I wanted to clarify specifically what I was disappointed in and it was just the texture of the broccoli It did not match the rest of the texture of the meat and sweet potatoes. My guess is that your spec is al dente which is more crunchy than fork tender. If that is truly how it is to be presented, I will bypass the roasted veggies in the future. I ordered thru door dash the spicy Korean bowl with roasted veggies and sweet potatoes. 2/3 of the bowl was obnoxious pieces of broccoli that were basically raw. I pulled out 99% of the broccoli and I was left with very little to enjoy. The beef was very tender and flavorful and the sauce was amazing with the sweet potatoes. Just disappointing about the roasted veggies because I believe there was some kale in there and some matchstick carrots but the ratio was uneven and the broccoli was inedible. This location has become the perfect example of how poor management can completely destroy a once-great restaurant. I don't know what happened over the last year, but this place has gone completely downhill. I've given this location more chances than it deserves, and I honestly can't remember the last time they got my order right. Every single visit is another mistake. Wrong dressing. No dressing. Ingredients I specifically asked to remove. Random ingredients added that I never ordered. It's gotten to the point where I expect my order to be wrong before I even open the bag. The level of carelessness is unbelievable. It genuinely feels like no one is paying attention to the orders. Whether it's a lack of training, supervision, or accountability, the result is the same: consistently incorrect food and disappointed customers. The customer service is just as disappointing. The employees come across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping. The entire place has a negative atmosphere now. Management has never given me confidence that they actually care about fixing anything. Every complaint is met with the same empty promise to "talk to the kitchen," and yet the exact same mistakes happen again and again. After more than a year of this, it's impossible to believe these are isolated mistakes. This location operates with a level of disorganization and lack of accountability that I've never experienced at any other restaurant. If you like paying for the wrong meal and wondering what they'll mess up this time, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the money, the frustration, and the disappointment. Such a cute spot with great gluten-free options! It wasn't too crowded when I went, and it really feels like the kind of place where you can relax--whether that's working on your laptop, reading a book, or catching up with friends over food. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, which I loved. I tried the shrimp bowl--spicier than I expected, but still really tasty. They also have a nice variety of popular drink options that pair well with the food. The only downside is that portions are on the smaller side, and sides cost extra. I've been here a couple times now and I don't know why, but this place just falls a little flat on flavor. It's a cute, bright, open spot and it's definitely on the healthier side of options. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl and strawberry vanilla olipop. The bowl was tasty enough and a decent portion, but it just seemed to be missing some zing to it. Service is fast and friendly though. I'm obsessed with the chicken and prosciutto sandwich, it is so delicious!! It's grilled chicken on a multigrain bun with prosciutto, fontina cheese, arugula, fig mostarda and dijon. The fig mostarda is so sweet and is glazed all over the sandwich, it just makes it for me! My husband had the club which is turkey, bacon, provolone, onion, house greens, avocado pesto, red wine vinaigrette on a multigrain bread. The service was friendly and the restaurant is bright and light. I love this restaurant so much, please open some in Utah. read more

The other day I wanted a sandwich and chop shop is nearby so I ordered delivery. Got the grinder sandwich. This thing is absolutely delicious. I ended up ordering it for lunch like the next three days. Food always comes fast and was consistent every time. There isn't much else to this review, I just really think this is a great sandwich for lunch. It comes with salami and ham and some other meats.. lettuce and maybe peppers and mayo. Just a normal Italian style sandwich. It's hard to find a decent sandwich for some reason and I feel like the grinder at chop shop hits all the marks. read more

