickup date of 7/31. I expressed how important this was because of my lease ending, and I was assured they would be picked up that date. I received a call while driving across the country that my boxes would not be picked up that date - 7/31. Then the lakeville office said they were "working on it" and would "call me later." I turned around and drove back to mankato. The mgr at the local office, Jerome, called Sarah Mau in lakeville- who was now suddenly available to talk - and she said there was no way they could help me. No one was willing to contact a third party vendor with a flatbed truck to just pick up the boxes and have them sit at the mankato site until lakeville could come get them. Then I spoke with the mankato regional/district mgr, Christopher Bohlman, and he told me that he does not have to honor the contract pick-up date, and yelled at me. I paid thousands of dollars to have the boxes picked up and - on contract and many written (and recorded on FB e phone) conversations with corporate this would be done according to the contract. Christopher does not want to honor the contract because to do so he would have to spend money with another vendor. First U-Haul said the driver was injured, then he was sick, and they told corporate there was a mechanical issue. They told me 8/2, and told corporate 8/1 because I sat in my car and called corporate for help, and they got involved but to no avail. Christopher is a dishonest businessman, and he is rude. While on the phone with corporate, I found out that U-Haul unilaterally amended the contract today to reflect a pickup date of 8/1/26. I did not sign for this. It is highly illegal to breach a contract and then unilaterally amend its terms. If the U-Haul office signed my name - while I was in my car - we have a forgery issue. This is not how we do things in mankato. Do not trust Christopher or do business with him.

Took corporate a long time to get them to answer. They said they're busy and appointments and promised start times don't actually happen if they get busy. The hitch giy Robert was rude and refused to install my bike rack he agreed to do prior to the appointment. The other staff member offered how we customers really need to understand we should be inconvenienced being the owner doesn't properly staff. The place is a rude, unprofessional, unreliable cluster.

Pick it up from them, (35$ for a full day!), and the condition of it was awful. I inspected it visually before renting and gave them the benefit of doubt that it just looks a little beat up as it is a rental. But I get home, plug it into the wall and this "beauty" produces half of the torque my handheld, battery, compact DeWalt impact does. Not to mention that Pin Detent on the anvil of the corded impact was completely pressed in so you couldn't even properly lock an impact socket on the dang thing first and last time I'll be coming here, wish I took pics and vids of the tool performance because it was hilarious. No idea why they rent tools that don't perform as they should and leave it to the customer to find out after spending money renting the equipment!

Both times the service was excellent, the equipment was tops, and the online check in/out process was easy to use. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this business. One other thing to note: The times that I rented there was no business sign at the turn off from Iffert. They said they were working with the city to be able to get one placed so this may have been resolved by now.

This is our first review…read more First thing to know is the rentals RV's are very low quality. You can tell once you spend a night in it. Ours, #34, was not properly sealed and you could see the outside through the walls when the side was extended. The muffler fell off while driving and it had a water leak inside soaking all our clothes. I fixed both these problems during the trip. Yet they still charged me a $300 late fee and $280 extra day charge! I was late, but because of these issues. They said I should have interrupted our vacation, called them, and had the RV serviced. I understand this, but I was able to temporarily repair the issues and continue with our family trip. I asked if they could compromise and split the difference in extra charges. The owners are entitled and think they are doing customers a favor. I went here because they are a local business, but their business practices is what is ruining American businesses. I'm a business owner myself and would be ashamed of customer service like theirs. NEVER RENT OR BUY AN RV FROM THEM!!!

We didn't go further than 4 hours from home, staying in a different campground each night, exploring a variety of lakes, and places we NEVER would have learned about. The RV had everything we needed, giving us so much freedom. Jason was a joy to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable, which was so helpful being this was our first time using an RV. I found the Sprinter Van easy to drive. We were blown away by how good the gas mileage was as well. This is a great way to find all types of unexpected adventures, without even having to go far from home. We can not wait to do this again!
