But look around - there's not a white tablecloth in sight. You may have to catch someone's eye, and there's nothing wrong with that. By 6:15 pm, half of our order was on the table, and we were gleefully chomping on fried dumplings and pillowy buns. The small but clean and modern space was packed - packed with people, but also with so much happiness. Almost everyone was smiling, laughing, and joking as they tucked into this feel-good array of comfort classics. Jajangmyun, jjampong, khan poong, gochu japchae... all of these traditional dishes sang. Even a simple plate of sauteed vegetables was delicious. And everything spent just seconds between being finished in the kitchen and sitting in front of us. Is it cheap? No, nor should it be. The ingredients are of the freshest, including the seafood. No clue how this simple order would take almost an hour to prepare and get out the door. Spent well over $100 and will not be going back. My food takes around 15-20 minutes to be ready, which is very reasonable. I haven't had any issues with the service here. They are efficient, pleasant, and always get my order right. My favorite rolls are the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and eel & avocado. The fish to rice ratio is perfect. They pack your rolls with a huge portion of fish. The rice is well seasoned with vinegar, sugar, and salt. The tuna and salmon are incredibly fresh and they're actually spicy!!!