My husband and I recently visited ChopShop in Phoenix on a time crunch and it typically provides an easy eat. The food is rather pricey for the quality, but we were desperate. I specified a tree-nut allergy and requested no tree nuts in our meals and was extremely disappointed and concerned to find chopped almonds amongst other nuts within our meal. We did not have time to bring the concern to the workers as we had to head out because the wait time had exacerbated the time we had left and as a result my husband did not get to eat prior to our event planned that night. The ordering is set up such that you order from a touch screen (which is pretty cool). I appreciate that this restaurant serves healthy foods (lots of fruits and veggies and a variety of grains. I ordered a bowl with curried tofu and chose quinoa as my grain and grilled veggies as the other side. The grilled veggies were cauliflower and broccoli. The tofu was crispy and tasty, but the curry sauce was quite thick and didn't spread well to the veggies or the grain, so they tasted quite dry. I ordered a fresh squeezed juice that was tasty. With so many other healthy places in the Arcadia area, I think I would probably choose somewhere else to go instead next time. read more

This location is located next to a school, so there are a ton of students/children who come here on a weekday afternoon. This place can get crowded. Chop shop is great for a quick meal when they are not too crowded with customers. Seems they are super popular these days. I enjoy a couple of their entrees. I wish I could try more, but I am always afraid that I will like what I had the last time better or be disappointed with trying a new entree. Their salads are fresh and the ingredients are super healthy. I like how the salad doesn't look old or taste old. Sometimes the tofu is a little overcooked though or the chicken is a bit dry. Otherwise, I have always enjoyed my meals here. I like to get the salad dressing on the side so I can put as much or as little of the dressing as I want. Also, it helps so if I have leftovers, they don't go bad as quickly with the dressing on the side. I ordered a Korean steak bowl with roasted vegetables and jasmine rice- This review is strictly about the taste of the item. The jasmine rice is mushy. The steak tastes weird; it has a gamey taste, but not in a fresh way...in an old way. The entire dish is over salted. I'm extremely unimpressed with the quality and taste of this bowl....and this should be an easy one to knock out of the park. When I walked in it was very open ! Natural lite establishment with a very earthy, natural, and farm like vibes . Tons of seating indoor & outdoor . I was very empresses with how many healthy options they have ! The staff I think was still waking up since they open so early lol but overall service was quick and fast ! And the cashier was friendly not super chipper but kind ! I ordered something simple and light , I ordered the açaí bowl which came topped with bananas , strawberries, granola, an shredded coconut ( chefs kiss!) a really good decent serving for the price I paid which was $9.00 ! So I'm really disheartened to write this review to this chop shop as I have been a regular here for many many years and have had an amazing experience, especially with the former manager Chris, who was exceptional. They really lost out when they lost her. On the other hand, the Current manager, she said her name was Jess , she's awful. My friend placed an order on DoorDash, which is something she regularly does and did it for personal pick up and the gentleman at the front didn't understand That I was allowed to pick it up so they didn't have our food in an area where a customer could grab it so I waited additionally because he didn't know what he was doing. I will give him some grace because he said he's new, but on the other hand, we tried to place double chicken on a salad that is normally there and could not be found on any website, regardless of what Jess was trying to say extremely condescending. So for all of this inconvenience and being a regular, I asked that they copped an extra side of chicken for me because I was going to pay for it originally just refused. I guess her reputation is worth $3.25. She was condescending, rude, and incompetent compared to previous management. She had a nasty attitude towards me. Couldn't be bothered to even apologize or seem compassionate terrible customer service skills. I'd like to in this review on a positive note, though many of the other workers are wonderful people and kind and are always helpful. Unfortunately, there is a few bad eggs. I guess wherever you go. Dropped by ChopShop for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of tasty, healthy options that they had! Definitely a great place for those with dietary restrictions or preferences. I had the green curry tofu bowl with brown rice while my friends tried the red chili shrimp with forbidden rice and the thai coconut chicken with quinoa, woot variety of grains! Tastewise, we all thought our bowls were great though my friend was a bit taken aback by the forbidden rice being a bit sweet. I absolutely loved the variety of veggies in my bowl and the green curry sauce over the tofu was perfect, honestly would have liked more of it. Regardless, delicious!! There are also fun tea/lemonade options for drinks so the sky is your limit. You can order online and do curbside pickup or pick up inside and sit on the patio where there's a fair amount of space.
