Stopped by at 9:30 on a Friday night for our first time. We are from out of town and were in the mood for a good late night pizza. We ordered a classic thin pepperoni pizza and some boneless wings hot flavored. We got home opened the pizza box and saw a perfectly beautifully cooked pizza. I grabbed a slice, took the first bite and thanked the stars for wandering around and finding this Pizza joint. My wife and I are from Muskegon and rank the pizzas we have tried there and your pizza blows them all out of the water. I'd say it is in my top 3 pizzas I have tried world-wide. Mighty Fine is essentially a mini room for pizza takeout, right off the main stretch of Downtown Petoskey. You pop in this country door to snag your pizzas, and out you go -- there's no tables to eat in. The owners and staff are all really nice and were friendly when we went to pick up our za's. Don't be confused by the menu -- you can either order "single" or "double" pizzas in size small, medium, or large. Essentially they're giving you a deal if you buy two of the same size pizza (a "double small pizza" is just two small pizzas" for a different price). That tripped us up at first. We ordered a large cheese, medium BBQ chicken, small vegetable pizza, tossed salad, and order of breadsticks. They also had cookie dough bites and brownies in their shop that looked great. The breadsticks were super doughy and good (definitely greasy too), the salad was delish (we all LOVED the ranch), the cheese pizza was good (great doughy crust, but almost no marinara sauce present), the chicken BBQ was the fav pizza (note that it comes with onions, peppers and tomatoes on top) and the veggie one was a hit as well. We ordered buffalo and it had a different kind of spice that I couldn't put my finger on the name but I didn't care for it. Honestly I didn't taste any buffalo at all. We ordered carryout while staying in Petoskey. We wanted to try a local place. They answered the phone quickly and the person who answered was friendly. We got an XL create your own pizza with cheese stuffed crust and sausage and pepperoni. We also got pepperoni and cheese breadsticks and those were very good. Granted this is only the second time we've tried this place but nobody's talking about the salads! They're better than the pizza imho. We might try the thin crust but if you get a large regular pizza, the crust is way too thick, again imho. Personal pan size is perfect however. The salads are fresh and the ingredients are thoughtfully included (I never would've put fresh mushrooms on my caesar but it was delicious!). The Chef salad I got last night was equally good but be advised the "small" is a far cry from being a side salad and enough to feed two. Take out the crispy croutons before you put it in the fridge (if there's leftovers) to keep them crunchy (a lesson I learned the hard way). We'll definitely be back. read more

Just came back from picking up a pizza. Walked in, ordered and paid for it. The man said it will be ready on 10-15 minutes. No problem. Went next door to a health food store. Came to pick up my pizza. The man at the counter ( Mr. RUDE as hell) said, hey, you have to pay for it. I said, I already paid for it. Who rang you up? I told him. He left the counter to verify that I indeed paid for it. He had to ask three people. Now, this is my first time ordering from you guys. And it might be my last. You guys need a system of when a person pays for their pizza, write on the ticket "paid". Or "PD". Whatever. And secondly, I can easily take my money to another business. You need to learn how to treat customers with respect. Don't be rude to me. I was never rude to you. read more

Well we were thoroughly unimpressed. We called to place our takeout; there is no dine in option and unfortunately there is no online order option. We were told there was an hour wait. Fine. We went to pick up our gluten free pizza an hour later & we were given a hamburger. We were told "the newbies taking orders must have gotten your order wrong" & that we were SOL bc the kitchen was closed. We have severe allergies & could not even eat the burger we were stuck with.
