I recently was in the market for a new car. I decided to give Mighty Auto Sales a try because they had a few cars i liked and i figured it couldn't hurt to look. They were SO accommodating and great. They allowed us to ask any and all questions about the car and their business. Dave and Trina were the people my fiancé and i worked with the most. everyone was very pleasant, but i have nothing but phenomenal things to say about Trina. She was bending over backwards to try to get the lowest possible interest rate and only did 3 hard inquiries on my credit rather than 12 that bergstrom did which was not great for trying to building my credit at 20. After putting down a deposit on a car i liked and needed to come back the following day to finish, my current cars battery had died in Appleton. With me living in Oshkosh, and AAA not knowing entirely not what to do, I called Mighty Auto to see if there was anything they could do to help. Not only did they check and see if we were okay, but they offered to tow my car back to their dealership no charge, and still accepted the same amount for a trade in that they initially agreed upon. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE looking into a new car. They are a no nonsense place, and are even doing complimentary maintenance on my car due to my A/C fan breaking only a week after getting the car. If you've ever been messing with your radio and accidentally stumbled on to one of the Christian "rock" stations in the fox cities, you've probably heard an advertisement from Mighty. They try really hard to come across as what you'd get if Kirk Cameron had done a bit more coke during Growing Pains and ended up selling cars. If you try to buy a car here though, you'll quickly notice that this presentation was nothing but a well-planned façade aimed to use faith to cheat the faithful. It's sad, really. You know back when you were a kid, when you'd pull off your shoes and go running through the grass in the summer? It was always fun. Well, always fun, except for the time that you ran those bare feet through a giant pile of dog shit. Mighty Auto Sales is to car shopping what dog shit is barefoot strolls in the grass. Barefoot runs are carefree and fun, and you trust that everything will be great, just like when you shop for cars. Once you've been to Mighty, you've got shit squishing between your toes, and no matter how much you scrub you can't get the smell out.... and that makes you want to never run through the grass again. Now, be careful here: I'm not calling Mighty a giant pile of dog shit, oh no. That'd be an incredible insult to the hard work and artistry practiced by canine sphincters worldwide. Satisfied with my used car so far, however process was painful. I was clear about my budget upfront. Sales person Coty spent the morning showing, testing and selling me a car that was out of my budget because he was misinformed on the price. He then switched me to a similar car with manual transmission, was only willing to give me scrap value on my trade in. Unwilling to negotiate on trade in or car price still to keep me within my hedges. Finally, I was willing to finance the overage. Ended up getting the car within budget only because finance person went to lunch and I'd been there all day. Moral of the story, he COULD negotiate, he just wasn't willing to. read more

Try somewhere else. Went in with some of my younger siblings. Was looking to get a car for sister who is not able to drive yet, we wanted her to learn in her own. So I was there to test drive it for her. Upon looking around we were met with Trina Sauriol. Awful! She told us that we needed to have the legal parent/gardian of my sister there with us in order to test drive the vehicles, mind you I was the one who was going to drive! My sister really has nothing to do with it. Trina was outright rude and judgemental. I am still at a loss as to why we were told we needed a parent or guardian there. I am of legal age to drive and have passengers in the car. I believe she saw us as young and dumb. Well, now she looks dumb because we are never going back. We visited other car lots with zero problems. We will let everyone know not to get their first, second, third, or any vehicle from Mighty, as long as Trina is there. It's really sad because when businesses mistreat young people they remember that when they get older and have more money to spend they will do so elsewhere! Wow I guess I should have checked here first before I bought. Have only had car for short time so holding my breath. Here are my perceptions - they seem to buy mostly vehicles that have been in an accident but car fax discloses so that is fair. Unwilling to negotiate on price but priced lower than competitors in area so maybe a trade off. Sales person either untrained unethical or both. Was making things up as he went along. Example" we replace brakes and tires on ALL of our cars when they come in." But when I purchased my vehicle he said "you have plenty of tread left on your tires". Also told me not to worry about warranty running out because the average person only puts 8K miles on a year. I told him I put on 12K and don't have a long commute. The finance person was a bit put off that I didn't finance with her but since they weren't willing to negotiate in car price I was a little passive aggressive and got my loan directly from the credit union to cut them out of that profit stream read more

Never buy from this place. Test drove a car there and it started smoking a couple blocks down the road. That should have been a clue not to purchase, but we did end up purchasing a different vehicle from them. We had problems right from the start and ended up bringing it back to them for repairs...another big mistake. They charged us full price to replace the intake manifold and guess what 3 years later we had to get the manifold replaced by a reputable company and we finally got the problem fixed right. Not sure what Mighty Auto actually did when they said they replaced the Intake Manifold Gasket and the upper intake????? Mighty Auto doesn't care about the customer, once they make the sale. We purchased a car from Mighty about six weeks ago. Extremely low pressure, let us keep the car overnight before we bought it. Last week, it appeared that the battery was dying. They had told us if anything happened right after we purchased the car to bring it back and they would fix it. They replaced the battery, no questions asked. The next day we discovered it was the alternator, not the battery, so we brought it back again. Cody was extremely helpful. He gave us a loaner car while they ordered a new alternator and replaced it, free of charge. This is how you keep customers. We absolutely will be back next time we are searching for a car. I would NEVER recommend buying a car from Mighty Auto. We bought a Volovo xc90 in Feb 2011. It has been a nightmare. We had a major, break down with this car on the highway, just a few months after purchasing this car. When we contacted the Gen Manager of this dealership his response was, "well you've had this car almost four months now." So, essentially he is saying if you buy a car from Mighty Auto, don't expect it to last more than 4 months. We have since sent certified letters that they have not responded to. We are totally convinced they new about these problems when they sold us the car but did not tell us about them. All the cars are band aided together just good enough to drive off the lot. There were repairs done to our car before they put in on the lot to sell that were completely wrong. Wow I have dealt with some rude dealer ships before in the past but this one is among the worst!!! So this ones for you Steve,first off to talk down to a customer in a confrontational manor telling them how great of a salesman you & your dealership are is pretty childish to say the least. Further to turn down a deal over $500 difference in price that seems a bit absurd in any business that's deal with these types of dollar amounts.
