After getting a second opinion, I learned that wasn't necessary in my case. My porcelain crown was covered by my insurance without having to pay that upgrade fee. Looking back, it felt like the focus was more on getting me to pay out of pocket than helping me complete my treatment. In any case, I trusted their recommendations, only to find out later there was a much more affordable option. If there's one thing I learned, it's to always get a second opinion. It could save you hundreds of dollars and a lot of unnecessary upfront charges from this provider.
