Okay so I have been coming to this establishment for around six months. i first started ordering their wings and I was not examing the wings until I get them home to consume. The wings were tasty but they were burnt. So I started asking for plain wings with no sauce and not to cook them so long were as they are literately uneatable. On several ocassions they cooked the wings perfect so I know they can do as requested. On this ocassion 04/26/2026 they fixed the wings and I had the guy to open the sealed package and low and behold burnt. So they claimed to have re-cooked them but I am not stupid what took 20 minutes to originally cook now took 5 minutes all they did was to move the chicken around so the burnt were not on top. Now to top it all off the so-called owner got mad because I wanted my money back. How dare she talk to me like that was a free meal and I was be difficult not to accept it. I paid for those wings and I am tired of taking their wings home just to throw away. Now some people may like their wings a little crispy however I dont. I live downtown Phoenix and there are way to many choices to eat. If I dont give you "burnt/crispy" money then I would appreciate the same respect. read more

We stumbled upon this place before heading to a baseball game. The owner was super nice and explained the heat levels of the sauces. The chicken tenders were SO good! Perfectly cooked and the sauces were amazing. I'm a french fry girl and they were bomb. Once we sat down, I looked at the menu more and saw they had beneigts, so I went back to the counter and got a couple. The perfect treat to end the meal. the food is so delicious from here, I always get the 13$ lunch combo and it doesn't miss. I've tried the lemon pepper tenders & garlic parm tenders and both are SOOO good. They also have a clean little lobby area with clean tables to either wait or eat in. Oh my gosh, this place is fantastic! I have a gluten allergy, and my son and husband are dairy free. These wonderful people went above and beyond to make sure everything was allergy free. My review is long overdue, but MidWest Wings has some of the best bone-in wing I've tried in Downtown/Central Phoenix. The management puts effort into maintaining a clean environment as well I tried mango habanero, one of my usual go to's, that included a large portion of french fries. The wings were prepared and marinated ahead of time since the meat was tender and the outside is crispy. Sauce was spot on, sweet and spicy. Fries were medium-thick and just how I like them battered. Terrific job with the core menu item Plenty of room inside to have large gatherings, right next to the Sun's and D-Backs and a good place to eat before the games or concerts. You won't be disappointed The menu is somewhat extensive and offer other things than wings, I haven't tried them yet. It has been two months since i've been, so this may have changed, but the only thing I'd change is having physical plates & silverware for your dine-in guests. We stopped by this gem today while killing time before a Phoenix Suns game. We were greeted by the beautiful and charismatic Kiara Adams. After asking about some items on the menu I learned that I was talking to the artist herself. I saw a flavor that you wouldn't see anywhere else. It was a Hennessy glaze. The way she lit up when I asked about it concreted my need to experience it. If you've had the jack strips at Fridays then you'd have an idea what this flavor is like but take that and improve it 1,000%. The pricing was good based on the quality and the size of the portions. A 3 piece meal would have been plenty but I ordered the 6 piece. I had to take 2 with me. I could throw away something that good....Even though I knew I wouldn't get a chance to enjoy them again since I would be at the game. I gave them to one of the areas less fortunate on the way back to my hotel, I know he was blown away by what just ended up on his lap. I would highly highly recommend this place. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, but after experiencing how shiesty they are, I'll never be back. For one, they don't have designated curbside parking like many of the other eateries in the area. Driving around in circles for 20 minutes, just to pay $3 to park at a meter is not my vibe. Why are they shiesty, you ask? Their online ordering allows for their customers to "Add special instructions". This is verbatim what their website states: "Add any special requests (e.g., food allergies, extra spicy, etc.) and the store will do its best to accommodate you." Notice there's no mention of additional fees. That's intentional (*cough* SHIESTY *cough*). They don't want you to know that their system will automatically charge $4.36 when making any special requests. What was my request? I wanted all flats for my 12 piece order. Not because I'm allergic to drums, but because it's my preference (meaning, had they been transparent about their additional fee, I wouldn't have made this special request). How do I know they've rigged the site to automatically charge for special requests (without proper advance notice)? Because I didn't realize until I got back home and checked my email that they sent two back to back emails confirming my order, literally within the same minute. One email was a confirmation of my order and the other: "We would like to inform you that there was an additional charge of $4.36 for your Wings (12 Pieces) based on the special instructions included in your order. Your new order total is $33.25." I consented to paying $28.89, not what was ultimately charged. Informing me of the additional fee after I've placed my order and have hopped in my car to head over is problematic and, if I was as petty as them, I'd file a dispute to get my $4.36 back. I'd win because, per the screenshots that I have saved to my phone, they do not have any notification of their additional fees on their site. Doing so would allow for an informed purchase, but they don't want you to know upfront (s h i e s t y). Unlike them, I'm not hurting for the $4.36. With no customers in their restaurant at 5p on a Friday, I guess I can see why they think this is okay. Buyer beware, though! Oh, how were the wings? Let's just say you can do much better if you have a taste for wings and fries. Go somewhere with free parking and better pricing and practices. read more

They seemed a bit understaffed BUT that didn't stop the three ladies that were working from smiling and being professional. Considering how busy they were our food was prepared in a reasonable time.
